My First Ever Blog Candy!
I’m not a blog candy kind of girl. Meaning you won’t see me giving stuff away constantly in order to create traffic to my blog. I would rather give you tutorials you can use. But I stayed up way to late last night and I slept in this morning and find myself having two of these beautiful stamp sets Comfort & Peace from Gina K. Designs. A gal only needs one set so the other one I am giving away as my first ever blog candy. So leave a comment on this post telling me the things you would like to see in the future on my blog. I will have my husband, Russ draw a random number tomorrow morning and that number will receive this set for free!
Fair enough, I got to sleep in this morning and you have a chance at a beautiful free Gina K. Designs stamp set.
Hey, have a fabulous Friday!
Until my next post. . . . .
Michelle
I’m only a recent reader of your blog, but I love what I’ve seen so far. Love how you give the step-by-step photos, especially of your sponging and brayering. Just keep ‘em coming!
I know you are looking for some good solid feed back but your blog is great. The talent you have for writing the tutorials is fantastic. The steps are so packed with information and tips for creating cards. You have already suggested the video and that would just blow everyone away. The only thing I can think of right now would be, and only because it has been introduced on your blog, is additional information on your artwork pieces. If I come up with a brain storm later, perhaps after coffee, I’ll be back.
The only thing I can think of to improve what is already a fabulous resource is a video tutorial so we can actually see “live” the action…you sponging brayering etc etc. Glad you enjoyed a sleep in!!
I agree with Linda L. a video on brayering, sponging and such would be the best! I’ve wanted to see you in action for some time now. thanks again for all that you do!!!
I guess I would join the masses and say a video tutorial, too.
I enjoy your blog through an RSS feed so I don’t make it to your site all of the time, but I do read it and try to absorb some to try to add to my own style.
Thank for producing all of the great tutorials so far!!!
I have just started reading your blog but love everything I have see so far. Your tutorials are great! I am not sure what I would like to see in the future just keep those tutorials coming.
I, so enjoy your blog, as to me it is my kind of stamping.
I am not sure what you can do to improve, just keep doing what you are doing. I have your page set up as my homepage address, so I won’t miss a thing.
Thank you, for sharing!
Your talent is unbelieveable!! Not sure you can do any better than you already have done! Like everyone else only a live video could change the way we view your tutorials. BUT your tutorials are very easy to follow and I find them very interesting! I haven’t got the tools to try what you do but someday!!!!!
Glad you got to sleep in. We all need that sometimes. I would just like to encourage you to continue feeding your followers. I wake up every morning excited to see what you have created for us. Thanks for a chance a blog candy. Have a great day. See you tomorrow….
Michelle,
Your cards are beautiful. My husband likes to look over my shoulder whenever I am surfing your blog. He asked me yesterday why I don’t try doing a card like yours. Maybe I’ll give it a shot this weekend.
You are wonderfully talented - thanks for sharing it with us!
Your tutorials are fantastic! Visiting your blog is the first thing I do every morning. My only suggestion would be to provide video. It would be great to see you in action. I also like when you show us the artwork that inspired your cards. I must say you have taught me to look at art in a totally different way! I hope you get your much needed rest!
Joanne L.
Oh, Oh, Russ, pick me, pick me!!! Michelle, I would like to see a tutorial on using piercing tools and using the Stampamagig. I’ve just about got the brayering down except I do have a question regarding that; in a set I purchased many moons ago, it contains several different kinds of brayers. A rubber one, clear plastic and I can’t remember the others. What could I use them for???? Echoing all the other comments, thank you so much for the time you take to make your tutorials. You should feel really blessed to know how much pleasure and joy you have brought to many by sharing a God given talent.
It is hard to come up with what more I would like to see. Your tutorials are amazing. I don’t know how you manage to come up with something new so often. I like the idea of an occasional video tut as has already been mentioned.
I generally view your blog in a reader, so rarely comment, but reading it is one of my daily treats. Thanks for sharing your talent.
I just shared your blog with a couple stamping buddies yesterday due to the tutorials! We were on our way to a Mega Meet held in Michigan this week, and met at my house. Thanx for being a constant souce of inspiration … and the chance for some t’riffic blog candy!
Your tutorials are wonderful, and I’m actually expecting to overcome my fear of the sponge any day now! Thank you for putting all the time and effort into making them.
I just love all your work. A video would be wonderful too. I just can’t get that brayer thing. I also really enjoyed the flower vase card you made when you punched out the large ovals. More like that would be great. What ever you do I love. Cynthia
I love your tutorials on this blog and more is always a good thing…
Hi Michele, I appreciate so much your tutorials. I’ve been experiementing and have had some great results. Keep ‘em coming! A video would be great to watch. You are such an inspiration, thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts. Thanks for a chance to win this great stamp set. Happy day, Peg
Wow - great giveaway! Can’t think of anything original - so I will also say a video tutorial, but what you do now is just cool!
Just keep the tutorials coming! Your step by step instructions are SOOOOO helpful and have helped to make me a better stamper! Thank you so much. Anjou
Michelle,
Your blog is the the candy..I love your tutorials and I love that Ican print them out so that I can follow your directions step by step. Video would be nice but I fear it will be harder to follow. I love your Goddess stamp. You have also done a card with squirrels on it and I have yet to figure out how you worked in the background. Did you emboss the squirrels first? You are so clever. Sleep in as much as you want. I just love the set you choose for your give-away.
Linda
Michelle,
What can I say? Love your stuff and enjoy seeing how you do it all. Don’t think there is anything more I could tell you to add as you cover it all. If I would happen to win the set but don’t freak out if I don’t answer right away. Going away for the weekend and may not have internet! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
I just found your site recently and LOVE your sunsets, in fact our stamping group is getting together today and I can’t wait to show them what I’ve learned from your tutuorials! Thanks for sharing your great talent!
I also love your site and keep up the good work…I learn every day!! em
Oh Michelle, I am so happy that you don’t worry about giving stuff away but focus on your tutorials!! I love your blog (and clearly many others do as well) just the way it is!! Keep giving those tutorials, it’s the “secrets of your work” that we need to make us think we can create anything as close as your works of art!! I have already learned so much from you! Thank You!!!
