I adore Autumn. I love the colurs of the leaves and that brisk chill that sends you to the long skirts and tights drawer. But my MOST favourite thing is watching the skiens of geese flying across the sky. I just find that magical.

  2. kaitaon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:28 am

My favorite thing about autumn is walking through the woods and shuffling through the wonderful colored leafes on the ground with my feet.

  3. Vickie Kertzon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:31 am

I love the colors of Autumn. I am always partial to olive green and then when you throw in golds and oranges. The trees and shades of colors that time of year are just beautiful.

I love the beautiful colors of Autumn, the smells and the cooler temperatures.

  11. Sandi Daileyon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:16 am

What is there NOT to love about Autumn. My very favorite season of the year. Yes, it rains — but the very best thing: campfires. I love the smell of burning leaves. You really enjoy the fire because it is crisp weather and it gets dark sooner so the campfire leads to friends sitting around the fire and telling stories. I could write a book on this, but I’m only suppose to leave a comment. Hugs, and totally love your blog Michelle — you’re my kind of stamper!

This is a beautiful set of stamps! Autumn is my favorite seasons! I love the colors of the leaves, I love to see the leaves on the ground (not so crazy about raking though!) and I love the temp here in he Northeast!

  13. christine brownlowon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:18 am

I love the colours of the leaves all golden and bronze they look so beautiful. This winter is special as I have my 20 monthold grandaughter to share it with, She just loves walking in the leaves and puddles with her new pink sparkly wellingtons.

  14. cat gondekon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:34 am

I love the colors of fall. I have more fall paper and fall stamp pads and fall stamps than any other season even though I probably make more Christmas and summer cards. The deep oranges and reds and yellows just speak to me in a way other colors don’t. It is kind of like summer’s last hurrah before the cold of winter sets in.

  15. Sharonaon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:38 am

I love the colors of Fall. I love to look at a sea of tress in the fall. The changing colors are absolutely breath taking. I lived in a warm, mild climate for 8 years and missed the changing of summer to fall. So glad to see it again.

  16. Karen from Ontarioon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:38 am

I think I have to say that my favourite thing about Fall is the colour. Colour all around us and that refreshing crispness in the air.

  17. Linda Vogton 20 Nov 2009 at 8:39 am

My favorite thing about autumn is the trees. When I sit at my desk, there are two trees right outside my window that just glow in the sunlight. I miss it now that the leaves have dropped! Love that stamp set, hope I’m the lucky one! :-)

What I love about Autumn are the colors of the trees as they change their colors and fall flavors like apple cider and pumpkin pies!!

  21. stampersuzzon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:41 am

Love the smell of fresh cut grass in the fall. It lingers on the crisp air. :)

  22. Anitaon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:41 am

Ditto the colors and crispness of the air: pumpkins and gourds everywhere…and my husband and I spent a photography day visiting 10 covered bridges in 45 miles in Columbia County, Pennsylvania in October. (Love your work!)

  23. Crystalon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:42 am

Living in the Mid-West I take the beautiful fall colors for granted. My niece and nephew visited from Florida and were amazed with the colors. I saw everything with a new sense of appreciation watching them! I love the crunch of leaves, the smell of a fire place to keep the house warm, the smell of baking bread and comfort food to sustain us in the cooler weather.

  24. Christy Qon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:45 am

My favorite thing about autumn is the smell of fireplaces burning in the neighborhood while I’m walking the dog, seeing the glorious sunsets as I’m coming home on the train, and the beautiful foliage as the leaves change.

  41. Karen Kingon 20 Nov 2009 at 10:12 am

Fall in the Maritimes only rivals spring. I don’t know if I love the beautiful colors of fall or the lush greens of spring. I think I am more inspired by the colors but the green grass after a long hard winter does wonders for the spirit! Thank you for all you inspirational cards and ideas.

  42. Roxieon 20 Nov 2009 at 10:16 am

I love going on our annual weekend color tour, taking the back roads and finding little scenic turnouts just perfect for picnics. Spectacular!!

I love fall because it’s a reminder of God’s goodness to us… His provision for our every need. We don’t get much fall in this part of the country, but when it does linger (like this year), it’s an extra-special blessing.

  49. Sheryl Non 20 Nov 2009 at 10:44 am

Even more than the beautiful colors of the leaves here in Michigan, I love when the trees shed their leaves and make magical shadows on the bare crunchy ground, and the smells, ummmmmmm. Would love to try out this stamp set!! Thanks for the chance at blog candy, Sheryl N.

