For years I was strictly s SU kinda a gal. But for the past few months the images Inkadinkado has put out have put a dent in my stamp budget. They are just so fun I have to have them. That said I will go back to Su for my favorite Autumn image, it is the acorn in the Fall Whimsey set. Acorns are just so cute.

My favorite Autumn image is also trees in all those beautiful colors of gold, reds, oranges, and browns. I just love the mountain scenes in the fall with all the gorgeous colored trees. Just love your blog and read it religiously every day. Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful creations.

  11. Jan Gon 18 Sep 2008 at 6:30 am

I love this set, the way you used the tree and the leaves blowing away on the ground reminds me of the smell and feel of fall. Don’t get much of that here in NE Florida. You are so creative Michelle, I admire your creative.

My favorite autumn image is the leaves that have turned red and orange and then the setting sun “kisses” the tree with a glorious burst of light! My favorite time of the year… thanks for all your tutorials.

  14. Anna Don 18 Sep 2008 at 7:01 am

I love seeing trees with their last few leaves clinging onto branches and below there lies a carpet full of wonderful rustic colours.

  15. Kimboon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:02 am

    Michelle–
I love leaves in autumn! Although I may love them slightly less after all the chainsawing and raking I did yesterday to clean up my yard after the hurricane force winds we had here in the Cincinnati area over the weekend!!! Have fun in Austin–looking forward to your Monday tutorial.
    Kim

  16. Wendy Swenneon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:04 am

Wow, great tutorial and a great blog candy!

What I love about autumn is the different colors on the trees and fallen leafes on the street.
Yesterday I picked up some leaves with the kids from work and we made stamps from it. We painted the leaved and stamped them on a big piece of paper. Just lovely. And the fun thing is that every stamped image is different.

  17. Adrianeon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:04 am

My new favorite Fall stamp is one by Karen Lockhart, it is witches clothes on a clothesline. When I saw it on her website I just had to have it…lol! I just love your blog, thank you for keeping such a great blog and for sharing your knowledge so freely.

  18. bunnyon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:04 am

My fave autumn image would be trees and leaves! Thank you for the chance :)

  19. Phyllison 18 Sep 2008 at 7:07 am

Well, how to tell what my favorite Autumn image is ummmmm (me thinking). I just finished a cross stitch project that has leaves, pumpkins and fall squashes. It still lacked something and then it dawned on me; I needed the look of the wind swirling the leaves. That russeling noise the leaves make as they skidder across the ground! There just isn’t anything that can invoke images of autumn in one’s mind like the image of a fall leaf floating down a trickling stream. So, I’d have to say leaves too, only my favorite kinds are the ones that are moving by wind or water.

  20. Randaon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:10 am

    Michelle,

My favorite fall image is the changing of the leaves. I love driving thru the mountains and seeing all the beautiful rusts, reds, yellows, golds, greens, oranges and browns.

Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us, and for blog candy as well!

    Randa

  21. Acieon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:12 am

I love Autumn! Maybe because i was born in Autumn? Who knows. I love the tree branches when the leaves start to fall, I really love to see the seasons change. I like the early dark nights too :)

  22. Debbieon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:17 am

My favorite fall image has been captured in your beautiful cards, falling leaves, just love your style

  23. Julieon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:19 am

I love stamping the fall colors Michelle…my most used image, must be my favorite would be leaves. Love watching your site and that you share your knowledge…keep on stampin’.

  24. Kerryon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:21 am

My favourite autumn image is a photo I have of my daughter at around the age of one and a half, together with our cat, sitting in a pile of gorgeous autumn leaves. It was taken in Christchurch, New Zealand, which is a garden city and beautiful at any time of year, but particularly in spring and autumn.

Many thanks for the wonderful creations and tutorials you do, Michelle, they are so inspiring. I look every day to see if there is something I feel brave enough to tackle!

  25. Stephanie C.on 18 Sep 2008 at 7:24 am

    Michelle,

My favorite fall image by far is the drive to our house in the mountains during Fall! So many leaves, so many beautiful colors. You definitely captured that image in your latest tutorial! It looks just like my front lawn does now! We are already experiencing changing leaves out there, I guess because of lack of water (so the locals tell me!)

  26. Debbieon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:24 am

Hi Michelle! Oh, I can’t believe you’re giving away that stamp set…You’re so generous to us! How I would love it hehehe :-) I love the beautiful card you made with it, I will have to search it out, I’ve never seen that brand of stamps around here.

My favourite fall image is piles of colourful leaves, and hand knit sweaters (I’m a knitter), fall is when it’s just the perfect weather for sweaters but before you need a coat! :-D

  27. Amy McNultyon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:24 am

Autumn is my favorite time of year– I love everything about it! I grew up near the Poconos and now I live near the Smokies, I am definitely a mountain girl! And I married a beach bum! But I digress…. The most iconic fall image for me is a pumpkin patch. Beautiful fat pumpkins in the dirt, a brilliant blue sky above, and colorful red and yellow trees in between.

  28. Darlene (SCS: akronstamperdpk)on 18 Sep 2008 at 7:25 am

Michelle … you just keep getting better and better!!! Love ALL you do!! My favorite fall image of course would have to be … all the trees in color. Over in western Pennsylvania where I am originally from, there was an expressway cut through a huge wooded area and when the leaves are in color, everyone slows down going over the bridge to catch a glimpse of the beautiful rainbow of color on either side for as far as the eye can see until it just blends into the blue skies. When the sun shines down through this valley it is just breathtaking!!!
Thanks for the chance on this blog candy!!

  29. Lindaon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:28 am

I love that the tree as in your card. I can see it being versatile ~ not just for fall. I’m getting a Valentines visual for it. Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

    lindastamps at gmail dot com

  30. Edieon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:29 am

    How generous of you!

My favorite image is one of two - a forest of colored trees reflected in a river or a lake or a rural road covered in fallen leaves with some still on the trees.
    It just invites a walk!

    Good luck to all!

  31. Vicki - Michiganon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:29 am

  36. Lindaon 18 Sep 2008 at 7:50 am

Fall is my favorite season. I love the feeling of the air in the fall, the light as it falls low over the golden colors, the aspens as they glow yellow in the dark pines.

  45. Lisa Robbon 18 Sep 2008 at 8:24 am

I would have to say that the tree in this card http://digitalfox.blogspot.com/2008/09/lovely-as-tree.html from the SU Set Lovely as a Tree in these colours would have to be my favourite Autumn image. I totally love your tutorials and your blog!

Thanks for the opportunity to win this fabulous stamp set.

  47. Annieon 18 Sep 2008 at 8:37 am

As always, you amaze me with your talent. My favorite fall stamp is the flying witch you used last week. I’m frustrated that I haven’t been able to locate it at any retailer in my area. Anyhow, I really like the “cascading leaves” in this set. I think it really looks like leaves that have been blown across a field (or lawn). Keep inspiring me!

  48. Denise Bryanton 18 Sep 2008 at 8:38 am

I love all the fall colors too….. Pumpkins are a favorite to feature on a fall card. Thanks for your tutorials. I really enjoy looking at your blog.
    DeniseB

  49. Katieon 18 Sep 2008 at 8:39 am

Well, I’ve always liked leaves for autumn images…I’m not picky as to companies, but the last few weeks I’ve really been drawn to pumpkins. Especially the really sketchy looking pumpkins….I don’t know why?!? I think it’ll pass, but I might need to buy a pumpkin before it goes away! lol

Your tutorials are always wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing all that you do!
    Cheers,
    Katie

  50. Melon 18 Sep 2008 at 8:42 am

I love the 3 pumpkin stamp you used on one of you tut’s. I have it and have used it in quite a few different cards. The flourishes around it make it special. I was going to run out at lunch yesterday to pick up the stamps you have for Candy today, and as usual got to busy at work to go out. Maybe that was an omen and I will win!!! LOL. As always love to see what you created everyday. And very amazed you get up at 4 am to do it.

My favorite autumn image is the colours the leaves turn on the trees. If you really look there is every warm colour imaginable from cream and pale lemon through pinks and orange to deep reds and burgundy. It’s like all the heat of the summer is escaping and a last promise that life will return after winter is over. Love that stamp set, hope I am lucky enough to win it.

Wow those stamps (and your card) are so gorgeous!!! Have a wonderful time in Austin, I’m so jealous! We usually head that way this time of year for the Austin City Limits Music Festival but due to the rising cost of airline tickets we had to take a pass this year. Go have a Margarita at Baby Acapulco’s for me!!!

