I just happened upon your blog through Splitcoast (lotus tutorial) and read about your trip. Isn't Carmel/Monterey an unbelieveable place? For the last 6 years my grandparents have rented a small house in downtown Carmel for a month in the Summer. They have been kind enough to include us (myself, DH and two DD's). Every year we count the weeks until we return to Carmel, or at least my husband and I do. I enjoyed your beautiful photos and love your tutorials. Your work is beautiful.