Now that I live in Florida, I miss the Fall colors when we lived in New Hampshire. Our first fall in New Hampshire was the most memorable because all the trees were beautifully colored in shades of golds and red . . . one being more beautiful than the other. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

The clear, crisp, cool air mixed with the warmth of the autumn sun and the golden reds and glorious golds of the trees, it just doesn’t get any better than that. Now raking up all those leaves after they fall … well that’s another story.

Autumn is such a gorgeous time of year! It reminds me that God paints a picture for us to enjoy every day in nature, but we fail to stop long enough to see it. The vibrant colors of the fall leaves looks like he has poured out his paint pallette all over the world for all of us to see and enjoy. Fall is a time of thankfullness, hay rides, cool mornings and sunny afternoons. God’s love and art is all around us!

There is so much to love about autumn, the lovely colored trees, the crunch of the leaves under your feet on a fall walk, the crisp fall air, the wonderful variety of fall apples that we are lucky to have here in Minnesota. The only thing not magical about fall is the endless raking, but then that helps to make the first snowfall a welcome sight. Sandy Andersen

  93. Davion 20 Nov 2009 at 11:32 am

Here in the desert we have extreme heat in the summers so when autumn finally arrives its such a blessing. We dont have beautiful fall colors like other placesT but the nights begin to cool and the sun has lost its searing heat. All the plants perk up and everyone is happy!! Thanks for th opportunity to win that beautiful set of leaves. :)

  96. Pam Browneon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:33 am

I just love this stamp set! My favorite things about autumn are the cooler, crisper temperatures and the colors of the foliage and harvest vegetables. I grew up in Maine, so fall was known as “sweater weather”. You didn’t have to bundle up as you did for the winter, but you needed something to keep you warm. I loved taking rides to view the foliage. With the mountains in that area, nature’s display was always breathtaking. I loved to go with my mother to pick bittersweet to decorate the house with. After I moved here (Virginia) I looked forward to going to Williamsburg and having hot cider and gingerbread cookies as we walked the old city and checked out the Christmas decorations. … mmmm, such nice memories.

  97. Laura Turneron 20 Nov 2009 at 11:34 am

The very best thing about my autumn is taking an annual vacation with my husband and going to see family accross the Southern US. Georgia, South Carolina, Kentuky, Arkansas. The leaves, the cold, the snow sometimes, the family, the hours in the car with hubby just talking and taking care of each other. It’s the very best.

Thanks for the opportunity to win! Love your tutorials and wish you a Thanksgiving time like mine!

  114. Patti Jacobson 20 Nov 2009 at 11:42 am

I love the crisp, cool mornings of Autumn. I live in the upper Mojave desert of California, where we have 110-115 degree temps in August. I do get to experience some color changes in the trees that people have planted, but the desert is pretty drab. My favorite colors have always been …rust, brown, tan, gold, and reds; all the colors of Autumn. I would love to have this Stampin-Up stamp set. TFS, Patti Jacobs

  133. Gail Kinsellaon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:48 am

I love the smells and colors of Autumn. It brings back childhood memories of piling the leaves as high as we could get them so that we could run and jump into the large pile just to go rake them back up again and do it over, and over, and over again. It’s the smell of the leaves burning on a crispy autumn day of families together and I try to recreate that some memory with my grand children. It’s a good thing….It’s a family together memory………it’s a child hood memory

  134. Pattyon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:49 am

Fall is my favorite season, as we finally get some relief from the heat and humidity of the summer here in NC. I love to sit on my front porch and watch all the beautifully colored dancing leaves as they float through the air. 145. Caroleon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:53 am

What wonderfu blog candy! Thanks for giving us a chance.
I adore autumn for many reasons - the colors, as many have said, the crispness in the air, the leaves and other assorted foilage that changes this time of year.
But what I love most of all is that every year it is all of those constants in nature that remind me that what I have to be most thankful for is a loving God who brings all of these things (and more) to pass in their time and season.
many blessings to you and yours for a wonderful holiday season!