  75. Marilynon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:43 am

I grew up in Maryland and every Fall we would go to the Shanendoah Valley to look at the color changes in the trees and landscape.

We would stop at this country store 1/2 way up the winding path and get a good tall glass of APPLE CIDER - freshly made and full of rich apple flavor. This was a tradition in our family.

As a teenager, my friends and I would camp in The Valley to enjoy the color show and the brisk weather.

I live in Texas now and the trees do change colors, but it doesn’t beat the orchestrated display of The Valley - God’s greatest masterpiece!

So my favorite images- trees and leaves! We own a tree farm in Magnolia, Texas. Hurricane Ike didn’t take that away {high five wave} Marilyn

  76. Danelleon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:43 am

I really love Fall! One of my favorite things to do is set up our Fall display on the front porch. It’s nothing hugely ornate or anything, but just fun and festive. There are a couple of hay bales, a corn stalk or two, and bunches of pumpkins and gourds - some with ribbons tied around the stems. I love it! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful tutorials, and for offering this very cool Autumn stamp set. So fun!!

  77. joztrvlnon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:44 am

I have an unmounted stamp of pumpkins that I seem to use over and over in the Fall. It is simple but elegant and I love it. Unfortunatley, I don’t know the maker.

  78. Marilynon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:46 am

    Oops! correction needed: Shenandoah Valley.
We would drive from Maryland to Virginia every Fall.
It was a special trip, full of history, colorful scenery and apple cider of course!

I would have to say my favourite would be pumpkins!
Thank you for the chance to win!

  92. Pat Dorseton 18 Sep 2008 at 10:14 am

My favorite fall image is the farmers stands with all of the apples, pumpkins, gourds and corn stalks. For stamping my favorite stamp is one with corn stalks, pumpkins and gourds, just like in real life. I guess art does imatate life.

  93. Lindaon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:16 am

I have a Fred Mullett stamp of a Japanese maple leaf that I have used repeatedly. The set from Inkadinkado you used really caught my attention though, I love the last few leaves clinging on and the flourish of branches

  94. Diane O.on 18 Sep 2008 at 10:19 am

Not sure what you mean by favorite fall image but here’s my answer. I like colored leaves in real life and as stamps. The stamps can work for spring or fall based on the inks you use. In fall I love the change of color and all the reds, oranges and yellows.

  95. Mandy Kon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:21 am

Some of my favorite fall images are of little kids in costumes!

  96. Gwylanon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:28 am

I love tree images of all kinds for fall. The one on this Inkadinkado set looks wonderful. Your tutorials helped me discover a very dynamic approach to stamping. Thank you.

    Hi Michelle,
I’m vacationing at the lake and finally got to a computer. My favourite fall image is the colour of the leaves on the trees with many leaves on the ground. Then I love to walk through the leaves and listen to the sound and smell the leaves. Love all the cards you’ve made for the past week and a half. I’d love to win that gorgeous stamp set. :D Take care,
    Trish

  98. Chrison 18 Sep 2008 at 10:33 am

Thank you for the beautiful, inspiring creations! I love fall, too. I especially love the maple trees with the bright orange, gold and red leaves. They are absolutely beautiful!

  99. Sandyon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:33 am

My favorite image is of trees with all the beautiful colors. Fall is so very much my favorite time of year. It’s almost like Mother Nature is at peace and sharing with all of us. I love your site and drool every day. I have a brayer that isn’t loved at all-totally lost as to how I should use the thing even after looking at your site. Congrats!

I love anything with colorful leaves — a single leaf, a pile of leaves, a tree with leaves, leaves blowing in the wind. I could go on and on. :)

  101. Deb Neermanon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:35 am

Like you, I love fall trees! But beautiful cornicopias, or plump pumpkin images are fun to use this time of year too!

LOVE your card … so rich colored and beautifully laid out!

    TFS!

Your tutorials are amazing you are one very talanted lady. My favourite fall image is leaves, they can be so many different colours in fall as opposed to the green in spring and summer. Thank you for this opportunity it is very generous of you.

  104. Christineon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:38 am

I love watching the leaves slowing drift off the trees. Just a nice lazy float to the ground.

  105. Katie Mon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:39 am

Blowing leaves, swirling, twirling and dancing through the air. And your brayered cards! I just love your style.

  106. Paulaon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:45 am

Leaves, leaves and more leaves. I miss home so much this time of year. I grew up on a farm in Southern Indiana where it is really hilly (unlike most of Indiana). Behind our farm house is a beautiful tree that is back by the wood pile. It is always the most gorgeous bright orange this time of year. And, what makes it more beautiful is when the sun sets, it shines on that tree first and it just lights up…Oh, how I miss home. I may cry a little but at least I know my mom is on her way here to visit me right now.

Thanks for sharing your great work!

  107. Besseyon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:46 am

Whew Michelle, I would love to win this blog candy, so myself and 2 of my friends could make that card you did with the leaves. Oh, what fun that would be. I can see so many uses for this set. Thanks for giving me a chance to win and have some fun.

  108. Susan Bon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:51 am

My favorite fall image is leaves. I love autumn with its palette of gold, red, orange, brown and yellow. There is a huge tree on the street where I grew up which is absolutely the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. In the fall the leaves all turn a flaming red/orange that can be seen from every house on the block. That tree is Mother Nature at her finest. Thanks for the chance to win this great new set of stamps!

  109. Peachon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:51 am

Being from NM my favorite fall memory is of green chile roasting and hot air balloons up in the air preparing for the Internation Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque in early October. The smell of the green chili, the crisp fall air and beauriful hot air balloons are always on my mind.

  110. Laura N.on 18 Sep 2008 at 11:00 am

Can I have two favorite autumn images?? :-) I love pumpkins and leaves. Its alot of fun to stamp leaves and color them all the different autumn colors possible, blending and shading. Pumpkins are fun to colour and shade too.
Thanks for the most wonderful website, you truly are an artist and very inspiring. I tried some of your tutuorials recently, and although mine are’nt quite up to par with yours (very far from par actually, lol) I was still pleased with my results and know each card I attempt will only get better. :-)

I love to look at the gorgeous colors of leaves on the trees. We live in the Southwest now, so I don’t get to see the beauty of Autumn as I used to, but we’ll be visiting family soon, so I’m looking forward to truly experiencing the season again.

  117. Annaon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:19 am

LOVE these stamps…especially that tree. It made me smile as soon as I saw your card yesterday. It is so whimsical and happy looking doing it’s own thing as it blows in the wind.
Thanks for all your tutorials! I’ve been sort of in a creative block lately, and all your wonderful colors and cards have gotten me back to playing with my inks.
Hope you have a wonderful day…we can actually ALMOST feel a bit of fall in the air today in Central FL. Well I could this morning…LOL it is probably scorching hot out there by now!

  118. Wendy Schwarzon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:20 am

Hey Michelle! I hope you’re all cleaned up from the storm Sunday night. I live in a community just west of Cleveland and we got hit pretty hard, too. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your creations every day. I’ve purchased many products you’ve used so I can recreate your amazing artwork. I’m now a prismacolor marker junkie! I have every intention of getting the fall season stamp set, as I loved your card and I love anything nature inspired, so it would be really awesome to win it!! I’m going to go along with the crowd — my favorite autumn image is a leaf. Doesn’t matter what kind although I have to admit I love the more detailed ones. It’s so much fun blending different colors to come up with new combinations. I don’t fool with Mother Nature but I surely try to imitate her.

  133. Judyon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:35 am

Michelle, my favorite Fall image is leaves in all the brilliant colors of red, orange and gold! It’s kind of funny because I’m living in the Arizona desert right now and I don’t get to experience that beautiful change of season that Autumn brings. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to win this lovely stamp set from Inkadinkado!

Well, since I live in Sunny, all green year round Southwest FLorida, I never get to enjoy the fall and I miss it from when I lived in Indiana for 2 years. The only way I can enjoy it is to stamp it and make my own fall to look at or watch it on tv. lol
I love the colors of the leaves. Please add me for the blog candy.
    thanks, DeAnna
Absolutely beautiful card by the way!!!

My favorite fall image is a hillside covered with Oak and Maple and Hickory trees all turning beautiful colors of red gold and rust.

  137. Suzanneon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:37 am

I love the fall leaves. In Texas we don’t see much of the beautiful colors as the leaves turn. They are green then they are brown. So, I really enjoy the golds and oranges and yellows elsewhere. I have been so inspired by your blog and I have been working on my brayering technique. It’s not very good yet, but I have hopes that if I practice enough it will begin to look like it flows better. Thanks for sharing your technique and insights!