I LOVE your blog and visit every post even without the candy! I do have a question…when I first started brayering I was trying to get it smooth, which I do like and I think I’ve gotten pretty good at that, but when I look at some of your cards you often have the vertical lines in them. Do you do that on purpose for a certain “look”? Because I really like that, too! That is a very nice set you’re giving away! And thanks so much for the tutorials - I love them!
Your blog and artwork is totally AWESOME. I wished I was half as good as you are. One thing I would be interested in seeing is if you are still selling your pastel paintings and what you’ ask for them. Then I have to agree with the others video tutorial would be nice, but I would totally understand if would not do that, because I would hate to do it myself…
Great job with everything you do!
Michelle, the Brayer Queen! I love all of your work and you have inspired me to try brayering (is that a word?). Can’t quite get my brayer to work as well as yours, maybe we could swap. A lot of people are asking for videos here, but I prefer your tutorials that way they are so I can take my time and study each step. Thanks for sharing all of your great work with us!
i’d also love to see video tutorials!
Michelle,
I found your site about a month ago and I think the tutorials are great the way the are I just need to get over my brayer fear and go for it. Everytime I have used a brayers I get uneven lines but your tutorials have shown me to just play, play and play more. Now I just need to find the time. I know you asked what to add but I like your blog just the way it is.
Really - you do such an beautiful job doing what you do all ready, maybe a tuturiol but I can catch what you do and say just throught your work. I’m not to computer friendly and I’m afriad I won’t be able to view it cuz sometime I don’t think my computer is update enought to view others who have done this as well.
I love your blog, you do such beautiful cards. I find it hard to think of anyway to improve upon what you already do. I enjoy coming here everyday to see what you have posted. Thank you for sharing your creations and with such wonderful instructions. I also would like to thank you for offering great candy. Glad you were able to sleep in enjoy your day.
It’s my first time here. I’m definitely subscribing to you via reader! I love your tutorials…they’re very detailed and helpful! Thanks so much for your effort in sharing!!!
x
Michelle, you already do so much hard work to give us these fabulous tutorials - we should be giving YOU free stamps as a thank-you! I’m glad you’re enjoying a well-deserved sleep-in
I can’t think of anything I’d request, because you already cover a multitude of subject material. I am in total awe of your talents and thank you for sharing them with your readers:)
I just love your step-by-step tutorials–it’s so encouraging for stampers like me who view your gorgeous cards and think, “Oh, I could never do that”…. I really enjoy seeing how you combine and blend colors, so that’s what I’d love to see more of! Thanks for sharing your work with us.
I have learned so much from your blog and the wonderful step by step instructions. I’d just like to see you continue to do what you do! It’s great!
I found your cards on SCS. Not knowing at first about you, I always picked your card as my favorite. Now, with your blog, I can still pick your cards as my favorites. Thanks so much for your creativity,
I love your tutorials Michelle. I have made so many B-U-tee-ful cards using your techniques. I print out the ones I really want to try and I keep them in a binder. I think you have added so much to the stamping community as a whole. You are a wonderful teacher and I too would love to see you in action via video. I have the hardest time trying to get the line out left by the brayer so seeing that in action how you actually do it would be most helpful. I look forward to your latest creation everyday. Keep up the great work for all of us addicts. (:
I don’t have anything that I would add to your blog - just keep doing what you are doing presently. I am amazed each day I view your blog. Your talent blows me away! Thanks for the opportunity to win this beautiful stamp set.
Michelle:
I visit your blog on a daily basis and just love your tutorials. One of these days I will go and buy a brayer and try your techniques. For now I just love to adorn your cards.
I can’t think of anything that I would like to see other than what you have been doing already.
You are so creative. Tks for the sharing.
I love seeing your step by step tutorials - it’s watching something come alive! I would love for you to maybe give tips on how to create a scene with different stamps. You make it look easy but when I am sitting at my desk, I don’t know where to start! I have a very limited creative mind!!
Your blog is wonderful! I visit it every day to see what new technique I can learn! I just have one question: How do you get your brayer edges so soft? Every time I try, it leaves a hard ink line on the paper where the edge of the brayer rolled.
Thanks for sharing your artistry with us!!
Im a subscriber, I like your tutorials. have you thought about video, well just a idea would be cool, thanks for the opportunity
I love your blog & read it every day - it’s amazing what you do with that brayer! Thanks for a chance to win (I could use a good sympathy set!)
I am always AWED by your work and now by your generosity. Your tutorials are really helpful and having this set would be too. I don’t have many stamps that I can use on sympathy and illness cards and find myself in increasing need for such things. Thanks for all you do.
RUSS PULL MY NUMBER PLEASE ; )
Your tutorials are simply amazing - that you share your abilities - priceless. Your artwork (your cards are worthy of framing) is beautiful, the depth of color that you achieve and then show us how to do it ourselves! I will never tire of seeing your tutorials. (Maybe one of these days I’ll be brave enough to actually follow one, LOL)
You use of color simply overwhelms me! You inspire me to get out of my prim little box and start using COLOR! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.
What I enjoy about your blog is watching your creative thinking process in action as you take pictures step by step. Even when you show how you decide to add some more or change something as you are going along, it shows the process….so just keep doing what you are doing! When you have an idea for a card, I just love to watch it come together! The sympathy set looks very versatile, now that you have shown us many ways to use the elements in different ways.
I’ve actually never used a brayer before (gasp!)… but after visiting your site, it’s on my “to-buy” list.
I’m not sure if you’ve already covered this or not, but I’d love to hear some tips for beginners. I’ve heard from others that using a brayer takes some time to get used to in order for the images to look good - so what do we need to do/know to help get started? Is the trick trying to get the brayer inked evenly? I’m a brayer “wannabe” and am just curious about some elementary answers. Thanks so much!
I love me some BLOG CANDY!!
Your blog rocks, I love the tutorials. I am always in awe of your work. Thanks for sharing your creations with us.

You are a true Artist! I love to check your blog daily just because you are an inspiration and I love your style so much. Keep doing what you are doing because I have learned alot from your beautiful tutorials. I had never sponged or brayered until I started watching your tutorials and I love it. Thanks for sharing yourself and your talent with us. I really like the scenery type cards.