  185. Betty aka ZacksNanaon 20 Nov 2009 at 12:18 pm

    Michelle:
This is an EASY one for me. For the past 4 years my hubs, daughters, grandson, parents and sis have all gone away for Thanksgiving. We start looking early in August for a cabin in the woods near water so we can spend 4 to 7 days together for our Thanksgiving holidays. We’ve spent two Thanksgivings in cabins in Oklahoma and two Thanksgivings in Texas. We are staying in Texas again this year in between the towns of Grand Saline and Mineola. We gather for family, food and fun! We spend time playing games, eating holiday meal and leftovers and visiting scenic sites wherever we stay. The fall color is always a warm welcome to all of us and we simply emjoy being together. We are “Thankful” that Daddy survived his 5 bypasses in August of 2007. We are “Thankful” that aged 81 and 78 both Mom and Dad are still able to make the trip up here from south Louisiana. We are “Thankful” for our children and grandson being happy and healthy and with us too. We are “Thankful” that my sis is healthy and able to drive up from south Texas and spend this week with us too. We are “Thankful” that my hibs and I have been married for 30+ years and we are still happy and healthy (for the most part) together.
I LOVE this time of year. Yes it is the time when all the green things are dying or going dormant for the winter. But in that change is the promise that in the Spring, it will all come back new and beautiful again.
Thanks for the opp. to win some free stuff.

What a lovely set of leaves! And look how many people think the same thing!!!
Favorite thing about fall? That’s easy. I love how the light changes as it lays across the landscape; I love the smell of the earth and the way the leaves smell as they turn colors and begin to fall. I especially love the warmth of the sunlight with just the hint of coolness in the breeze.

  205. Kimon 20 Nov 2009 at 12:39 pm

Everything - the cooler days, the fall colors, the decorations, the baking on rainy days, mums, the driving in the country with my husband just to look at the trees….

It would probably be easier to list the things about fall I don’t like - actually I can’t think of anything right now.

  206. StampinLDRNon 20 Nov 2009 at 12:40 pm

I love the colors of fall. The blazing reds, bursting oranges, and brilliant yellows. They make the hills look alive! The scents of the fires burning in fireplaces in the area. Cool crisp days with bright sunshine. The hint of what is yet to come.

OMG! I love this stamp set! My fav thing about autumn is the lovely colors that tint the leaves before they fall off the trees.

  212. Kim Starkon 20 Nov 2009 at 12:43 pm

My most vivid memory was just last fall as a friend and I journeyed to Seattle for teh weekend in late Oct. All the trees were shades off gold/orange and red. We crossed over a bridge that look sand feels liek it is floating on teh water and all teh trees on the hills were reflecting onto teh water so you got a mirrors image. It was truly breathtaking. Since I live in Vancouver you need to embrace the rain -fall is also best because I love bundling up and having an excuse to wear my uggs everywhere
    Kim

Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year. It’s the crisp air but warm sunshine. It’s the time of year I celebrate my wedding anniversary.

I love harvest time! It’s the time of year that you reap the fruits of your labor. Hearing the combines run, the trators roar and the grain rattling it ways into storage bins is like no other. It’s during this time of year supper is delivered and served in the fields. Every night is like another picnic!

What a wonderful time to spread the spirit of Thanksgiving.

I love the smell of leaves; whether they are being raked in a pile or burned in the garden - Yes! We can still burn leaves in our small Illinois village. I remember the smell of burning leaves as a child and it is a scent that brings back so many memories! We would rake the leaves; jump in the pile; rake again and finally deliver the leaves to the burn pile in large blankets that dad kept in the garage just for carrying leaves. The air was crisp and we could run and play without getting sweaty. As we grew older, Dad would let us tend the fire and we would burn every last vestive of leaf until there were only ashes left. I cannot smell burning leaves this day without immediately going back in past! I love autumn!
    Jill

AHHHH Autumn Splendor! I love this time of year sooo much. I had my senior pix taken this time of year many moons ago just for the colors and feel of the air. It still is my ultimate favorite time of year, the colors, weather and general feel of getting back into crafting.

  301. Megan NZon 20 Nov 2009 at 2:15 pm

leaves leaves leaves. I love the leaves colour, sound when you stand on them, watching them fall anything about leaves I love. please enter me

  302. patricia farmeron 20 Nov 2009 at 2:15 pm

Fall means exactly that. Fall into that pile of leaves you just raked. Fall into your favorite Holiday routines. Fall back with the stupid time change. Fall down on your b*** while walking across the ice and snow. But just think fall spelled backward is llaf (laugh)! So just remember as the days get shorter and we slip and slide while out grocery shopping for our favorite holidays, or we spend hours raking leaves only to have the wind take them over to the neighbors yard…..don’t forget to llaf.