Autumn is my favorite season. i love that it gets darker earlier - and i remember when my boys were young - having my husband come home from work - it’s dark - the house is lit by lamps ..good smells coming from the kitchen - it just felt cozy and warm and safe…we all were home..having good food..good time at the table.. also when i lived in New jersey i loved seeing pumpkins and scarecrows on front porches. oh - there are just so many things about autumn that i love.
thank YOU for the opportunity to get this lovely stamp set.

Fall is great! thanks for a chance to win some awesome stamps. I love your blog, but my creations never quite look as good as yours do….maybe if i keep practicing!

  147. SueBeeon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:43 am

My favorite autumn images involve Halloween images - Like the Best Fiends set from Stampin Up - I really like the whimsicality of that se tbecause takes me back to the fun of my childhood. I really love your fall tree and I was nearly converted to the typical fall image of orange, red and brown leaves blowing in the wind as a favorite image. But then my mind remembered my cute little fiends and how sad they would be if I abandoned them as my favorite.

  148. Kelley Ton 18 Sep 2008 at 11:43 am

The changing colors of the trees and the “perfect” temperatures are my favorite fall things. I used to live in MA and LOVED this time of year. Now that I live in the south, it’s one of the things I miss the most. But I still treasure the baking, family time and great food of fall! Thanks, Michelle!

Hi Michelle, everytime I think of fall, I think of going through the appalacian mountains in october. what’s so unusual is that I am desert rat, born and raised in AZ. to me fall meant it is finally getting cool, and brown leaves. several years ago we went back to washington DC and the surronding area. this was in october. the leaves were brillant orange, and dark red, and gold! I was amazed!!! I kept having my hubsand stop so I could pick some of these leaves and bring them home to my children! I couldn’t imagine the beauty. I t was wonderful……

    thanks for letting me share

Oh it is such a toss up! If pressed, I would have to say the maple leaf only to be followed closely by the acorn. I *LOVE* autumn!!!

  182. Claireon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:10 pm

My facorite thing about fall is the changing colours of the leaves but funny enough my favorite image is pumpkins.

Wow Michelle! The things you are doing with this set are absolutely STUNNING! I love them all!

  199. Michelle Ballettion 18 Sep 2008 at 12:19 pm

I think the fall colors on the east coast, like in Connecticut (sorry if I spelled that wrong) is so beautiful. I’ve never personally seen it but I’ve seen pictures, and OMG, so beautiful!! But I would have to say that the snowy trees where my parents live is the most beautiful. There is a road that leads from Arnold to Dorrington, one lane each way, with a huge mountain on one side and trees for miles on the other and when it snows it’s just gorgeous!

  200. Heidion 18 Sep 2008 at 12:19 pm

My favorite image is leaves, all shapes, sizes, blowing in the breeze, all colors. As long as I don’t have to rake them, I like them. Thanks for offering the blog candy.

My favorite autumn image is pumpkins! I have to admit, I’m going to have to break down and order this set from Inkadinkado (unless I’m lucky enough to win the blog candy). Your cards are fabulous, as always!

Thank you so much for your easy to follow instruction and of course your beautiful cards.

I love autumn because the temps become cooler here in the rocky mountains. Our fall colors contrast with the green of the pine trees. We have the brightest golden colored aspens. Karen

Michelle ~ that is so cool of you. We moved last year and we went from a suburb of Cleveland with very few trees, to a wee bit south of Cleveland and on our property a a ton of trees…to my husband’s dismay! hee-hee :) This whole past year I enjoyed watching the season’s change from the comfort of my favorite couch with my special blend of coffee (w/a little Bailey’s). I can’t wait for this year!

  210. Nicole Kowalkon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:26 pm

I love this set! Inkadinkado has really been outdoing themselves lately - I can’t get enough of their images!

My favorite autumn images - blowing leaves in fall colors and pumpkins with lots of vines.

I just had to tell you how much I look forward to your blog updates every day! You are such an inspiration. My favorite image for autumn is the brilliant fall colours on the trees! I love trees at any time of year for their interesting structure and texture, but particularly in autumn. I also love the wonderful “earthy” fragrance of autumn. I would love to win this beautiful stamp set. You are so very generous!

    Michelle,
My favorite image is a pumpkin done by PSX in 1995. Every year I drag this stamp ut and it’s like I’ve never used it before. I simply love the image. My only regret is that I can’t use it year around. Thank you for the super tutorials. I’ll be in a class if you make it to Colorado Springs. Love the blog candy too!

Michelle, thanks so much for sharing so much of your time and art with us. I am always excited to see your update in my inbox. It is always the first one I go to. So excited to see what you have come up with each time. I appreciate your offer of the blog candy. I love this set, especially the curly tree, lol. I live in Florida so we don’t get alot of “fall” images, or colors, so I always tend to make cards with the fall leaves and colors on them. I guess down here the colors of fall are the marching band uniforms that we see our kids wear for the football games and band competitions during marching season. Ours being blue and gold, lol. Thanks for you again for all you do.

  215. Leanneon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:32 pm

I love fall leaves. The colors are so beautiful. We don’t really have a fall season here so I have to stamp “fall” if I want to see all those gorgeous colors.

  216. Susanon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:33 pm

My favorite stamp images at this time of year are anything to do with leaves, sunflowers, trees and pumpkins. I love the rich, varied colors of this season. I would love this stamp set. Thank you so much for your blog tutorials and these offers.

  219. Lorion 18 Sep 2008 at 12:36 pm

I love the fall colors best of all. A close second is pumpkins. The colors of fall and pumpkins is so welcoming and cozy and wonderful warm times. They really remind me of how blessed I am with family, friends, and to live in this great country. God bless our troops!

  220. Bettson 18 Sep 2008 at 12:37 pm

Leaves! Leaves and more leaves! I have around 150 stamps of leaves and a drawer full of punches that are leaves. I probably like the shape of Oak first and then Maple. I love to make them the gorgeous Autumn colors with dashes of metallic. My grandaughter just made me a card and she used nothing but leaves cuz she knows how much I love them. I really dig this last card you made cuz you have leaves and a tree with leaves on it. Gorgeous!

    Hi Michelle,
For somebody moving here from Romania , fall is my favorite time of the year!
I was driving through Ohio last weekend ( I had to attend a workshop with my favorite artist you know….) and all those corn fields reminded me of home.
Then Sunday afternoon one of my friends invited me over for coffee and it was a pumpkin flavor coffee !!!! my GOD out of this world.
So for somebody born in the fall I guess this season is my favorite - baked apples , caramel dip, pumpkin pie and take it easy !!!
Have a blast in Texas !!!
    Gabriela

There isn’t a fall stamp I’ve met that I don’t like!! Fall is my favorite time of year. Can be halloween, thanksgiving or fall anything! I love the fall whimsy from Su and many many more from other companies as well!

  224. Patti Pon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:40 pm

I LOVE this stamp set. I have been thinking about buying it for a while, but if I win it, that would be even better.

My favorite autumn image is leaves…of any kind. They are so versitale. Green in the spring and summer, oranges, yellows and browns for the fall (gone in the winter :)

Keep sending us your beautiful card tutorials. I look forward to them every day.

    Patti P.

  225. Debbie D Doddon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:41 pm

Wow, I came ‘this close’ to buying that stamp set yesterday at Michaels (with my 50% off coupon). Maybe I was meant to WIN it instead???

My favorite fall images are two ‘life size’ leaves - a Maple and an Oak. I have chalked them, watercolored them, made ‘caught in crystal’ with them, used Twinkling H2O on them… I just can’t get enough of them. And the BEAUTY of it is that I paid $1 for each of them in a clearance bin!

    Love your work!

  226. Horsebroadon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:41 pm

My favorite autumn image is one in my head of my sisters and me playing in the leaves my dad just raked up. So carefree, and not a care in the world. What I wouldn’t give for days like that today!

  227. Kelleyon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:42 pm

My favorite Autumnal image is the changing of the leaves. Since I live in Arizona, I don’t get to see it but I close my eyes and remember a trip to the mountains in Pennsylvania…for me there is no prettier picture. It was because of this mental image that I decided to have a fall wedding.

Thanks for the chance to win, I’m excited about the possibility of winning the stamp set that took my breath away yesterday!

Oh Yay! I saw this set in your tutorial from yesterday and fell in love with it! Favorite Autumn image… leaves or pumpkins or leaves or, even better Both. ;) Fall is my most favorite time of year with the fresh morning air, warm (not hot!) days, beautiful colors all around, leaves fluttering to the ground. Yep, my favorite time of year!

Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials! And for the chance to win!

  232. Char- Don 18 Sep 2008 at 12:46 pm

My favorite fall image is anything to do with the harvest. You know the haystacks, corn stalks, scarecrows, etc… You are making me a lover of trees though with your tutorials. Thanks for this chance to win.

  233. Nancy Lyonson 18 Sep 2008 at 12:46 pm

This stamp set is wonderful. When I went back to M’s to get it, it was sold out.

My favourite Autumn image is the deep reds and oranges of the trees that you find in the eastern part of Canada and the Northeastern part of the US. My DH is taking me to Vermont for our 25th wedding anniversary (the end of October) to see them. The colours, as you look out over the hills and valleys are breathtaking. We now live in Manitoba and we are far enough north that a lot of those colours aren’t seen here. Thank you SH, I can’t wait to go.

  234. Carol Hon 18 Sep 2008 at 12:46 pm

My favorite fall image is trees. I love all of the new stamps sets with the trees–especially when paired with birds (really like the tree and owl sets for fall).

I told my friend she needs to get your e-mails since you have such beautiful creations and your cards are amazing!!! I wish I lived close enough to some of the places you teach classes. Maybe in time we’ll be stationed somewhere close ;)

Thanks for sharing your tutorials with us all but I’m sad to say that the few attempts I’ve had at recreating your masterpieces end up nothing like them at all…..still,…..it’s fun trying!!

  242. Smullison 18 Sep 2008 at 12:57 pm

What great blog candy. I love those stamps…and the card you made with them. My favorite autumn image is something with pumpkins and halloween decor…followed closely by colored leaves in water.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp set and your card tutorial.

  244. Cindy H.on 18 Sep 2008 at 12:59 pm

I guess I would have to say that I love the look of pumpkins on the stoop and Autumn leaves, both in the trees and on the ground. Adding to that image, I love the smell of Autumn - the bread baking, pies in the oven, fresh produce cooking and the crisp smell of Autumn air. Thanks for a chance to win this beautiful set of images from Inkadinkado :)

  245. Tricia B.on 18 Sep 2008 at 12:59 pm

When I think of Fall in America I think of the rich colors of red, orange, yellow and brown and how they all come together to make such a wonderful kaleidoscope. The leaves are already changing here in Colorado and I love their colors. But I think my favorite image of Fall would have to be the wonderful pumpkins that wait in the fields for eager families to carve into jack-o-lanterns on Halloween or to be the center piece for Thanksgiving. It is not something I had growing up in Australia but it has become a favorite time of year to share with my family.

  246. Julia Mednickon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:00 pm

    Hi Michelle,

My absolute favorite time of the year is Autumn. I love the Fall Colors. The colors kind of reminds me of the cereal “Trix” (is for kids!)…all of the vibrante colors I would love to make a card with this stamp set. Pumpkins, haystacks, apples & trees are the best!

  247. ANNA ARTHURon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:00 pm

    Michelle,

I enjoy your cards so much. I have a new color laser printer and I copy them all and keep them in a binder for future reference. I love pumpkins and gourds ( can’t find too many of the latter). I especially like the elegant look with swirlys and stuff.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this set. Someone’s gonna be excited!

  248. Harriet Skellyon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:02 pm

I love this time of year–the sunny skies, vivid leaves falling from the trees and collecting on my lawns and the anticipating of the changing seasons–all reasons for cozying up with cider and stamps!!! I’ve been debating wether or not to hunt down this Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set, as I love what you’ve done with it and I really hope I win this one. Keep the great tutorials coming!

    Hi Michelle,

I cannot believe your art!! It is absolutely awesome. My co-worker just sent me a link to it on Monday and your work is truly art. I love leaves and grasses and Arbutus tree bark.

To win this card would definitely make my day. I look forward to your email in the mornings when I get to work.

  252. ellenon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:08 pm

I love the many shades of fall leaves. I love the colors you used on your fall card. The leaves turning color show it is fall and the blue sky shows a crispness in the air. Love your tutorials!

Michelle, your cards are works of art. I can’t wait to open my email in the morning to see what you have done. If I could, I would bring you to Denver to do a class for me.

  254. Nancyon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:09 pm

I love Doris’s comment “wow, I love this set, please pick me.” I couldn’t say it any better. Just to win something from her would be a thrill. My favorite thing about fall is the colors of the leaves. They are so beautiful.

  261. Kathleenon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:18 pm

I love Autumn leaves. You do such wonderful things and I love your color choices!

  262. gailon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:18 pm

Well Michelle my favorite images are also trees. So my favorite fall image would be trees with all of the changing colors. As far as stamp images I think the “Fall Season” Stamps by Inkadinkado that you’re offering is replacing my old favorite which ‘was’ “Lovely as a Tree” by SU along with “Autumn Leaf Prints” by Su. If I don’t win I might just have to break down and purchase this one…. Love those swirling leaves! I count on your tutorials to give me inspiration and am very thankful to you for sharing. g

Hi Michelle, My favorite image of Fall is the deep orange pumpkin, especially when made into a jack-o-lantern. Thanks for your clear tutorials–I really enjoy them. Linda

  267. Janet Siskon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:28 pm

Man, there are a lot of comments here! LOL I just found the other Inkadinkado set you used for one of your other cards. It is the one with the witch, pumpkins and spider web. I snatched that baby up and used my Michael’s coupon. Woohoo! I would LOVE to win this set to go along with the other one. I just love your cards and you inspire me to try new things all the time. Thanks so much!

  268. Wanda Vinsonon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:28 pm

Michelle, I love your tutorials and I’ve actually tried some of them. (I just don’t get your fabulous results LOL) I would love to win this blog candy!! I love this time of the year when the Texas weather finally starts to cool down some.

I love to watch the leaves falling from the trees on a clear, windy autumn day. Thank you for the opportunity for a chance to win these beautiful stamps. Nothing beats autumn. np

  272. Marilyn Kenisonon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:32 pm

I must have been hit in the head with a pumpkin when I was a baby. I love pumkins…all shapes, sizes, and colors. I can never have enough pumpkin stamps or orange inks, papers, and markers.
Love the tutorials and have printed out several. I s there some way to print just the instructions and not all the comments? I love reading the comments on line but use up way too much printer ink and paper printing the pages and pages of comments.
Keep up the good work..checking the website is the high point of my morning every day.

  273. Kimon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:35 pm

My favorite fall/autumn stamp image is probably from my VERY first set of stamps called Fantastic Foliage from SU. That was 8 years and many dollars ago! My husband and I are runners. We love to run the local trails when the leaves are turning. I consider it a perfect time of year and take a lot of inspiration home with me to use in the art room.

    Thanks for your wonderful blog!

  274. Cherylon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:35 pm

I have an old scarescrow stamp made by PSX that I love for Fall. After him, it’s any kind of tree or leaf stamp because those are my favorite all year long anyway.

  275. Lauri Pittmanon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:37 pm

Wow. I love the card you made with this set. I can’t believe how generous you are, and appreciate the opportunity to win.

  276. Debbie Don 18 Sep 2008 at 1:37 pm

Just one favorite autumn image? Wow that is a toughie! If I can only choose one, it would have to be fall trees in full color just before they start loosing their leaves. Of course my hubby and son would probably disagree since they do the raking of those fallen leaves.

  277. Rebeccaon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:41 pm

My favorite autumn image is children playing in a pile of leaves. It reminds me to slow down and relax and enjoy the season. Thanks for the chance to win.

  278. Candy Mon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:42 pm

My favorite autumn image? Well - living in the mountains, I’d have to choose the mountains covered in beautiful shades of gold, red, purple, and yellow. I adore autumn!

my old HA leaf stamps come to mind, fall is my favorite season! (Also, have a safe trip, I

  280. Roseon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:45 pm

I love all Autumn images but right now my fav. is the witch you used from all Hallow’s eve I am searching everywhere for that set. Doesn’t help that there is no store within 50 miles that sells stamps:(.
Thank you for all the great tutorials they are awesome!

  281. Sue Mandellon 18 Sep 2008 at 1:46 pm

I would love to come to one of your workshops someday. I live near Cincinnati, so who knows maybe one day I can! I get your blog updates by email and yours is the first one I open each time!

I love the set you are giving away - hope I’m the winner!

My favoite time of year is fall. The color of the leaves (on and off the trees), the smells, the crisp air. I love all of the fall colors; pumpkin, burgandy, brown, muted greens. I stumbled upon your tutorials a few weeks ago. You are amazing! Thank you for providing such inspiration to the rest of us!