I have become an addicted stamper, thanks to your tutorials. I cannot telll you how much I appreciate them and the fact that I am now producing results I am actually proud of. I don’t usually care about blog candy but I love that set. There are too many times when those sentiments are needed. I think you have already heard me so I am being a terrible nag, please forgive me, but I would appreciate the size of the card. If you could see me trying to figure it out on my own you would be ROFL.
The only thing I think I want to see is more of the same. You really are an artist and I appreciate you sharing the steps on how you got to the finished card. Just trying your techniques is making me a better stamper, and I really thank you for that.
Ann
Hi, I love your tutorials. Then are very helpful. I check in often to see what you have created. Blog candy is nice but your beautiful art work and generous time creating the tutorial’s is what brings me back to your blog.
Thank you for making my work so much better.
I love what you are already doing on your blog. It’s so interesting to read about the creative process- like what’s going on in your head as you are creating. I’m just here hoping some of your talent and creativity will rub off on me! You are truly an artist and thanks for sharing. I appreciate the time and effort that it takes to stop and take pics along the way, then upload them to the blog. Thanks!
Hi! I only recently started checking out your blog, but I love it! Your step by step tutorials are great. Your work is amazing!
I love your blog, would just encourage you to carry on doing what you are doing.
Your creations are amazing and I just want to see more of them. I’m in awe every time you have one and I always “star” it so I can go back to it. Thanks so much for your detailed entries!!
My only suggestion is: More of the same, please! Your work is wonderful and I really appreciate your generosity in showing us step by step how to do each technique. THANK YOU!!
I like the techniques - maybe videos of the more difficult ones.
Michelle since I have discovered your blog I have been here daily. Your tutorials are amazing to say the least. Sent me on a hunt for my Versa marker pen in my stamp room. Never did find it though. Thank you for sharing your wonderful stamping style with us.
-*Linda*-
Hi,
I love your blog and your unique technique. I like to see all the different ways you apply your style to different themes.
Your blog is just wonderful the way it is!!! Why fix something that isn’t broken.
Thank you so very much for sharing your talent with me. You inspire me so much and
I’ve found that I love “chalking” with ink now!!! Have a wonderful weekend.
I have to sound like everybody else who sent in a comment and say I totally love what you do right now. I look forward to each and every tutorial you do, & they’re so– easy to follow. I agree w/ one of the other ladies about using your puches as a spring board for some projects, loved that vase one as well. That enables me to see different uses for everyday items. Thanx for the chance at this lovely set of stamps, that’s very kind of you. Have a great weekend!
I can not think of one thing I’d change on your blog. Yours is such a change from all the others out there and I think it’s just fabulous. I only recently stumbled upon yours and was just awe struck at your creativity and thought the tutorial style is so unique and valuable to those of us who strive to venture in the area that you excel. Keep it coming!
Hi Michelle, I think you deserve a lie in!! LOL for all the work you do for us and it should be us that gives you something not the other way around. The only thing that could top what you are doing now would be a video. I have found actually seeing the techniques in motion somehow actually make things click into place. A sort of ‘oh that’s how you do it’ moment. I look forward every day to see your creations. Many many thanks.
I would like to see you at my house, for a play date with stamps.
Your tutorials are great. I can’t think of anything on your blog to improve.
The new Gina K. Designs set, Comfort and Peace is beautiful. Sympathy cards are one of the more difficult cards to create but easier with the right stamp set.
Hi Michelle…and Russ!

You do a fabulous job teaching your methods in your tutorials and of course, a video to see the actual brayering process in action would be great. I, personally, would love to learn how you decide what you are going to create each day. The variety in your creations just amazes me so I’d love to learn how you come up with these ideas and the process you go through to decide what colours to use, what size paper to use, what scene you’ll create….etc. I know it would be hard to describe the creative process but just a glimpse into your mind would be exciting. Thanks for all you do! Russ, I’d sure like to win that stamp set!!!!
Happy Mother’s Day,
Trish
I love this set. My sister works for Hospice and I make all the cards for them to use. It would be perfect!!
I would like to see more of the same. Your blog is an inspiration and I am completely in love with your color combinations, techniques, and amazing ability to work with ink. I cannot imagine all the time you put into each card.
Thanks for sharing your tutorials with us- I visit everyday. As much as I’ve been trying hard to brayer and stamp like you I have so much more to learn. So I’ll just keep drooling at your work and praying that one day I’ll get something right. Have you ever thought of making a video? I enjoy your blog just the way it is.
Michelle I have been to your blog numerous times, but today for the first time I am going to follow one of the tutorials. I can’t wait, I love them and just keep doing it your way! I do love the chance for the candy too. Thanks so much for all the work and effort you put forth for us.
Thanks so much for all your wonderful tutorials … I’ve learned so much! In fact, I save every one of your email’s (I’m subscribed via email), for reference.
One thing I’D like to see: How the HECK do you clean your brayer?!?
And how long does it take to master the brayer?!? I’m brayer-challenged …
Thanks for all the inspiration … oh, and the chance to win, too!
~Hugs, Deb
debkneer@aol.com
You don’t need to do anything else…those tutorials you write are so detailed with all those pictures, I often think it must have taken you all day to get them written up! Thanks for sharing your talent with us…I keep trying but have yet to produce my own “Zindorf”.
I just love your blog! I am so excited when you show up on my google reader. I love seeing you incorporate the colouring and shading into your tutorials - I have already learned a lot that way. Thanks for the chance to win - I love that Gina K. set!
I love your blog and have been visiting since I first found the world of stamping blogs this January. I really appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the photos of all the supplies!
What fun to read through all these comments, lol! I hate to be a bore, but I, too, would love to see an occasional video. I stress “occasional,” though. I really love your tutorials just the way they are…step by step with pictures along the way.
I guess what I love about them is that you’re not doing some complicated “technique.” It’s a melding of various simple things that somehow turn into beauty, lol! I can’t remember what I was working on recently, but I all of a sudden had the thought to go over an image with my versamarker, lol! These things you show are easy to work into my projects, unlike some of the hugely complicated techniques out there…they’re do-able for most of us.