I have been crazy about this set since I saw that beautiful card you did with it a few weeks ago. I love autumn for the gorgeous colors and cool weather. Now that I live back in Florida, we don’t get to experience it as much. I hope I win!

Autumn has always been my favorite time of the year. I always associated new beginnings with Autumn with the start of the new school year, new clothes, making new friends! Most of my life I lived in the Pacific NW and I loved the bright colors of the changing leave contrasted to the deep rich green of giant fir trees and brilliant blue skies! Now that I live in the Arizona desert I like Autumn for the cooler temps! Thanks for the opportunity to win this beautiful stamp set! Love it!!!

  308. Connie S.on 20 Nov 2009 at 2:21 pm

I love Autumn as much as I love the Winter time. You know winter will be soon after. I love to go up north in MI at my parents cabin on the lake. The colors of all the trees are so brilliant in colors. And the smell of wood burners and burning leafs brings back some good memories.

Thank you for the chance to win this lovley stamp set.

My favorite thing about Autumn — is the fact that we no longer have 110 degree weather! It’s cooled down into the 70’s finally!

  310. Kimberlyon 20 Nov 2009 at 2:24 pm

Just like sunsets and sunrises Autumn gives us a glimpse of gods artwork. Sometimes I am baffled at all the colors… knowing that in a short time with cooler weather we will be on to another canvas from Him.

  311. Beckyon 20 Nov 2009 at 2:24 pm

My favorite thing about autumn is the beautiful colors God has created for us. I also enjoy eating the autumn foods such as sweet potatoes, pumpkin anything, and pumpkin spice cappucino. YUMMMMM. My favorite thing about autumn is the beautiful colors. All the colors blend in to prize winning art!

  314. Linda won 20 Nov 2009 at 2:27 pm

The most memorable thing about autumn would have to be the colors. I look at a tree and see all the color, texture, and depth and I know that there is no way I could copy that splendor. Just looking at all the shading and color variations on a single tree makes me appreciate the beauty of nature. I have to take those memories with me to carry me through the long winter ahead.

    thanks much

  315. lauraon 20 Nov 2009 at 2:30 pm

well who doesn’t like anything to do with leaves, trees and nature. I shall throw my name into that random number generated hat for this one.

Autumn……in the pacific NW it isn’t as beautiful as the east but it still is a fun time of year. Oregon has mostly soggy leaves but on those sunny days when the wind is lightly blowing, my woods ’snows’ leaves and it is so beautiful! Of all the stamps in my collection, flowers and leaves top the list. I love this set….thanks for the opportunity to win!

  326. Cynthiaon 20 Nov 2009 at 2:50 pm

My favourite thing about Autumn is watching my kids (and all the others from the neighbourhood) rake up piles of leaves and then go jumping into them. They go door-to-door, asking the neighbours if they can rake their leaves for them….then they gather up all the leaves from close-by properties, make a massive pile, and all the kids from near and far have a blast. Autumn just wouldn’t be the same without the giggles and laughs of little kids as they enjoy this yearly tradition!

WOW! What do I love about Autumn! The changing leaves, the falling leave, piling them up and jumping in, the clean yard afterwards. As if that isn’t enough there’s the beautiful bare trees resting to get ready for the fresh bloom in the Spring. The lighting of the wood stove and the smell of the wood burning, I love it all.

I love the colors of autumn. I love to take my walk amongst the gorgeous trees, and every day they change into another array of colors. Our house is all decorated in the fall colors starting in September: jolly scarecrows, cute pumpkins, bright colored leaves, etc. The air gets cooler, it starts to rain, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Yes, I have a lot of stamps for fall but not the set you are offering. Would love to win it! Thanks for being so generous! Happy Thanksgiving!

Sitting on a hill overlooking fields of green, orange, yellow and red. Sitting next to your loved ones, laughing and admiring the turning of the leaves. This time of year is so beautiful with the colors. The best part this year is watching my new puppy jumping in the leaf piles and chasing them in the wind. Such joy a little one can make. I really enjoy making the fall stamps.