  286. Sherry Don 18 Sep 2008 at 1:55 pm

Every morning I grab my coffee and check my emails to see what delightful images I will receive from you and I am never disappointed! You are such an Inspiration to all of us! My most favorite time of year is the Fall … the crispness in the air, the leaves changing colors, picking apples and pumpkins, craft fairs, football and apple pie..nothin better!! Thanks for the chance to win a great fall set! Smiles, Sherry

  287. Gayle Adolineon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:05 pm

This set could easily become my favorite, it’s gorgeous! I LOVE your card and others I’ve seen ….I want this set BADLY!!!! My favorite fall images have always been “trees”…there’s nothing as lovely as a tree! Thank you for all your help and inspiration…You’re the best!

  288. Valerieon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:06 pm

Thanks for offering this stamp set as blog candy! After seeing your post yesterday using this set I so want to go out and buy it.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. Although I don’t care for having to clean all the leaves up from the yard SEVERAL times each Autumn, I do like how all those colorful leaves look piled up in the yard getting blown around by the wind.

    Valerie

  289. Hollyon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:10 pm

I love pumpkins! But the wind swirling through the flourished branches on the tree stamp is very evocative of the season.
It was so pretty on your tutorial yesterday. Love your work!
    Holly

  290. DARLENE F.on 18 Sep 2008 at 2:11 pm

I just love the yard and porch decorations that feature homemade scarecrow people.
A few years ago, I made one with an old rocking chair, clothes stuffed w/ hay and a pumpkin for a head w/ a straw hat. Neighborhood folks really got a kick out of it!

  291. Jenny Mon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:12 pm

How kind of you to offer us another blog candy :) My favourite autumnal image is one of the falling trees of various colours ranging from brown, red, orange, yellow and green; with the autumn mist rising up amongst the trees and the sun’s rays beginning to peep through the soon to be barren branches.

The stamp set is superb and would be a means of recreating that scene on paper myself :) I’m keeping everything crossed in the hope that I will be lucky :)

Pick me, pick me he he :)

    Hugs Jenny M

    GORGEOUS!
Hmm, my fav is that tree in that set! WOW!

  293. Jeanne Mosson 18 Sep 2008 at 2:14 pm

A friend recently sent me the link to your website. I was “shocked and awed” when I pulled up your website! Your work is absolutely amazing! I’ve had a brayer for years and I’ve taken several brayer classes, including a good one with Nancy Curry at this year’s Stampaway in Cinci. But, nothing has even come close to what you’re creating!

Needless to say, I jumped in the car and drove 30 miles to the nearest Michael’s to purchase the stamp set with the pumpkins and witch! Now, I just have to find the time to play with it.

I can’t wait to get to one of your classes at Marco’s. Unfortunately, it’s a three and a half hour drive for me. Do you ever offer the beginning class followed by the advanced class in the same day? That would definitely make it worth the drive.

  294. Michelle McDanielon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:15 pm

I just have to tell you how much I love your blog! Your work is absolutely beautiful. My favorite fall images right now are trees & pumpkins. The Inkadinkado stamp set that you are giving away is beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us!

  295. Nimueon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:16 pm

My son had a huge maple tree outside his bedroom window. In the fall when the sun shone through the tree into his room, the room was filled with gold. It was so so gold you felt like you were holding in your hands. You could feel the gold. - Nimmy

  296. Jeanne Mosson 18 Sep 2008 at 2:16 pm

Forgot to mention…. my favorite autumn stamp is an old Stampin’ Up set called Happy Fall Y’all!

My favorite fall image this year is all the cute tree stamps that are available. I think pairing them with fall colors makes really cute cards. Thanks, as always, for sharing.

  299. lauraon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:24 pm

my favorite fall image is a tree full of color and missing leaves due to them falling to the ground around its skit. it gives the feeling of a crisp cool autumn day with just a touch of sun.

  300. Marsha R.on 18 Sep 2008 at 2:27 pm

I love pumpkins in the fall. Stamped pumpkins just beg for some raffia to simulate straw and some curly wire for the curling vines. I love fall! Thanks for all the inspiration you provide! Marsha

  301. MarilynYon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:27 pm

Autumn is always such a happy mellow time of the year with the harshness of the summer heat fading and just before the cold damp winter weather sets in. I remember taking my son to visit grampa’s home and showing him all the fallen leaves in the back yard and declaring how beautiful the array of colors lying on the ground. He turned to me and replied ‘but mom, that’s all a pile of rubbish’. Little did he know he’d be the one assigned to rake all that rubbish up.

  302. Gildaon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:30 pm

Your work is just amazing. When I saw it for the first time, my thought was that I would never be able to do anything like it. After following your tutorials for a while, I have decided I will at least try. I love leaves and the many colors we can use in coloring them for the fall season. I also love the stamp set and hope I win. Thanks for sharing so much with us.

  303. Sueon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:31 pm

I think fall is my favourite time of the year. It’s not too hot, not too cold and I LOVE the changing colours of the leaves. Oranges and Reds are my favourite colours and when the trees are covered in these colours it just makes me smile. It’s also the time of year to start making apple crumble …. yummmm, I’m going to get my recipies out now!

  304. KALYBERon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:32 pm

Autumn is my time of the year, especially the maple trees that seem to go through stages of different color changes, especially the golden yellows and pumpkin orange. Give me earth colors anyday. The blog candy offer is exciting and this set is georgous, so thanks for the opportunity to win this stamp set.
Your tutorials are very easy to follow too, thank you for sharing your talents.

Living in Chagrin Falls we are surrounded by wonderful, colorful woods this time of year. Hiking through the park district lands is so beautiful and peaceful I love the flourish tree in the stamp set you are so generously offering. It reminds me of all the beauty around our area!

  308. Gailanneon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:43 pm

I love the look of a bare tree with a thick layer of coloured leaves at its base. My favourite autumn image is that of SU’s retired “Trees Three”. However, the Inkadinkadoo (love typing that word!) stamp set that you are featuring looks like a contender. Thanks so much for this and for all your inspiration, Michelle.

  309. Caterinaon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:46 pm

    Michelle, another absolutely beautiful creation.

Love trees and leaves but also a nice pretty cornucopia stamp is always so very nice and you can do so much with it.

Thanks so very much for all you share with us and for offering some blog candy now and then - you are a sweetie.

  310. Dawnon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:50 pm

My favorite fall image? Definitely leaves - red, orange, yellow, green - all sizes and shapes. And it doesn’t hurt to put a pumpkin or two in the picture!

  311. Jody Marcelison 18 Sep 2008 at 2:53 pm

Walking thru the trials in the beautiful mountains here in the Salt Lake Valley, is the image I come see when I think of autumn. The aspen tree leaves have turned a beautfiul golden yellow. Add in the deep reds, royal purple, bright orange, and dark brown colors among the wonderful greens of the other trees and leaves, against a blue sky, with cool crisp air, and you have a picture perfect day.

Thanks for a chance to win. I love this set!

  312. Debbie DeBoseon 18 Sep 2008 at 2:54 pm

I love the bradford pear trees when the leaves turn–so, so gorgeous. That tree on this stamp set is to die for! Love the card you made with it. Your work is always outstanding!

Thanks for offering such a wonderful set.

    Have a safe trip!

Keep them coming!!!!!

  319. Diane COoperon 18 Sep 2008 at 3:13 pm

Oooh so generous Michelle! THanks for the opportunity!
My favourite image for fall stamping is leaves for sure, but I have to say that right now I sure wished I had a PEAR! I am up to my eyeballs right now canning pears, jamming pears, baking pears… you get the idea! I was thinking how a nice stamped lable with pears on it would make a nice gift! But in the mean time I will sit with my leaves and stamp away!
Got any pear brayer ideas??? ;)

I guess Lovely as a Tree would be my all-time favorite, go-to set. There are just SO MANY color combos you can put with it — every season. But I like it best with Fall/Winter. Something so comforting about the line of leafless trees. Like they know winter’s coming, and they are bracing for it.

  322. Anneon 18 Sep 2008 at 3:19 pm

I just discoved your blog and love all your colorful cards and your detailed instructions on how to create them. Colorful leaves against a bright blue sky are my favorite autumn image. Sometimes a whole set of clear stamps has only one or two images I like but every stamp in the fall season set is wonderful.

Hope all is well now after your storm, and all goes well for you in Texas. Wish I could get to one of your workshops. But live a little far away. Thanks once again.

