Blog Candy Time!

I am off to teach in New Johnsonville, Tennessee tomorrow morning so while I am gone I decided in celebration of Stampin’ Up coming out with their new catalog I would give away one of the brand new stamp sets.  This Stampin’ UP Stamp set is Dream Gardens and all you have to do to enter is leave me a comment telling me to enter you in the drawing.  If you are getting this blog update by e-mail you will need to follow this link to leave your comment:   http://zindorf.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2009/07/08/blog-candy-time/

    Hi Michelle. I too was once a demonstrator. The economny got to my customers and another demonstrator having gotten the school’s first, had a nice monopoly for the area. I attend her classes.

    omigosh! would you just LOOK at all these entries??? More than the “naming the parakeet” contest! But would you believe that I really never even noticed this new set until you posted a pic of it? Shameful!!! However I am certain that you will do something with it to make me love it, want it and buy it!

    As for your awesome classes…I keep watching your calendar for a class near me….please come to the St. Louis area!!! Yes, I know that you will be in Columbia, MO but a) that’s several hours from STL and b.) it’s during SU convention or I would be there anyway! lol! If you need a sponsor for a class in the metro STL area, I have a friend who owns a stamp/SB store and can see if she would be willing to sponsor but if all you need is a big room with plenty of seating I could reserve our local library. Huge conference room, lots of sturdy tables and it’s free! No sales allowed but they will allow classes to be held there and class fees are prepaid so it wouldn’t even apply.     Ooh Michelle. This stamp set is gorgeous. I really like making ‘Asian’ cards. They have a calm to them even though usually in bold colours. I only have one Stampin Up set which is Lovely as a Tree which I had to get after all the great inspiration you have provided to use it.     One of my most spiritual moments was when I went alone to San Francisco’s Japanese Garden . I think it was in Golden Gate Park.     Wow, what a wonderful set. I’d love to win it! We had an AFS student from Japan about 25 years ago and with this set I’d be able to make some cards for her.

    And today’s tutorial works just perfectly for me. My neighbor is having a birthday next week and I was ready to sit down to make him a card when I just had to see what you were doing first.     I am really inspired by your cards. I have been down due to back surgery for 50 days and now am ready to get back into my room and stamp. Thanks for all of the great ideas.