  340. Mary Hon 20 Nov 2009 at 3:02 pm

I grew up on the east coast and loved the changing of colors!! We do not get that in southern CA, but when there is the nip in the air and the coolness of the breeze - it does bring it all back! Leaves are my absolute favorite - I don’t care where you live, colored leaves signify fall and the coming of the holidays!! Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving.

I love this set but don’t have it. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I miss the colors that I got to see every year when I lived in the Midwest. California has color but nothing like the Midwest or New England. This set would get a lot of use at my house.

  352. Kathy Kunnemannon 20 Nov 2009 at 3:23 pm

I love Autumn. Being from south Florida, it means cooler temps, possibly in the 80’s. That’s “cooler” to we Floridians. The ocean breeze picks up and the smell of fresh, salty air is exhilarating. That is the time for long walks on the beach when your feet won’t burn in the sand; listening to the seagulls cry out. They even know when it’s Autumn. Happy Thanksgiving, Michelle!

Autumn is like the late evening when everything is getting ready to go to sleep. It’s a calming quiet time and I enjoy it immensly. Besides it’s a busy birthday time for us. Libra’s are such balanced people. A true joy! I love cooking and the fall is such a great time for that. The harvest reminds us of the upcomming hibernation!

    Hello,

Thank you for the opportunity to win this great SU set, Michelle!

My favorite part of autumn is taking a great walk and strolling through the crunchy leaves, plus I love looking at the vibrant colors of the leaves either when walking or taking a drive to see those leaves. I have great memories of going to my great grandmother’s house where she had some big oak trees in the front, and playing in piles of leaves that had fallen. I haven’t thought of that for decades! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to recall such a warm memory.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    Blessings,

    Joanne

Blog candy, I love blog candy. And to combine blog candy and fall, too fab!! My favorite thing in the fall is to see all the crabapple trees after they have lost there leaves. The fruit is so beautiful on the bare trees. We had 50 cedar waxwings on our sugartyme crabapple just last weekend. So fun to sit and watch them sneak the berries and pass them back and forth before eatting them.

  382. Davette Thompsonon 20 Nov 2009 at 4:26 pm

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. When the leaves are changing they are so beautiful. It is a time where I reflect on what has happened throughout the year and what I can change in the coming year. I like to relax on the front step with a hot cup of coffee and just enjoy the scenery.

Do you remember back to when we did “our colors”? You were either a winter, summer, spring, or autumn? I dressed in autumn colors because I loved them — and I was a winter! I am drawn like a magnet to the cs packs with fall colors and leaves, leaves, leaves ! And you do such a lovely job on all your seasonal cards, especially the fall ones. kk

Hi! thanks for being so generous!! I would love this set if I am lucky enough to win!

  395. Cathy Peperon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:00 pm

Usually my favorite thing about Autumn is the weather, but this year…not so much. So for this year, I will choose Halloween.

  396. Randy Rimingtonon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:06 pm

I live in up state New York and so I am in the heart of beautiful maple trees. The hillsides look like they are on fire in the fall. I never tire of the glory of it all. However, one of my favorite things is the apple cider, caramel apples, apple pie, etc. Just biting into a juicy apple is heaven to me. Thanks for a chance to win the awesome stamp set Autumn Splendor.

  397. Char- Don 20 Nov 2009 at 5:08 pm

The colors of the changing leaves is the best part about autumn.

  398. Kelleyon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:12 pm

    We live in NH, my favorite part of Autumn is Peak Folliage when all the leaves turn vibrant reds, yellows, oranges. It is a beautifl site, especially in the mountaings, but also a sad day when the last leaf falls as winter is upon us…. Pick me, pick me!! 8-}

  399. Connieon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:13 pm

Michelle, don’t you just love the “smells” of autumn: leaves, cold air, fireplace smoke; food cooking! What could be better than that!! Connie

  400. Sharon Mcon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:18 pm

My most favorite thing this Autumn was taking your brayer class in Nashville! I LOVED it and learned so much! Thanks for the chance to win terrific “candy”!!!

  401. Sylvia Johnsonon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:19 pm

I love the crispness in the air, the beautiful leaves on the trees, the smell of the air. I am fortunate to be able to live in the country. I am thankful for the crisp apples and the tart cider. Fall is Mother Earth preparing for Old Man Winter. I am thankful for God and country. Thanks for the op to get a free set of stamps!