That’s an easy question for me! I love Halloween and all things that go with it. But my favorite is pumpkins, sitting by an old wagon, with lots of bunches of mums sitting around. What a beautiful sight, against a setting sun and the georgous colors of reds, yellows, and oranges, with a touch of lavender in the sky. And, guess what, that’s the same shades of autumn to me!
    Thanks!

  363. Stephanie Pon 18 Sep 2008 at 5:11 pm

Fall has always been my favorite time of year. Like you, I love the change in the color of the leaves. I grew up with a big treed and forested hill by my parent’s home and could stare out the window for hours at the beautiful colors. My very favorite thing is the change in sunlight as the sun is lower in the sky. I’m sad that its darker earlier in the evening and later in the morning but there’s something almost a brighter or clearer in the daylight as the temps drop when autum arrives.

Thank you for the opportunity to win this wonderful Inkadinkado set. I love all your work, Michelle, including the gorgeous card you made with the set you’re giving away!

Thank you for the opportunity to take part in your blog giveaway. I love visiting your site - it is always so inspirational. Autumn is one of my most favorite times of the year. Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love the colors of the leaves and the cool crisp air. I also love to watch the crab apples fall off of my tree and see the squirrels and chipmunks eat them or take them off to their secret winter stashes. Thank you for the opportunity to possibly win this awesome fall set of stamps. The first card I would make with them would be a less than perfect case of your card.

    Hi Michelle,
Do I have a fav. Autumn image??? Just bought one, it’s from a Dutch firm called Kars and it has a spider, an owl and a mushroom on it. Liked it very much.

I did not get married under the tree as I hoped but this stamp set would allow me to create a card form my husband that would remind him of that day.

    Hi Michelle,

I am from Michigan and one of my favorite parts of fall is the way the trees leave a longer shadow on the lawn. It is so pretty when there are a few first fallen leaves on the freshley cut grass and then the long shadows across the lawn. I love a cool nights sleep too! thanks for all of the tutorials, they are a favorite part of my day.

    Michelle,
I drive a school bus and especially love the scenery in the fall mornings along my route in the country. The fields are a patchwork of gold, rust, yellow and some green. The sunrise is magnificent with the pinks and reds. I think my favorite image would be driving over the crest of a hill and seeing all the gorgeous colors of the fields down below. I would love to take my camera along, but if I stopped to take photos of all the beautiful sights, the kids would all be late for school!

I love everything about fall. My favorite image is that of my 3 year old grandson sitting in the back of a wagon surrounded by yellow mums and bright orange pumkins. He is smiling, you know the one ‘I’m up to something’, and trying to hug the biggest pumpkin in the stack. Makes me smile everytime. I love your blog and your work. Your designs always amaze me.

    Michelle,

My absolute favorite Fall scene is the leaves on the trees turning colors and falling off. I love to be outdoors on a windy Fall day, and watch as the wind comes through, and a bunch of leaves fall off the trees at one time. It makes it look as if it is raining leaves. Since I live in Ohio, I am lucky enough to see this every year. Love it. By the way, I love that stamp set and what you have done with it. Absolutely stunning! Four hundred and something comments left for this so far. I have next to no chance of winning. Oh well, its fun to try.

    Hi Michelle,

that’s an awesome blog candy!! Hmmm, Lets see. My favorite fall images are the leaves in “Fantastic Foliage,” but what really makes me think of fall are all of the coffee sets like, “Like It a Latte,” and “Express Yourself,” and “What’s Brewin.” Something about the thought of holding a warm cup of cocoa or coffee, just makes me think that the weather is changing and is getting colder.

I love your blog. Keep up the great work!!

    Alena in Northern CA.

  453. Jayneon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:26 pm

I have to admit that I am a sucker for leaves! I just love the autumn colors.

  454. Jenny Quin-Conroyon 18 Sep 2008 at 9:26 pm

Michelle I just LOVE Autumn, too. I love to see the ground covered with all of those coloured leaves and the twisted and curled tree branches exposed. This was all shown in the last tutorial you e-mailed.
I would dearly love THIS stamp set.

  464. Gillianon 18 Sep 2008 at 10:25 pm

My favorite fall image is a cornfield at harvest time, the stalks all dried up and frayed and the corn ready to pick –at this stage for feed; the cornfield has a cute colorful scarecrow in it. In the scene, its evening time and a full moon is in the background with a few bats flying around. A few ripe pumpkins are lined around the field in various areas. A few fall trees in the horizon…
That’s why I loved your Harvest Moon tutorial so much!
I love your fall tutorials as the colors are my favorites too!
It would be so exciting to win the blog candy stamp, and it seems quite a few are just as interested as I am! How fun!!

Absolutely admire your artwork. Thanks so much for all your tutorials. Nothing I’ve done so far comes close to yours, but I’m still trying; something to aspire to.

My favorite image(s) for fall are leaves and pumpkins because I like to watercolor. One of my favorites is the “Thoroughly Thankful” stamp set from Stampin Up!.

Hope you had a great class turnout in Austin.

    Blessings,

Hi Michelle! Love your tutorials! I am amazed by what you can do with a brayer! I have to thank my little sister-Hi Betsy Hawkins-for leading me to your blog! Last time I visited her we made 2 of your cards-leaf in the pond, and one with flowers done in the 2 new blue In Colors.
My favorite fall images are the trick or treaters and haunted houses. Guess that comes from having taught first graders for 30 years. I really love halloween! And this year SU has a wonderful jumbo wheel-Haunting- to go along with a new set called House of Haunts. Those are my favorites-this year! ;-)
    Hugs!

I love anything fall such as pumkins, gourds, corn stalks, indian corn and cornacopias…but I especailly love leaves, pinecones, acorns, trees…you get the idea!

Leaves don’t even need to be fall colored. I love the bright spring leaves when the trees are first budding. Follage and nature are beautiful any time of year!

That’s why I love your cards and techniques Michelle!

    Paulie

I don’t remember the name of the set though, but it has all different kinds of fall leaves in it. It has seen alot of ink over the years…haven’t found it yet after the move though. I am diggin this Inkadinkadoo set though too and would love to win it!!! Hisses, Rockin Robin

  477. Kerry Fitzpatrickon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:18 pm

After living in Massachusetts for several years and now living in Oklahoma, I miss the beautiful New England fall leaves. The brilliant colors that can just blow you away at every turn in the road. “Leaf Peeping” in the White Mountains of New Hampshire….Ahhhhhh, there is nothing as breath taking. I’ve never seen colors that bright and vivid. The leaves looked like they were on fire!!
So, LEAVES would be my favorite fall image….and Inkadinkado seems to do it the best.

  479. Debi Pippinon 18 Sep 2008 at 11:35 pm

I do love the fall leaves when Autumn comes with all her pretty colors but my favorite images of all time are the scarecrow and the big fat orange pumpkins. They just say fall to me. I can smell those pumpkins and a big pie baking in the oven. I also love the harvest moon so big and golden orange and yellow. My mom always says when it gets cold there will be “Frost on the Pumpkin!” Much better saying than what my dad would say “colder than a witches — “well you know. I am ready for the fall air to kick in here in Florida as it is hotter than you know what here! Love the freshness of the fall air. We love to visit the northern GA mountains and watch the colors change in OCT.

Thanks for the opportunity to win another great set.
I love your blog and your tutorials are so easy to follow.

I also have an older SU set with a great bowl of veges and fruit with some fantastic words that I love to use. Thanksgiving cards are my FAVORITE cards to do hands down.

I absolutely love this stamp set. The swirl of leaves is just gorgeous. I love the colors of fall, when the leaves start turning colors. I love Pumpkins, Scarecrows, you name it. Fall is my favorite time of year. Mainly because it is so hot in Arizona, fall starts to turn everything cooler…I can’t wait…We are just now starting to be able to sit outside at lunchtime. lol…

  493. Cyndeon 19 Sep 2008 at 1:34 am

    Thanks for the opportunity,

I love the autumn colours too, when reds, golds, yellows, bronze and oranges abound, and we still have a splash of green here and there. Dog walking at this time of year is so inspiring. I also love when we get a particularly beautiful sunrise it casts a lovely rosey glow on everything, usually making it look warmer than it feels, lol

Thanks for the chance to win those lovely stamps and for your wonderful tutorials.