Russ, if you draw my name, throw it back, please, lol! I won this set from Gina K. the night it was released. It’s a fantastic set and any of these girls would be thrilled to win…
I too would rather you do tutorials! But since you are offering this up and it just happens to be one of my favorites from Gina K (although I don’t yet own any — gasp!!!) I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks for you wonderful inspiration you are a very talented lady and I am thankful that you like to share!
I love your work and tutorials! If there was one thing I would like to see on your blog, is a step by step on how you use your brayer. I still get a big lines going across my cards and can’t blend them out.
Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.
Lisa
I just love your creative and inspiring artwork. I love your easy to follow tutorials. I love any kind of techniques, altered items, and really anything handmade. Thanks for a chance at this sweet stamp set.
Thanks for sharing all the fantastic, step-by-step tutorials. You have really demystified the whole process for me! Please don’t change a thing
Fabulous blog candy; thanks for sharing!
I really appreciate how you combine stamps to make a scene and I find myself looking at stamps differently now. You have a delightful style!
Michelle,
Wow, is still all I can say! I so appreciate your tutorials. I’ve been crafting for many years but what you do with ink is amazing! It’s so true that you never stop learning! As for what I would like to see on your blog in the future is for you to just keep doing what you like cause I feel that we, the viewers, always benefit from that and gain a ton of information! So thanks for the amazing tutorials and just keep on playing and sharing. THANK YOU!!!
Cheryl
Your talent with inks is mind boggling to me! Every morning, your site is the first place I go for inspiration! I can’t tell you how many times I have printed out your tutorials in order to try my own hand - only rarely does my work come even close to your results! Please don’t stop inspiring!!!
Terry
Oh I just love your cards. I never used my brayer until I found your blog! I still haven’t mastered your techniques yet, so I too would love to see one in video.
Thanks for your great blog.
I’m just floored with what you bring to your tutorials. You do make it look easy and I’ve actually tried to do what you do. My clear embossing powder has been getting alot more action now. As for what I’d like to see is just keep doing what your doing, it’s great! I keep pushing myself to go “outside” my comfort zone and you are the inspiration for that. Thank you.
Jannette D.
Ooh! I just love the flower images in this set…gorgeous! I recently added you to my favorites list because your cards are AMAZING! The fact that you take the time to show every step with a tutorial is even more mind boggling to me, but I love it! Video tutorials would be kind of cool to see, but really, if you just keep doing what you’re doing, I’m sure we will all stick around
Thanks for the chance!
I’m afraid you may not appreciate my answer…I have no suggestions. I come here everyday anxiously waiting to see what you’ve created and I am never disappointed. (Okay, for those days that you take off, sure, I’m a little disappointed, but you need to have some time away and see, I didn’t shrivel up during your last break.)
I’m looking forward to seeing a video of your marvelous wonders, other than that, you just keep up the great work.
You have given me courage to pull out my brayer. Your work is beautiful, and I cannot give a suggestion. I thank you for your inspiring work.
I love reading your blog, as I am in awe of your beautiful cards. What I’d like to see is some ideas for using your favourite techniques, but on a simple card. I’m just too chicken to try one right from the start, so I’d like to work up to it.
Anyway, thanks for the chance at that beautiful Gina K set!
Great blog - great tutorials! Keep it up!
I do like your blog a lot but there is a little repetiveness right now. How about something along the lines of why to use what type of ink pad when? Or using stamps in an unusual way.
Videos!
I love your tutorials.
I have this set, so you can take me out of the drawing, but I am curious to know how you ended up with two of the same set. Does that happen when you have too many stamps and forget that you had and it and go buy another
Michelle,
You know the old adage -”If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?” That’s the way I feel about your blog. I was so happy when I found your blog. Not only have I learned new techniques, I’ve even learned of a few products I haven’t known about or used. Thanks for sharing your time and talent. It has to take a lot of time to do the tutorials. That is “candy” enough! But then to be giving away a set of stamps! Wow. Thanks for sharing!
I have learned so much from your tutorials, I can’t thank you enough for creating these & teaching me & others how to go to the next level of creating. You gave us the knowledge now all we need to do is create! Thanks again!
I would love to see a hawaiian scene with the Imaginese Hula penguin stamps that sell for just $1. that would be awesome!
Hi
I love your tutorials - so mode of those please
I love everything about your blog already! I couldn’t even think of anything else you could add! Your work is fabulous - I love the way you blend colors and shade/shadow. You create ART!
WOW, how generous of you! What do I want to see more of on your blog? Just more of the same GORGEOUS things that you create! Those scenes and backgrounds you create are just STUNNING! So, you don’t have to change a thing for me!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Thanks for the blog candy opportunity. As far as tutorials, wow, I can’t imagine there is anything you can do to improve yours! They are outstanding.
How about a glimpse into your organizational items? Since it seems you have “everything” there is to have, how do you store it all?
Thanks so much for your generosity! (Time and stamps).
I love all of your tutorials. Your blog is one of the first I go to each day because I learn a lot from you. I can’t ask more from you… I love the step-by-step instructions you provide. Thanks.
I absolutely love that you help us all out. It is wonderful and very kind of you. I am sure that it takes a lot of time but it is appreciated. Thanks again.
I love your tutorials! Your work is simply gorgeous. I would be interested in seeing Stampscape type scenes, if you have anything that would work. I am fairly new to your blog so I don’t know if you already have and I have missed it. I would also be interested in how you store all of your supplies and keep organized enough to do these great tutorials. Thank you for the opportunity for thr blog candy, that is a great set!
I love your tutorials. A video would be so cool, aber a tutorial about flowers and maybe step by step brayering would also be very nice.
I also just found your blog recently and I LOVE it. I am brayer-challenged and reading your tutorials make me feel like I can do this too…especially since I am a visual person and can see the step-by-step process. I’ll blow the dust off of my brayer one of these days, if I can tear myself away from the computer! I agree with the others that if you were going to add anything a video would be great, but the site is great just the way it is. Thanks for sharing your work!!!
I love your blog, especially the tutorials, they eally are great. I would love to see a video tutorial to see you in action. you are so lucky you got to sleep in, I only wished, ut with three girls is almost impossible.
god bless
I love everything you do! It’s going to take me forever to learn all that you have shown in your tutorials, so anything would be great. Not much help, I know. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great blog-keep up the good work!!! Great set too. Your work is awesome and inspiring!!! I’m amazed at the work you go to, and that you take time to show us every step.