  402. alexandraon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:19 pm

I love Autumn, the beautiful colours of the trees especially with sunlight shining through and around them intensifying the colours, before the last nip of frost strips them bare. I love the smell of Autumn & the crackle of leaves under my feet, and the beautiful carpet of russet, golds and amber leaves as far as you can see along the paths under the canope of trees when I walk my dogs.
I love watching my dogs behaving like kids wanting to plough through the blown leaves in piles along the path, being nosey to smell the wildlife who’ve visited the same pile of leaves before them, to see the last sight of the squirrels collecting nuts and acorns before the winter gets harsh.
It’s all good, it makes me want to create.
Nature inspires Art, and you inspire us Michelle.
Thanks for the chance of winning this lovely set.
    Alexandra

  409. Valarie Floreron 20 Nov 2009 at 5:41 pm

My favorite thing about Autumn is, of course, the colors! And since living in Florida, the relief from the heat and humidity, although I do love warmth, and hate cold, which is the reason I am here, so would never complain about the summer!!

  410. linda pattion 20 Nov 2009 at 5:41 pm

  414. Idaon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:52 pm

I love “everything” about Fall/Autumn but my favorite thing to do is shuffle through all the leaves after they have fallen and hear the crunchy sound they make. It’s a beatiful time of year.

  415. Karenon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:53 pm

This is a fabulous set! Thanks for being so generous! I love the cool, crisp mornings, warm afternoons, the smells and colors of the changing leaves, and the kids going back to school! :o) I got married in September, so I also love celebrating our anniversary by going up north to enjoy hiking through the beautiful Superior National Forest in full Autumn bloom (& sometimes snow!).

  416. Wendy Swenneon 20 Nov 2009 at 5:55 pm

  422. kathy braggeron 20 Nov 2009 at 6:12 pm

The best thing about autumn is the colors… The changing of the leaves are spectaculor in my next of the woods, Canada… I love walking through a pile of leaves. It brings out the child in me…..

  423. ReneeGon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:14 pm

Autumn is a season of change. When leaves change from a bright green to golds and reds, when the weeds turn from obtrusive to incongruent and when sweaters come out of hiding to provide warmth. Red skies and crisp blue mornings full of crackling fires and the smell of mulled cider. These are all the things I love about the season of Autumn. Not to mention that all my favorite stamp sets are ones with foliage.

  424. Margaret Thompsonon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:15 pm

My favorite thing about Autumn is being able to actually see and watch the color changing of those big Maple leaves although it is not as intense here in Ontario, California as it was in Long Island, New York where I grew up. But it sure brings back those good memories from my childhood and how we kids would rake the fallen leaves into the biggest pile we could then run thru it, stomp in it and throw them at each other! Oh for those GOOD memories and how I love nature!
    Margaret

  425. Jill Tayloron 20 Nov 2009 at 6:16 pm

There are many reasons I love Autumn. The colors of the leaves and the sound they make when you walk on them. The cooler weather, even though I don’t see much of it. I love Autumn because that is when the fair usually comes to town and that is a whole other list. My favorite holidays are in Autumn (Halloween, Thanksgiving, My B-Day). It is when my husband and I met. The kids are back in school. I like the colors of the wildflowers that bloom in Autumn (Golden Rod and Black Eyed Susans). The nights are longer. There are just so many reasons and I could probably list more after thinking about it awhile.

Thanks for the chance to win the Autumn Splendor set.

  426. joyceon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:16 pm

A while back I was at a stamp meet, we used leaf stamps with matalic inks to stamp the background on black cardstock. These would be perfect for that. The project was beautiful for cards and or scrapbooking pages.

  427. Jodieon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:20 pm

I love Fall and I love candy, especially stampin up candy.

  428. Cherylon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:20 pm

Autumn is quite simply my favorite time of year. I love it so much that my husband and I chose to get married in November. I love the colors, the smells, the nip in the air and the unique blue sky you only get on clear autumn days.

  429. Peggyon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:21 pm

I love this stamp set as well. I love spring and summer, but I’m usually ready for cooler weather when fall arrives. August is very sultry and hot and when the leaves begin to turn from green to red, gold and brown it is a welcomed sight because it means there will be a relief from the heat. And, of course, the color of the leaves are the best part of fall. Fall is one of nature’s most beautiful season, I think, and I enjoy it until the last leaf falls.

  430. Sally Croweon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:26 pm

What I love about Fall is the end of the hot sweaty days and the beautiful colors.