  499. Sharon Ferreiraon 19 Sep 2008 at 3:42 am

Hi Michelle - Yummy I’d love to win the autumn set. I have a tree made by Great Impressions here in South Africa that is just great for using with autumn colours as well. I do love the more versatile stamps. We’re going into summer soon here, so autumn is a while away. Enjoy whatever season you’re in, be it life season or weather season. However, my wish for you is a forever summer season in your heart!!!! a hug from Sharon in S.Africa

Hi, Michelle, I love the way your tutorial blog, making stamping more than a fine art, it is a talent of painting skill, the way you present is sophiscated. When I love most of
Autumn is the thanksgiving warmth and it brings rest and joy.
What I like most of the Inkadinka images is the spider web in ALL Hallow Eve.
it is a quarter of it, but if stamp three more times, that will be a “full-size” web.
Thank you again for the candy, I really hope to win this set too.

I love this stamp set! And you do wonders with it (and any stamp set lucky enough to readch your hands!). I remember when you used to have a much shorter comment list (lol). Your talent has reached so many, your response list is MUCH longer now! Stamp on, sista!

  508. Elmion 19 Sep 2008 at 7:41 am

Wow, so many people said leaves, and now I don’t want to say it too but it really is my favourate :-) I love picking up those large leaves that has many colours in it, yellow, orange, brown, green, some red… it almost reminds me a bit of your brayered backgrounds LOL! But another autumn image I love (which no one has mentioned), is all the many birds that start to flock together before migrating. We see hundreds of them at our home every fall. Anyway, thanks for a chance to win!

As fall is my fav, it has to be leaves and more leaves, in all their glorious colors. I love walking in my woods (yes, I’m blessed) and hearing them crunch. Thanks for your lovely card and ongoing ideas. How in the world do you do it all?

  512. Druon 19 Sep 2008 at 8:47 am

I love all images of Fall, and funny enough - when it came time to work in a Fall theme - I found I really didn’t have a lot. I bought 3 of the Halloween sets by Inka, but somehow the Fall set escaped me - now I must have it - whether I win it or buy it.

  513. Suzie Hon 19 Sep 2008 at 8:48 am

my favorite fall image is to be out sitting by the pond on a beautiful day with tree’s all full of so many different colors that you can’t count them all. You look into the water and see a beautiful reflection of those colors in the water and you know that God has come to say hello, I am so glad you are enjoying my earth. I was able to receive a photo from my sister in law several years ago of that reflection and I so anticipate this time of year so I can go back and sit there with a book or my fishing pole and just look at all the beauty that God has provide for us to view. How fortunate I am today to be able to enjoy that because I know too many people right now that have been displaced because of recent storms and probably don’t think too much of anything is beautiful. S

  514. Qon 19 Sep 2008 at 9:08 am

Wow - thanks for the chance to enter! My favorite image would have to be my StampScapes set with a cabin set on the edge of a lake with trees surrounding it. Tje trees are shades of copper, gold and a smattering of green. The lake reflects the autumnal colors. Thanks again for your generosity.

  515. Cindyon 19 Sep 2008 at 9:08 am

My favorite image of fall is mountains covered with fall colors. Most of the trees would be red and orange with a little yellow here that there. Maybe even a cluster of green pine trees. A gentle breeze would be blowing so the the trees would be swaying and the leaves would be falling. In the valley would be a small creek with a couple of deer drinking from it.

As for my favorite autumn image, well…it’s really hard to choose just one! But, looking around the one that jumped out at me first was the House Mouse, Autumn Sprinkles. AND…now that I have Copic markers I think I’ll love it even more!

Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful set from Inkadinkadoo. And thanks for your tutorials which I always look forward to. May God bless!

  523. Susan Swansonon 19 Sep 2008 at 11:09 am

My favorite Autumn image is a scene that exists in my mind… a huge old-time wooden gathering wagon, that’s being pulled by an old-time tractor in a pumpkin patch. In the wagon there are a few people grinning from ear to ear with the prized pumpkins they’ve just freshly picked off the vine. All of this spendor in a backdrop of magnificent trees dressed in their colorful Autumn leaves and oh how sweet that day was.

This real-life Americana image existed once-upon-a-time for us in Chesapeake, Virginia.

  524. Diana Gehrton 19 Sep 2008 at 11:17 am

I have to say that leaves are my favorite fall images. I can’t tie it down to a specific one, though. That set from Inkadinkado is gorgeous. I really like the swirling leaves stamp. Your tree card is just gorgeous!

  525. barbdon 19 Sep 2008 at 11:27 am

my favorite fall image is sitting in our fishing boat on our favorite lake. When the lake is like glass you can see all the yellow and gold reflections in the water. It is almost a spiritual experience
You are a real inspiration to me. Thank you very much

This is really pretty, I jsut love the colors and cards that you make. I have been in awe over your fall creations - so I am so excited about the opportnity to win that wonderful stamp set - please let it be me! My favorite fall image is trees in beautiful fall colors - the reds, oranges, etc. To me, the changing of the tree colors signals in the Fall season!

Have a wonderful day (it’s Friday)!

What a wonderful stamp set! I love your card! My favorite autumn image is leaves when they have turned the rich colors of fall! That’s how I color my leaf images when I make fall cards! After 12 years in Southern California, with no real change of seasons, I am loving the fall scenery here in NC.
Thanks for the chance to win, Michelle! Have a great trip!

Love this stamp set as much as I love fall. The colors, the crisp air, the harvest moon, and of course Halloween!!!

    It’s fall you know
    the time has come
to jump in leaves and watch them fly
and then remember times gone by.

I love the fall its colors bright
the ghostly moon and pumpkins bright.
So give me fall and I shall be as happy as
    girl can be.

  543. Maeon 19 Sep 2008 at 4:55 pm

My favourite autumn image is one that I should try and recreate using Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely as a Tree set, there is a road in Tasmania where you drive between two rows of gorgeous trees that have the most beautiful colours in autumn. It makes me thing of an English road (not that I have been to England) but just what I have read and seen. I recently made a card with this set with autumn colours for a Kristina Werner colour challenge it is on my blog at http://maecollins.blogspot.com/.

The Inkadinkadoo set is beautiful and something I would like to own. I hope I win. Thanks for your tutorials.

  548. Rukhshanaon 19 Sep 2008 at 5:55 pm

I would go with your Autumn image of the tree in all its russets but my tree has dropped most of its leaves & they’re curled & crunch underfoot. It’s a crisp day, not too cold but cold enough to wear a snug jacket. The the sun is shining in that weak kind of watery way and the sky is a gorgeous blue with an occasional fluffy cloud. Oh don’t you just want to kick up those leaves & hear them rustling as they fall?

  549. Vickion 19 Sep 2008 at 6:09 pm

First, I wanted to comment on your card!! It’s just gorgeous as usual!! :) I think my fav image…if you mean from this set has to be the negitive leaves image!! Michelle,
I have this set, but I’m doing this anyway so if I win I can give it to one of my best friends who LOVES fall and always has fall stuff in her house during the season.

My favorite fall image is leaves changing. I think they’re so beautiful. When I lived in Philadelphia that was my favorite thing about the season because the colors were so vibrant. Oranges, yellows, reds. A cascade of colors on different trees.

Keep those awesome tutorials and cards coming.

    Marq:-D

  555. Danaon 19 Sep 2008 at 8:34 pm

Hello…my favorite fall image is of a brisk fall day and a gentle wind is blowing all the “dropped” multiclolred leaves around. They swirl and scatter about the ground around you, making that “rustling” sound as they swirl.

My favorite fall image is my kids dressed up for Halloween sitting on our front steps with all the pumpkins we have carved.

  564. Joyon 19 Sep 2008 at 11:37 pm

As a child I remember looking forward to Halloween every year. We didn’t get store bought costumes though. With 9 kids, it was homemade all the way. I don’t think I ever wore a store bought costume ever in my childhood. :-) I remember mom cutting up some of her old sheets. She cut holes in them for our arms and heads so we could be ghosts. One year particularly, we didn’t have plastic bags to use for candy, we had paper ones and it started raining and I remember trying to keep my bag from getting wet. I slipped and fell and my bag was all wet and the bottom fell out. I lost all my candy on the ground. I cried then, but when we got home, all my siblings shared their candy with me. Those were good ole’ memories. Halloween, falling, lost candy and all..Thanks for bringing this back to the front of my memory Michelle.

Love your collection of cards you have done for the fall. BTW.. I got my first BRAYER today..wooohooo… I can’t wait to try something like yours.

  565. Michelleon 19 Sep 2008 at 11:43 pm

I LOVE your work, it is just BREATH TAKING!!!! Speaking of breath taking, my most favorite image of Autumn is not really the image, but the COLORS of Autumn; Bright Red, Orange, Yellow, Burgundy, Olive Green, Brown, all mixed together, = WOW!!!! All I have to say is “Welcome Fall, welcome”. Now random number picker…pick me!! tee hee!