Michelle, Your blog is so informative and so beautifully photographed. I would only hope for more of the same!!
I love your tutorials - you are so detailed anyone could follow your instructions. Thanks for the opp at blog candy!
http://stampinwithanita.com/
I’ve always wanted to learn brayering techniques and YOU have taught those to me. Thanks so much for that. I’d love to keep learning more from you! You’re a great teacher.
Would love to win some candy as well! I love Gina K designs!
Gretchen
You are the brayering queen. I have recently taken my brayer out of retirement because of you. Thanks. If you ever make any scrapbook pages, I’d love to see them.
Michelle I love your site and I visit everyday, this the first time I have ever responded to a blog. My next attempt will be to try to make a brayered card from your tutorials, lol I love your site the only thing better will be when its a video! thanks for everything
Hmmm…video tutorials? I know, not original right…but still…that would be awesome to see you “in action”
THanks so much for all your sharing!!!!
~Lana B~
You’ve got some great tutorials…I just want to see more of those
You’re doing great. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
How can one improve on something that isn’t broken?! The daily tutorials you provide is so full of information and inspiration. There is nothing I could even imagine adding to such a wonderful blog.
Hello,
I love your work and tutorals. Honestly, I wouldn’t like to see anything different on your blog. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing. I really like the details of your tutorals and your willingness to share your ideas and georgous art work! Keep it up. Thanks, JIL
Keep bringin on the tutorials! We LOVE them!!!
I love viewing and learning from your tutorials! Your cards are quite unique and beautiful, and have inspired me to create my own. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!
Wow…I was just eyeing this set today. I’m glad that you don’t give away blog candy as a routine jesture. Coming back for more inspiration and tutorials is far better than looking for free stuff. With that said, I’d LOVE to have this free stuff.
More??? I think your site is great!!!!! I visit this site everyday and look at each page!!!
Jen
Like all of the others I’m head over heels for your blog. What more could we ask for? You’ve already given so generously of your time and talents. Your cards that use tree stamps are always favorites with me, so I’d love to see more of those
Sorry, no briljant ideas from me. I love your blog the way it is!
You are so sweet to offer up that gorgeous set!! You definitely don’t need “fake” traffic as your cards and tutorials are so awesome!!
I just want to keep seeing what you’ve already been showing - blow me away beautiful cards and awesome tutorials. Would love to see the video tutorials if you’re inclined to do it!
Your blog and artwork are so inspiring. I have been stamping for over 11 years and I learn so much from you. Your “eye” is amazing!
Can’t wait to see more.
Michelle, your tutorails are fantastic. What I’d like to see is you at my house giving me a personal demonstration! I’ve got two extra bedrooms, so you’d have plenty of room. Ha! Ha!
Seriously, you’re a fabulous artist, so just keep doing what you do best!
Have a terrific weekend - Regina
Your tutorials are wonderful. I like to see whatever you’re in the mood to create. Please keep it up!
Wow, Michelle, your tutorials are great. I love your cards. Thank you for sharing your creative genius. Keep on doing what you are doing. It’s great.
Thanks for the chance to win some neat blog candy.
Michelle, we all need to sleep in the morn. once in awhile. Yes, I’d rather have your
tutorials anyday. The video would be super. I seem to get lines when I brayer, not all the time, but just when I want it to come out good, it’s ooops! Maybe you can give me a few pointers.
Keep them coming. Love the tutorials and I too have got my hubby interested in looking. More help with getting the brayering without stripes and also how to get the wonderful colour blends you manage. Obviously have had lots of practice and have lots of colours to work with but skill and artistic flair in abundance.
I just recently found your blog and am in blog heaven, love your tutorials! You do awesome work.
There is many techniques I would love to learn if you have time for doing them. I love the step by step that you do and recently added you to my blog and a link.
Angel hugs

Hi Michelle:
Every morning the first thing I do is look at your tutorial. You do awesome work! Please keep on doing what you are doing. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. Please consider videotaping some sessions on your sponging and brayering technique.
Michelle,
Let me first say that I absolutely LOVE your work, how talented you are, AND that you’re so willing to share it with us! That is true talent…that you’re not so afraid to hoard the “know-how”….not that we could ever do as great as you, but…
To list something I would like to see in the future….I am truly drawing a blank. I have seen so many fabulous things that I have no idea what more to ask for! Except…hmmm….how do you make the brayer not have stripes? Maybe I missed something, LOL.
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win this set….I’ve been admiring it & WANTING it!!!
Thank you for parting with one of yours!
Keep all the fabulous work coming!
Hey Michelle, it seems like all I can do when I refer to you and your art is … gush!
You can’t improve on perfection so keep doing what you do so well… sharing your art, talent, techniques and even giving us a glimpse of your studio.
Love everything you do!!
Sue
Hi Michelle,
I’ve followed you since you just had a gallery on SCS and I was so happy you started your blog. It’s the first blog I hit everyday just to see what’s new. You’re a fabulous teacher and a wonderful artist. I’ve been enspired to give some of your ideas a try.
I couldn’t even begin to tell you want to teach next. I’m just so happy to see what great ideas you come up with.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us all.
I would like to see Johnny Depp-oh, he doesn’t live there? so maybe some photos of him?. At 2 AM with insomnia, I can’t really dream but I can surf.
Michelle, I love your blog and look at the feeds religiously everyday. A day without Michelle is like a day without sunshine. Your cards and ideas are fantastic and you have taught me so much with your step by step tutorials. I’ve pulled my brayer out of the drawer and have been using it again. So far, I made two cards from your tutorials (the one with the flowers and butterfly on a transparency and the other was the horse with the daisies) and I will be making more. I showed one of co-workers the flower and butterfly card and she bought it in a flash to use as her Mother’s Day card. It’s hard to improve something that is perfect, but I would love some videos. Also, maybe an section on frequently asked questions where it would be easier to look for answers to questions that we probably all have like how to clean your versa mark pen and what do you do to soften the horizon lines. Any information on basic must haves re color inks, brayers etc… would be great too. Thanks for this great opportunity and sharing your talent with us.