  431. Theresa Wrighton 20 Nov 2009 at 6:28 pm

We have the most intense colors in the trees this year in California! The crisp air, the snuggly warm drowsy feeling right before you have to get up…all these things are favorites!

  432. farida jararahon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:28 pm

This is a beautiful set. Autumn is my favorite season for its earth tones. I love the reds, oranges, yellows, and light greens. I grew up in New York, and now live in Florida. Now, it is summer all year round. I miss autumn and wearing sweaters!

  441. Linda Lipfordon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:44 pm

What I love about Autumn is the change from the flowers of summer to the colors and flowers of a cooler season. I especially love pansies and violas. I do not love going off daylight savings time though!

  442. Audrey Hon 20 Nov 2009 at 6:50 pm

  445. Annon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:03 pm

I like the colors the best, how the reds, golds & greens blend together. I don’t like that the colder weather reminds me that winter is coming.

Thanks for a chance to win this beautiful set.

  446. Cathy Brandton 20 Nov 2009 at 7:03 pm

I so appreciate you giving us the opportunity to win Blog Candy….which is almost as good as Live Chocolate! Have a great weekend….L.

  454. Jacqui Don 20 Nov 2009 at 7:30 pm

I grew up in CA where we didn’t really have seasons, just “almost summer”, “summer” and “summer’s over”. Now, due to my job, I’ve had a chance to live all over the world and experience the different seasons. Each has it’s own beauty. But fall is my favorite. It has the most beautiful, vibrant colors and the air is so crisp and clean smelling. There is a carpet of color beneath my feet and I can see the mountains so clearly. For me, fall is rejuvenating and I love it.

I just wanted to say, your cards are art and I wish I had half the creative genius you have. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and giving me an inkling how to catch some of the beauty you see in cards.

  455. Deb Thayeron 20 Nov 2009 at 7:33 pm

I love the sound of the leaves while walking through them on the sidewalks,
the houses with pumpkins, the lightposts with cornstalks, and finding my gloves!
    Love your blog…
    Many blessings!

  456. Claireon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:34 pm

  459. Stephanie Perryon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:45 pm

I LOVE this stamp set and would be so thrilled to win it!!! My favorite season is autumn; the changing colors of the leaves just makes my heart sing, as they go from green to gold to red or rust. Just beautiful. The tough part is the clean up, but it’s a chance to get outside in the cooler air and get a workout! Fall also means the holidays and shopping and baking and decorating. So fun every year!

  460. Monica Mon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:53 pm

    Hi,
I love the crisp air and the colors of the leaves—the bright reds mixed with the oranges with yellows and greens. Wish all the trees could keep their leaves off my lawn though!!!!

  461. Pat Bargeron 20 Nov 2009 at 7:54 pm

    Blessings to You

  462. Leeon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:55 pm

The best thing that I love about autumn is the colors of the leaves & the smell! I’m originally from Ohio, but I’ve been in Colorado for over 20 years. We don’t have anything close to the colors that I remember from back east. Our highlight in the fall here is the brilliant golds of the aspens turning.

  463. Sunshineon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:55 pm

My favourite thing about Autumn is the light. There is nothing as golden as the sun on an Autumn afternoon.

  464. Sandy Hillon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:57 pm

My favorite part of autumn is the changing colors of the leaves. I love how they start out green, then start turning yellowish and from there to a reddish copper color. Up here in the northwest, the colors are beautiful. I would absolutely love to win this stamp set. I can just imagine all the wonderful things I can do with it.

  465. Dottie McCrawon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:58 pm

I love the wonderful smell of Autumn and all the beautiful colors that God creates in the trees and shrubs. It’s like God is putting the landscape to bed for the winter.

  466. Dion 20 Nov 2009 at 7:58 pm

I love the crisp, dry air of autumn and the beautiful scenery created by the colorful Fall trees. Autumn is my favorite season and my favorite thing to do in Autumn is to travel to the northern part of the state, leaf peaking! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to win this delightful set!

  467. Eileen Mon 20 Nov 2009 at 7:59 pm

I love walks on crisp fall days, sun shining, leaves rustling. Autumn is a wonderful time of year. (Doesn’t hurt that my birthday is in the fall, too!)
Thanks for a chance to win!