    Cheers!

Michelle, my favorite autumn image is the maple leaf. I never really experienced a true autumn in Texas until I lived in Nashville, TN and saw the changing of the seasons on the college campus that I was attending - Vanderbilt. Thank you for the opportunity to win a free set of stamps, and I really like your tutorials and blog.
    You inspire me!

  568. NEENA JOHNSONon 20 Sep 2008 at 4:36 am

Well let me start by saying that this card is perhaps thee most breathtaking I have ever seen, man what I’d give to have your hands….wholly moley!
I think my favorite thing is the quick color changes in the leaves and the various colors that are warm and soothing to the eye. I live in California and do not have the chance to always witness color changes like when I lived in Boston or traveled from Boston to California and witnessed the trees changing colors Pennsylvania and Connecticut, those images are forever etched in my memory. Thanks for rekindling that memory with your lovely card.

I love so much about Fall…the leaves are awsome, seeing kids heading off to school with all their new gear and excited faces and I love seeing college kids heading towards the future with a change in all facets of their lives. Gotta love seeing someone headed to a new life of independence. As you can see…the Fall is such a wonderful time of new beginnings. The leave in their glorious colorful abundance ending the cycle of the leaves while the people of the world head off to new beginning. Love it all.

You have a way of using stamps I would not have even noticed, and turning them into works of art. One of these days I am going to treat myself to a “Michelle Zindorf” day and practice some of the skills you have been teaching us…

I love autumn when the trees turn beautiful colors of red and orange. Then as they fall to the ground, its beautiful site. Then you know Halloween is around the corner. Then its time to decorate pumpkins and gourds. I love to decorate for halloween to see the little kids faces as they come to the door.

This site is terrific. Thanks for all the inspirational ideas.

    Hi Michelle,
I have to say I am hoping you will read this and post a response. I know you read each of your messages because I received a personal response to one I posted earlier. With everything you are doing, I am not sure how you keep up-as someone else said, when do you sleep? At any rate, I have been trying your techniques and although not as stunning as yours, I am pleased with the results. I know the skills will get better as I work with the techniques more often. I bought some prismacolor pens which I had never used before. I am having trouble with them getting muddy when I use them. Do I need to heat set between colors? Also, when you give your classes (which I am still hoping to attend eventually), do you talk about your thought process when deciding to layer colors? I find that is my biggest challenge. Thank you again for sharing your creativity with us. I find it inspiring.
    Take care,
    Cathie in Maryland

  581. Laurie Fon 20 Sep 2008 at 12:48 pm

Beautiful card Michelle. I live in California, so I don’t get to see a lot of fall colors. But I guess what I like best is the change in season. The temperature gets a little bit nippy and the days are shorter. It makes you want to hurry home for a nice bowl of soup to get warm and cozy….BTW would love to win!!

  582. micheleon 20 Sep 2008 at 1:46 pm

I love the red leaves on the Maple Trees. We have one in our front lawn that is growing right across our drainage system - of course!! - and when its roots grew into the pipes and created damage I wouldn’t let my husband have it cut down and destroyed!!!! We found an new alternative method for fixing the pipes and saved the tree!!! So now every Fall I have my red Maple leaves right outside my door and falling in my yard.

  583. Nicoleon 20 Sep 2008 at 2:19 pm

I have missed getting a dose of your blog. I am at my daughters’s house in San Antonio. The first chance I had I looked you up….. I love this tutorial, the tree is gorgeous. I would love to win but if I don’t I will buy it as soon as I am able. I love the colors of fall that I have seen in photos. Living in Texas we don’t get a true fall like you do in other states. 601. Mary Kon 21 Sep 2008 at 1:29 am

My favorite Autumn images are in my memory–I grew up with 2 huge Oak trees in the front yard. My brother, sister, and I used to love to play in the piles and piles of leaves. Of course my parents didn’t enjoy it as much, especially when they had just raked them into such lovely piles. :-)

Thank you for the chance to win such a beautiful Autumn stamp set. I love visiting your blog.

My absolute favorite tree stamp is from AMuse - Leafy Tree. The leaves are open so you can color them in very easily using fall colors.

Great website - thanks for all the wonderful tutorials!

  608. Joan Bon 21 Sep 2008 at 8:51 am

There are so many! My favorite autumn image is currently from Carolyn King’s Whimsical Autumn. Love her pumpkins!

  609. Carlaon 21 Sep 2008 at 9:13 am

My favorite fall image is leaves. It reminds me of early grade school. We always had a “search for different colored leaves” project in the fall at school. So when I think of fall I still love leaves and remember how fun it was to see if you were going to be the one this year that found the most unusual fall leaf.

  610. Myriameon 21 Sep 2008 at 9:31 am

The autumn stamps that I really love, are the swirls from Inkadinkado.
You can make so many with Swirls.

I recently found your blog (about two weeks ago) and am in awe of your talent. I have been in a rut with cards lately, just not happy with anything that I had created! Then, after seeing one of your tutorials, I gave the brayer technique a try. I think I have found my niche and am seriously hooked.

OK, if I must choose one tutorial, I guess it would have to be…..uhhhhhh….no, I can’t do it………..uhhhhhh……ok, maybe…..I think it is #116, the flying witch. There, I did it, whew!

You are awesomely talented and can’t wait to see more!

I know it’s fall when I see a huge pile of freshly raked leaves. I can remember raking them as a child and my sisters and I having a blast jumping in them. Of course, by the time we were finished, we’d have to rake them back up again. But, that was OK because we could always jump some more. Oh, those were the days!

    Hello,

Being raised in Indiana and then moving to North Florida sure does make you miss the four seasons. Florida is beautiful and the weather not to cold but…..I sure did miss the fall weather and all the leaves changing colors. Your cards are beautiful and full of natures beauty! Thanks for the great tutorials!

Autumn… what is there not to love about it!?! From the crispness of the air, the angle of the sun and the absolutely breathtaking colors of the trees! I love the sound of the rusling leaves as I walk and to listen to the call of the canadian geese as they fly south….. I love fall!!! My favorite image has to be the leaves and all it’s glorious colors!!!!
Thank you for your tutorials! Your work is fabulous and I’ve learned so much from you!!! Thank you!

I love Autumn, it’s my favorite time of year because it always seems like the start of everything to me, whereas summer seems like the end. I think my favorite images of autumn are apples, pumpkins, and colored leaves. Maple leaves are the best because they turn such gorgeous colors. The second week of October is the perfect time to be in Pennsylvania when the leaves are at their peak. Halloween is just around the corner and there’s a crispness in the air. It’s the perfect time to go home (PA is where I’m from) and enjoy Autumn in a location that does it right!

I just discovered your blog a few days ago and it’s already given me many ideas. Thank you!

I would have to say the smell of Autumn is my favorite. The smell conjures up the image of the beautiful fall foliage.

  628. Martyon 21 Sep 2008 at 9:41 pm

I love all things leaves, especially in the fall. There is something so satisfying about crunching through the fallen leaves while leaves are falling around like lovely colored snowflakes. In this Inkadinkadoo set, the leaf flourish is wonderful.

  629. Lynne Hurlburton 21 Sep 2008 at 11:19 pm

Hmm…favourite Fall image… I do like the Autumn tree in SU!’s ‘Tree for All Seasons’ set. I had to make an Autumn B-day card this weekend and realised I didn’t have all that many Autumn sets! That Inka set did catch my eye when I was checking out their newest images! As well as Foliage Trails & Halloween Trails! I just love Autumn!!!! =)

Thanks for this chance, Michelle! Great question!

There is a photo that we try to recreate every year of me and my siblings sitting on a huge pile of pumpkins at a local pumpkin farm. The original was taken 25 years ago or so, I love that photo. It is the signature of autumn around here. I love everything about fall!

  643. Bonnie Son 22 Sep 2008 at 9:35 am

I love just walking in the fallen leaves and looking at all the beautiful color combinations!

  644. Shannon Ameson 22 Sep 2008 at 6:01 pm

I love the colours of the Autumn leaves, the reds, yellows and oranges with the occasional green here and there. My favourite picture is of a country lane lined on either side by autumn trees.

  645. graciesgramon 22 Sep 2008 at 6:55 pm

I love the snap and crackle and crispness of fall. Those sounds are only found in fall and help it all (colors, temperature, smells and tastes) come together. Your card is a very special one.