Your tutorials are so informative and easy to follow. I really want to et my brayer out when I have time to play. Thanks for sharing you expertise!
Thanks for sharing the blog candy! Those sentiments are perfect for difficult cards. I enjoy reading your tutorials and I think you’re so generous to share them for free!
All I can suggest is more of the same. I love your stamping style
Thanks, the tutorials are invaluable!
I look forward to each of your tutorials. They are fantastic!!!!!! The only thing that could possibly be any better would be a video tutorial. While sometimes the music is nice, I usually end up turning the sound off. I would really rather listen to the voice of the instructor. I have learned so much from your lessons (my cards still don’t look nearly as good as yours—but part of the fun is practicing!) Thanks for all you are doing for the stamping community.
Hi! I would love to see you make a card w/a batik effect using clear embossing powder…
your work w/clear embossing is amazing!!!
Well, I’m here visiting you everyday too, and you already know that you’re my hero! I agree..your blog IS the candy!
I really like your organizational tips as well as all of your tuts! Like you…I NEED to be organized, and your tips really help (cataloging and such)…so maybe a smidge more of that too?? BIG HUGS!
I just LOOOVE your work! Just keep on what you’re already doing!
I love your tutorials. They are so organized and simple to understand. Keep up the great work. I check in often. Thanks for the chance to win a great set.
You are so right, you don’t need to give away blog candy. you give us a gift almost every day.
I would really like to see a video on braying. mine never look good.
Improve on what you already have? How? Your tutorials are great!
I check out your blog daily so I don’t have to search for your SCS upload.
Keep up the great work!
I am new to your blog, but I love the tutorials — more brayer technique, please! Mine doesn’t blend like yours does.
Thanks!
Wendy
Michelle, your art is awesome!! I say keep doing what you’re doing!
I can’t imagine improving your blog! The photos of your work help to illustrate exactly what you do, your work is amazing, so inspiring… I’d keep coming to your blog, blog candy or no, what a treat to see you were offering some! Thanks for the chance to win!
I am new to your blog and your tuts are awesome.
I guess , like many have said , maybe a video tut.
I love your tutorials and can’t wait to see a video tutorial?!? Your cards are gorgeous and I even dug out my brayer to give some of your tutorials a try! Thanks for the inspiration!
I also agree with the other gals that suggested a video tutorial on brayering. You work is SO gorgeous and I visit your blog daily to see what gorgeous cards you come up with. You are an inspiration!
I was introduced to your site recently and LOVE IT!!!! You are a true artist and I love your work.
This set is great…. I love the stamp that says not to forget to take care of yourself. As women/mothers, we put everyone else before us and often forget to take care of ourselves. How else can we take care of others if were are not cared for! happy Mother’s day to you all.
I’m with everyone else - there’s not much you can do to improve your fantastic blog, but a video tutorial would be nice and I’d also like to know how you come up with so many great ideas. I just love coming here to see what you’ve come up with each day - and one of these days I might even try something myself!!!
You are queen of the brayer! Your cards are magic!
Thanks for a chance at winning some great stamps! I can’t really think of anything else I would like seeing on your blog…you are doing a great job describing everything step by step. Keep it up.
I’ve just recently found your site. I love your tutorials. They are easy to understand and I love the step by step pictures.
Hope I am the lucky number! I would love to use those flowers!
Cheers,
Hi Michelle,
I don’t have a clue why I haven’t seen your blog before, but I am going to be a daily lurker from now on!!! OMG you are so talented!! I have never been able to consistently shade and highlight correctly, usually just by accident. I LOVE how you show step by step instructions on how to add depth to your images! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Jen : )
Hello Michelle, Have a well deserved rest. I have always loved your tutorials. I know you have hinted about video, that would be nice; it would be like sitting in your living room watching step by step as you create each work of art. That would be as close as I would be able to able to receive a hands on instruction from you. I for one am blessed to be able to come to your blog each day and see what you have done and then attempt to create something close to it!!!! The stamp set is lovely!!! Thank you for offering it as candy.
Have a great weekend!!!
I really love that set. Keep it up with the tutorials, love them…Thanks for the awesome chance…
I was just turned on to your blog last week. I sit here absolutely amazed every evening. You are a true inspiration and so very generous for sharing your talent. I look forward to it every day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Your tutorial are excellent and I can’t think of any way to make them better. I know vidoes are good but a lot of people might have trouble getting them if there computers aren’t on high speed. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
I totally agree, a video of how you do it would be fab. I’m totally a visually show me girl! One thing more, how do you choose your colors when there’s so many to choose from? they go so well together? I really enjoy your tutorials, thanks so much for sharing
How generous of you ~ thanks!! I love to watch videos or step by step tutorials showing the coloring techniques.. so much fun ~ and to learn from a master of coloring.
thanks again, Pam
I adore your great cards. They have me thinking about my roller in a whole new way. They look like real works of art and the wonderful tutorials make it seem like something I can do.
It’s a good life!
Terri E.
You Rock, When I first found your blog I could not believe any one could do what you do with stamps, brayer, and ink. Your tutorials are great and I am learning to do better with a brayer. I like your tutorials because I can make a copy of them and study it as I am trying to do the same as you. Thank you Larie
I’ve only been following your blog for a short time but I’m so impressed (and overwhelmed) with your tutorials and the cards you create. I second what many have said so far, a video would be great to be able to see exactly how you are doing it. While the step by step is very good, I just can’t yet seem to get the hang of the brayering as well as you. Love your blog. Thank you.
Hello,
I love your tutorials and need help doing one small thing. ;o) I have tried the brayer technique and am doing something really wrong. I would love if you could show the best way to brayer.
Keep up the good work.
Luisa
OMG.. your blog is so awesome and your tutorials just plain rock. I would also like to see a tutorial on using the brayer and fun things you can do with that. I love all that you have already provided and constantly come back from inspiration. Thanks for offering the candy. It’s a wonderful thing…but just your talent and tutorials are enough to keep me coming back! Monica- Riverview, FL
Your blog is already one of the most informative around, so I don’t think you need to change a thing. Any part of the creative process you can share would be terrific! how you decide on colors, shading, improving brayering technique. I do think a FAQ section might help you not to repeat basic info every time.
