Texas Fun, Hospitality and the Blog Candy Winner
Well I’m back from the Great State of Texas! I had such a blast meeting everyone and they were so very warm and welcoming. These ladies welcomed me with such fun treasures to bring back with me. I knew instantly I was in a super wonderful place when my Fabulous Hostess, Lydia of www.understandblue.blogspot.com met me at the airport with a goody bag to tie me over in the hotel that included chocolate brownies that I swear the angels themselves made. Definitely, this trip was off to a great start, lol.
Oh! and then the fun really began with my brayer workshops. By the way my beginning brayer workshops should come with this warning
“you will definitely leave with ink on your hands”!
Anyway, we got a little dirtier when a couple of my fellow Split Coast Stamper Dirty Dozen Alumni (Joan & Jeanne) attended along with Jenn, SplitCoastStamper Royalty.
If you haven’t met these ladies in person your missing out. They are a real HOOT! My sides hurt from laughter after the workshop was over.
Every single person I met on this trip was an absolute delight!
I’m not the only one that went home with treasures. When you attend one of my beginner workshop you also go home with some terrific items (brayer, Innovative Stamp Creations stamp set, stamping mat, finished projects etc., etc. ) and the mastery of brayering.
Thank you so much to all of the workshop attendee. Stampers in Texas are the BEST!
On another note, as promised we have a blog candy winner!
Out of 643 entries the random number generator picked, drum-roll please. . . . . . . .. . . . . . . .
Joy, please e-mail your address to mzindorf@aim.com and I will get this stamp set in the mail to you ASAP.
Thanks everyone for playing along!
May your Monday be full of fun, laughter and special memories.
Until my next post. . . . . .. . .
Michelle

Oh Michelle, it looks like you all had a blast! I hope you have a workshop in central Florida, I’d love to come as I need expertise teaching on using that brayer!
I was planning to come to your workshop in Texas, but instead I got hit by Ike and had to leave town. I hope you come back!!!
Looks like a fun time…Of course being from Texas you need a TEXAS A& M mug to complete your Texas collection…LOL
Thanks for sharing your awesome photos, good to see they treated you right with Texas hospitality. Chris
It sounds like you had a FANTASTIC time. I mapped it out, and Marco’s paper is about 3 1/2 hours from me. I think I might be able to talk my co-horts in crime, I mean stamping, to take your class the next time you have a beginners class at Marco’s! I keep watching for it!
looks as if a good time was had by all!!!!!!
wish I could attend one of your classes Michelle!!!!
maybe someday you will come to So Cal…closer to the San Fernando Valley
hugs
JoAnne
Thanks, Michelle, for the wonderful class! It was a real thrill to finally get to meet you and to learn your fabulous technique with the brayer. Glad you had a safe trip home.
Sorry ours was such a rambunctious group . . . it was Jenn and Jeanne’s fault! LOL Can’t wait to practice what we learned (without the fingerprints this time). But, we all had fun, didn’t we!
Hugs from “Big D!”
