Announcement! I’m Going To Austin, Texas!
Good Morning! I just got the word, I’m scheduled to teach Brayer workshops in Austin, Texas on September 20th & 21st. I can’t wait to meet you Texans! I know there are a lot of you too. So if your interested contact: Lisa Itatani at litatani@pacbell.net or flatfishpaperarts.blogspot.com
Lydia from Texas will be hosting me. Visit her blog which is too funny at www.understandblue.blogspot.com
Also, there are a couple of spots left for the Dayton, Ohio Brayer workshops on September 6th. Here is a great link to that workshop info with pictures of the projects: http://marcopaper.com/classzindorf.htm
For more workshop dates and places check out the workshop calendar at the top of this blog.
Also, I really need to share a little something special. I received this picture from a very proud Grandmother. Her soon to be eight year old grandson, Noah created this using one of my tutorials. His Grandmother is not the only one proud! Way to go Noah!!!
I promise to have a tutorial up tomorrow morning along with the blog candy winner for this week.
Until my next post. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face!
Hugs,
Michelle

Woohoo Phyllis! I can’t wait to meet you!
I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL YOU GET HERE!! Those projects on the Marco Paper site are HEARTSTOPPERS!!
And are you kidding me with this 8 year old? That is amazing!!!!!!!! That is one talented child. How cool.
Take care girl – we will have a blast when you’re here!
I so wish I lived near one of these classes you are teaching. *sighs*
I am awed by the talent of Noah. Wow.
I just had to say thank you for posting this card. He did a wonderful job. My kids love to create with me, but it usually there own designs…lol
What a great job that little guy did! Well, I was so excited to hear you were coming to Texas (where I live), but that faded when I heard it was Austin – about 7 hours from me! Oh well, one day you may be closer!
Peggy, I really forget sometimes just how big Texas is.
What a great job that 8 year old boy did. Let him keep creating. Wish I lived in Austin or Dayton!
Michelle, I really would like a tutorial on the Palm trees used in the Marco Polo. I have to do a swap with Pine trees and trying to figure out how you did them with the water to the left looking so real. It’s a really great picture. Thanks
Sandy asked “I really would like a tutorial on the Palm trees used in the Marco workshop?”
Sorry Sandy, but I won’t be doing any tutorials on the projects I use in my workshops.
Michelle, isn’t it wonderful how you inspire all ages! What a tribute to your talent! Thanks for all your helpful tutorials. Will you be coming near Nebraska anytime soon? It’s lovely here in the midwest and I think you need to see it
Hi Michelle I don’t suppose you’d want to visit western Canada? LOL Its really nice here, well except in the winter, which I guess in some parts is 7 months of the year!!
Terri & Dawn, I would sure love to come to Nebraska and to Canada. Do you know of someone or a stamp store that could host me? They would need a work space that could accomodate 8 people. If so, contact Lisa Itatani at litatani@pacbell.net or flatfishpaperarts.blogspot.com.
I would sure like to me you!
WOW! Noah’s card is fantastic! I hope he’s proud of himself, because this is wonderful! You should be proud, too, Michelle… this is testimony to how wonderful your tuts are, and how clear and the directions…. Looks like I’ll have to go visit Marcos Papers to check out your artwork, lol! It didn’t occur to me that the places where you are scheduled to teach would have your great stuff to look at! (Even if it’s clear on the other side of the country from me, I can still look!)
Hugs,
Betsy
Thank you, Michelle for inspiring him and you must know I have a great big smile on

Way to go Noah! Great job. I think you mentioned the possibility of a trip to Colorado at some point? Is that still a possibility? We are having a wonderfully rainy day here today – we really need it! I hope you can make it to Colorado! ~chris
amazing work for an eight year old. Some people areborn with an artisitc eye.
Good work, Noah!
Texas is further from MN than Ohio. That’s not a goodsign.
Lucky Texans.

Michelle, a bunch of us on the group with Noah’s grandma encouraged her to share this with you. She has sent other items he has done, this is truly one talented little boy. You have definitely made grandma’s day, and when Noah sees this he will be so excited. Thanks Kim
