Prismacolor Premier Illistration Marker Blog Candy Give Away
Just look at what the Prismacolor Company came out with, new Prismacolor Premier Illustration markers, yummy! If you follow this blog you already know I am a fan of Prismacolor Markers. I have 3 sample sets for blog candy today. One set of Brush tip, one set of the Chisel tip and one set of of the Assorted tip. One lucky person will win all three sets. Below is a card I want to show you. This was created in a joint effort by myself and Karen Barber at our Stampin’ Up Team meeting last night. We used a new Stampin’ Up set “Autumn Splendor”. This set is featured in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog that will start September 1, 2009. If you need a copy of the new mini catalog e-mail your address to: mzindorf@aim.com and I will get one in the mail to you. If you are a customer of mine, this catalog will automatically be mailed to you.
The Autumn Splendor set has some really terrific fine line leaves that are fun to color. Make sure to put these on your list of have to haves for the Fall season.
Hey, check out that black embossing on the black panel on the card below. I know it is hard to see in the photo, but in real life it is stunning! That was Karen Barbers idea and it really made this card pop. Give the Black embossing on black card stock a try, you will fall in love with this technique.
My down-line that were not able to be at the team meeting last night will get the instructions for this card via e-mail.

Hi Michelle, great card! I love using markers – my favourite is a set I picked up in Beijing of Marvy Designer series. I haven’t seen them anywhere else, and a google search turned up exactly 0 results for them, but they are great. They are alcohol markers, like copics, but more vibrant and opaque. I’ve never tried Prisma markers, but sure would love to.
What a beautiful leaves project. Thanks again for an opportunity to win some cool stuff. My daughter would LOVE these markers. She want to illustrate images for her graphic novel that’s in the works.

Autumn is my favorite time of year! Love how your leaves look like they are falling into water. I am so hooked on Prismacolor markers because of you and find I can do all the Copic techniques with them… well except airbrushing but that’s because I haven’t tried. Oh how I love the colors and the leaves, the raffia is a beautiful embellishment and the clear embossed leaves on the black background just adds the extra punch to this gorgeous card! WOW! I absolutely love your work. I have a question regarding the type of sponge you use, what and where do you find them, lol. I tried different types but not quite right. And, how do you find the time, your cards are beautiful and you make it sound so easy??? I am just now experimenting with the prismacolor premier markers and loving the effect of blending colors, thanks for sharing your creations and inspiring me to give something new a try being that I have hundreds of stamps yet to be used. I love that card as well as all your cards. I cant seem to delete any of them from my computer. You can also use clear embossing powder on any dark color and get the same effect.

I have the Prismacolor pencils. They are the best and I bet these markers are going to be top of the line. They always produce a quality product.
Love this project wih the prisma markers! I have searched and searched for those markers in our area. Only one store seems to have a limited supply (grays, beige, no other colors) — I love working with SU Markers, and I’m sure I would like the prisma markers as well. (P.S. I know if I were internet savvy, could probably find them on-line, right!) Needless to say, you bring a card to life with them!
What a GREAT Giveaway!!! After looking at your site and your work so so many times and seeing the products you use I did decide to purchase and use the prismacolor markers and they are WONDERFUL! The color blending is so very easy and the colors are vibrant. Now this is almost the only marker that I use for detail work especially. Linda

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the new Prismacolor products. My daughter enjoys drawing Manga charactors and the markers would be something she would love and hopefully share with me. She is free to use all my art and stamping supplies but prefers drawing and coloring.