I also love it when you use older retired sets, like Garden Collage. you give them new life!
Thanks for a chance to win an awesome set!
Hi Michelle!
I love your blog the way it is…just seeing your cards is plenty of inspiration to me, but I do find your tutorials helpful. I love how you use multiple techniques on every card & that the techniques you use daily vary! Keep up the good work. From the looks of it, many people find your blog inspiring as well. Thanks for the blog candy offering!
I love your tutorials and can’t wait to see what you do with this set.
We should be giving you gifts for all of your inspiration!! Love your art!
Keep up the good work. I love the tutorials. Variety is right.
Michelle
I love your blog. No one does brayered backgrounds the way you do. Your detail is amazing. Please just keep providing the beautiful, realistic looking backgrounds. Your color choices always amaze me, I’d never think to put some of them together to come up with the backgrounds that you do. The tutorials are so helpful and easy to understand.
Thanks for all you do…now get some sleep :0)
Lori D
I love how you sometimes use a stamp / ink colour / technique we have seen before but it looks totally different in the new card. So inspiring!
Hi Michelle,
I love your blog. The projects are amazing, your instructions well detailed and photographs effectively depict the various process steps. The two items that would enhance my experience on your blog are video with audio and secondly, some insight into your design thought process — how do you get started on a project, do you try out different colors, techniques prior to making the final….what goes on “behind the scenes”. Thats for all you do on your blog!
Wow great stamps. Thanks for the chance to win. I love your tutorials and would have to say that I just want them to continue. If nothing else ever happened that would be just fine as long as we can have a chance at creating your wonderful work by following your instructions.
Hi Michele! I like to see when you find a piece of art and try to duplicate it. Your tutorials are wonderful - you really make it so we can actually do what you do (sort of!!)
Michelle, you could not possibly be any more generous in nature than you have been!!! I love your tutorials!!! The first that I tried, Punched Vases, even looked mostly okay!!! and I am a right-brained craft challanged newbie!!! I will say that I love this stamp set for a different reason than most: I am in the middle of a “D” and it perfectly describes what I am feeling and the strength my friends and family are giving me!!! Thanks for all your inspiration!!!
Your artwork amazes me! I only found your tutorials recently and I visit everyday now to learn from you. I can’t say what I’d like to see because I am so awed by what I DO see already!
How did you get two stamp sets? Are you like me, and forget what you’ve bought already? I’m probably the only one to ever do that!
I was just looking at this stamp set the other day. It is truly a must have and is definitely on my wish list. It is very kind of you to offer it as a gift to your readers.
Thank you, for sharing your talents in such a constructive way. You are a great teacher and inspiration!
Regards,
Kelly M
I totally agree with you. I have been following your tutorials every time you post, thats enough for me to come here. Sleep tight
Yes it is a beautiful stamp
thanks for sharing your talents…I haven’t used my embossing powders much lately, any inspiration for those would be appreciated!
As if your tutorials aren’t enough already, now you are giving us Blog Candy? Woo Hoo! I can’t be very original when I say I would LOVE to see a video tutorial someday. You are so kind enough to even answer questions stampers post in the comments (like me…cuz I can’t brayer like you Ü), so I’m thinking a video would be the ultimate lesson.
Thank you for keeping me reaching for the stampin’ stars…..
Tracy
Just more of the same please. Your tuts are so detailed and easy to follow. And you are so kind to share with us. And what a wonderful stamp set!!!! Thanks for everything you do. DianeL
I’ve been meaning to write and tell you just how much I love your work! I only found your blog recently, thanks to a post on the Gingerwood stamping bulletin board but already I am so impressed with your artistic talent. What you do with rubber stamps is amazing! I signed up for your mailing list and your messages provide me with daily inspiration. I know you asked what we would like to see on your blog but all I can say is I’d like to see more of your wonderful work!
marie t
Wow!! Blog candy! The tutorials on your blog are candy for me. I eagerly await your daily tutorial delivered to my inbox. You have been such an inspiration to me. I love, love, love! your stuff. Thank you for everything.
Jennifer E.
I love all of your tutorials and have learned so much for them! You make beautiful cards! I wish you lived close to me so I could come over and take some hands on classes. That’s what you should do is have a retreat! TFS!
How fun! i was sooo excited to start getting your tutes as emails. The time it must take for you to share your creativity is awesome. I am envious of the way you see things. How you can take what you see and then re-create it is really inspiring. And you do it nearly every day!
I really appreciate it
thanks
Thanks for the wonderful step-by-step tutorials…..and please keep it up!
I’d like to see some tips on using the brayer. I would love to see more cards with flowers. Is there a video tutorial in the future?
I love all your tutorials, you are the best!!!!!! All I know is I love going to your Blog and I learn, learn and learn some more, Thank you for all your tutorials. RoRo
I just love your tutorials!! I have used many of your ideas and always look forward to seeing what you come up with next. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us less fortunate ones
Best wishes,Vicki
I love your blog just as it is. I had to unsubscribe from the blogs I read as it was just too time consuming, but yours is one of the very few I kept. I love your tutorial, they are amazing. Thanks for all your hard work!
I’ve really enjoyed the tutorials you have available here. So many times it is hard to know what all the steps are that created those masterpieces. Then when you show how to create your cards, I realize that I could make that too. You give lots of inspiration! Thanks for the opportunity to win a really nice stamp set!
I am like so many others, have just started viewing your site. Wondering what all I have missed. Love, Love, Love what you do and appreciate your kindness in explaing to others so we may attempt to case anything you make. You have a wonderful talent and appreciate that you use it for your enjoyment and sharing with others. I enjoy your tutorials, have learned many things from them. Is there a trick to using the brayer and getting results like yours? Just visiting your site is blog candy. Someone will be very happy to receive the stamps. Thank you for all you do.
Hi, Michelle…..your tutorials are sos very detailed that even I think I could follow them….and one of these days I’m definitely going to try! I’d like to see your message in my inbox email with a subject in the subject area—-I’m always suspicious at first until I remember who you are! Thanks for the lovely blog candy…..
Thanks for the offer of a beautiful set, Michele!
