Michelle,

I too have been admiring your works of art for a long time, and finally decided to try one of your tutorials. You made the steps so easy to follow, and I'm grateful for your sharing of your unique style. I've been in a stamping rut of sorts, but this has brought back my passion for creating cards! I made this card for my sister's upcoming birthday and I'll be sure to give you all the credit!
Thanks so much,
Jill

Michelle,

This is the first tutorial that I have tried. As I have already stated, I have no artistic ability AT ALL. However, I was able to make a card that I am not embarrassed to show. Thank you for sharing so much with us. It is so appreciated. You are my favorite! I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work and your wonderful tutorials. Thank you again, and again.

Diana asked "how do you make it easy for the sponging to do circular motions. Do you wet your sponge before you do your coloring?"
Diana, I use a dry sponge. :)

Wow these are so beautiful ... like one other person said ... these are not my colors, I am not an orange person at all ... but I do love poppies. I am going to try and make a card similar to yours using your technique later this evening.
I also have a question ... how do you make it easy for the sponging to do circular motions. Do you wet your sponge before you do your coloring? I am still new at this, so I normally just use a dry sponge to do distress look ... don't want a lot of ink for that reason.
Thanks also for a great tutorial ... just reading it makes it sound so easy.
Blessings,
Diana

Andi asked " tried the versamark pen and failed. What I did is, I stamped the image with pigment white and then sponged chalk over it. I thought I would seal it by coloring over it with the versamark pen and then embossing it. The powder didn’t stick. Have you had this trouble ever?"
Andi, it was probably the chalk didn't allow the versamark to stick well to the card stock. You may want to try a different coloring medium. :)

I agree with Sharon in NE, I am in awe. Your work is just so beautiful and I can tell with your tutorials that it is just so natural and obvious how all of it goes together to create a thing of beauty. I so appreciate that you take the time to teach those of us with so much less talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
