HHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great idea. Never thought to do this. I forget about all my wheels mainly because they are such a bother rolling them straight and starting and finishing them where I want them. My question is: do you have any suggestions on what to do with all my ink cartridges?????? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ebay has them under acrylic blocks. There are sets and the prices are right.

This is awesome. May I put this information on my blog and give you credit? I have some customers who hate the wheels but love the designs. I think if I put this on my blog they would buy more wheels and just unmounted them from the wheel. Brilliant idea! Look for ward to meeting you on Saturday. Thank you again. kt

This is a great idea. I buy wheels and I never use them because I don’t feel like I have good CONTROL of exactly where different parts of the image will land. By converting them to unmounted stamps, it gives us all of our stamp-a-ma-jiggy control back in our hands, LOL! And if it didn’t work out, it looks like it would be easy enough to stick them back on the roller!

I love all your tutorials and followed this one months ago to unmount several of my wheels. I use them a lot more now because I just couldn’t keep them straight before. I do have one question, where did you find the 4 x 7 block? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one that’s bigger than 4 x 6.

I, like Stephanie P, use my wheels as wheels. I thought the whole idea was to have a quick and easy border or background by using the wheels.
But for sure this tutorial has filled a need.
