Hello Michelle. This is an awesome tutorial and guess what I just bought yesterday? Yeah. A new brayer! You've given me my first project. I came her from "A Crafting Journey" and I thank you so much for sharing your technique!

Here is a link to my version of this tutorial. Thanks Michelle! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=10233

If you are having trouble with your brayer making too much of a line you might want to cheat a little bit by rolling the very edge of your brayer off on a piece of scratch paper before you go to your card stock. Just tilt the brayer to one edge (the edge that will hit the CS first) and lightly roll it one full revolution. Then keep a light hand and barely kiss the paper when you start.

another beauty! Thank you so much for the tutorials.
I have tried one sponging card like yours...and love it. Have to try some more!
TFS
Here is my attempt on my blog...
http://stampingandscrappin.typepad.com/susan_farrant/2008/06/colour-challene-cc170-zindorf-style.html
any tips would be appreciated..LOL

Maybe I need darker shading on the edges?

Question...when you were brayering this card did you brayer from where the brayer is laying or from the other bottom edge and lift before reaching the top of the card?
Thanks