I especially appreciate the “art” aspect of your stamping & that we can learn how to create art this way as well, via your very explicit tutorials. I’m going to demonstrate your “punched pots” card at our upcoming stamp club & I think the ladies will be thrilled with the artistic results of your very simple technique!
I love everything I’ve seen on your blog. I love your cards and tutorials. Thank you so much for the inspiration!! And also, thank you for the chance to win a really nice beautiful stamp set!
Michelle, you do not need to change anything. I love your tutorials, and I appreciate the time and effort that you do to bring them to us. Thank You…….and please keep them coming. I have learned so much from you, and I love your style. You have sooo much talent and I am so glad that you share it with all of us………..
Evelynn
A friend turned me on to your blog about a month ago! I then shared it with a couple other girlfriends. I think your blog is incredible as it is and you have inspired me to go get my brayer out. I haven’t had the time yet to actually put the inked brayer to paper but it’s sitting by, just waiting for me … and some time. Michelle, I really liked your “Everything Old is New Again”. More of something along this line would be nice. I love your technique and I think you rank right up there with Beate! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Blessings to you and yours.
Without a DOUBT-Your tutorials are AWESOME! The things that you create totally look very DIFFICULT-but the way you walk us through all the STEPS-You make it a SNAP (okay-maybe not a snap-but even I can get through it). I say-KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING….but……GIVE US MORE! Love your work-and think you are one talented cardmaker. Now….Pick ME-PICK ME-PLEASSSSE-Pick Me. Best of luck to everyone PLAYING! Thanks again! Kadie
I absolutely love your tutorials!! You do such beautiful artistic cards. I wish I could do what you do. Thanks for sharing your art with us.
Hi Michelle,
I too join with everyone to commend you on a super blog and tutorial site! I just love your cards and have learned so much from you. If I could come up with one suggestion, it would be to demo different techniques. Maybe you could give a tutorial on a different stamping technique once a week, such as coloring with crayons, watercolors, markers, alcohol inks, etc. I know I would be hanging on your every word! Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.
You have inspired many people with your detailed tutorials. I love seeing each of your posts. All I can see is keep up the great work and thank you for sharing your art!
I am only a recent subscriber to your wonderful site. Your work is stunning and your tutorials are so easy to follow. Please keep up the good work. You really have an incredible site.
I so enjoy reading and visually seeing HOW you make all of your awesome cards. I get stumped by which colors blend well together……so visually seeing your process is so wonderful for me! You really do work magic with your brayer- and we are so fortunate you are so giving in sharing your talent with us! Can’t wait to see what you make next!!! Oh- please enter me for blog candy!!!
It is such a treat to see what you come up with. Your cards truly inspire me to stretch and grow as stamper. I am also a quilter. could you try something with fabric incorporated into your cards? Keep up the good work!
I love the tutorials you do. It’s so great to see the pictures of each step. Your blog is so good now, I don’t know what you could add! I kind of prefer the pictures to video because I can stare at a picture to decide what I need to know but might have to watch a video several times in order to see the same thing. The only thing better would be to have both.
Thank you for the chance to win this wonderful set!
Your tutorials are amazing…clear explanations (that I understand!) and great pics! I’m so glad you don’t do just videos, because some of us with our ancient computers and slow speed internet are not able to watch them!!
I would absolutely LOVE to win this stamp set! Pick me Russ!! Thanks for the chance!
~Brenda H.
Hi Michele,
Every day I look forward to seeing what you have done to inspire and delight us, and I have not been disappointed. Your work is so different from the work we see on others’ blogs, and it is awesome. I love the way your tutorials simplify your masterpieces into works that I feel I could achieve, and I have loved trying my hand at your style of art. I would love you to explain about shading please. If I am trying to work on something by myself, I find myself being very inconsistent with shading my work, and I wondered if there are any rules of thumb, or tips which you could give us please. Thank you so much for sharing your work with everyone. Anne.
I would like anything about colour and colour combinations, also tips about layout and design. You do it all so well. I love the saturation that you get and that you seem to use the basics and not all the latest gadgets.
Cheers,
Shirley in sunny Queensland Australia
I love visiting your blog every day. Your tutorials are as amazing as your creations. I truly appreciate the time it must take for you to post them. You have such unique ideas that i couldn’t even think of something that i would want to see! I prefer the pictures over a video however if you ever sell DVD’s (which I think you could sell a lot of!) I’d buy them!! Harriet
Well, honestly I have to live vicariously through your talent and website. Since a friend suggested your site to me, I faithfully visit to see your newest creations. The only thing I would suggest is you come to my home and do my cards for me!!
You are very talented- please keep us amazed.
Junebug
I still love seing the tutorials. I know videos are good, but sometimes a lot can’t view a video for ISP slowness.. so I think the tutorials will serve everyone well. Love to see the landscape type cards you do, with a single focal point (bird, animal, etc)… Keep up the gorgeous work!!
Hi Michelle
I love all your tutorials. You are amazing, such talent.
I have a problem with shading and putting colors together.
I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for providing tutorials. That must take a lot of your time. It is so greatly appreciated. I always look forward to your emails.
Take care
Rae
Michelle your tutorials are beautifully done. They are very clear and I just love when you post a new card. As someone else mentioned, maybe a video tutorial would be nice, just to see the artist in action.
Ter:)
I lover your blog. I’ve subscribed to it and look forward to the updates, the beautiful cards and the tutorials are much appreciated.
Sleeping in never hurt anyone..
Thank you and keep stampin’!
Lynda
Your blog is amazing! I don’t know how you do it! I would love to see you use more Stampin Up sets if you have them.
Michelle, I just discovered your blog about 4 days ago and already it is one of my favorites! I have read the entire thing over and over again. What can you do to improve it? Just give us more of what you are doing. I know others would agree that you could post 20 cards and tutorials a day and we would not tire of them!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us - my cards are already starting to look a step above what they were last week because of you!
I like your tutorials! They are great for a beginning stamper/cardmaker, although I don’t always have the right supplies to creat a similar card.
Greetings from sunny Belgium, Annelies
WOW
I just found your blog……after a little blog surfing.
I will be coming back regularly as your designs are brilliant!
Thanks,