  468. Robyn Aon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:00 pm

Autumn is always special, I especially love the changing of the trees, but it is also my wedding anniversary, so it is my most precious time of year. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a beautiful set to recreate this time of year.

  469. SueBon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:05 pm

Thanx for the inspiration and t’riffic blog candy opp! My fav thing about autumn is probably that it’s my sister’s fav season … I enjoy the changes of seasons (for the most part, LOL!) and think winter makes me more appreciate spring, summer and fall!

I’m a sucker for leaves, and love the beautiful colors, crisp scents, and get-togethers with family over Thanksgiving! Have a great weekend!

  470. Sharonon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:06 pm

I love this set! I have had my eye on it since it came out. The oak leaf and the maple leaf are my favorites in this set. Would love to emboss & color & play with this set!

  471. Rockin Robin Caldwellon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:07 pm

There are several things I like about fall: the crisp coolness of the days, the color of the leaves as they are still on the trees, and the “quality/character” of the sunlight. It actually appears more “clear” to me. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying about the “crisp, clear” autumn days. The sunshine just looks different to me. I also love the smells. What I don’t like about the fall is that it gets dark sooner, and after the leaves are all off the trees, and it is dark, and damp towards the end…just before the snow comes…it can be kind of depressing cuz it’s so gloomy!! Hisses, Rockin Robin Caldwell (stampinsavage at yahoo dot com).

  472. carolon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:10 pm

ASutumn;’s hues and smells of baking apple pies and spices and picking apples. Nothing is better. I would love a chance to win the stamp set. Carol Boire

  473. karen keiperon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:15 pm

My favourite thing about autumn is that you can still go swimming and on picnics and then come home and snuggle in front of the fire when it cools down at night.

  474. Lee Annon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:15 pm

Believe it or not, we love Autumn in Hawaii too. We don’t have the splendor of all those changing colors on our trees but we have a bit of it and the weather starts to cool down which is nice.

  475. Valerie Marieon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:22 pm

    The smells. Definitely the smells!

  476. Scrapycandyon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:28 pm

My favorite thing about Autumn are the fall colors…everywhere I look..oranges, reds, yellows! So wonderful…and then the winds come and the colors disappear….:(

  477. Diane Ouelletteon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:29 pm

Oh my…Fall is a very popular season! It fills the senses with wonderful color, and because of the fallen leaves, you hear the scurrying squirrels hiding their cache. The temperature is perfect. The only thing I don’t like is the dark coming earlier! As for the SU! set, those leaves capture Autumn beautifully. I would be REAL happy if my name was drawn. Thank you for the opportunity! You do wonderful art and I await your tutorials.

  478. Kathy L.on 20 Nov 2009 at 8:32 pm

Just one favorite thing…………..I think I have o go with high piles of crunch leaves to dive into with children. Tooooooo much fun.

And this set would be the perfect representation of that!

    Fingers crossed,
    Kathy L.

  479. Cindyon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:33 pm

I love the colors along with the cooling temps. Don’t get me wrong; I hate it when it’s really cold and there is snow but without the cooling temps the leaves don’t change colors. Everything seems so rich with the grains in the fields ripening and the farmers harvesting it just seems to complete a cycle in life.

  480. Trish Hernandezon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:34 pm

Autumn - what’s not to love? Rich colors, warm days and chilly nights, the crunch of dry leaves underfoot and the amazing aromas of apple everything, the gift of Thanksgiving and the promise of Christmas. Yes! Indeed! the best season of all!

  481. The Other Dianeon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:36 pm

I love this set!!!!! and I’ve been meaning to order it. My favorite part of Autumn is the colorful leaves and gorgeous, vibrant colors of the hills and mountains of upstate NY. The air smells so crisp too. Those are the reasons I always sign up for an October weekend at Girl Scout camp. Thanks for the opportunity Michelle.

  482. chris gearyon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:37 pm

I love the change in the weather and the vibrant color on the trees.

  483. Carol Ton 20 Nov 2009 at 8:47 pm

When the leaves change color. I enjoy walking down our road & seeing the different colors that have appeared. All the yellows, rust, reds, & greens. God’s special paintings!

  484. Sherion 20 Nov 2009 at 8:49 pm

I love the crisp days and cool nights of the autumn . After a summer of heat and humidity it is a welcome time in Nebraska. What I don’t like is raking up the leaves and by the time you get everything put away it looks like it has never been touched. Now these leaves are so different I love them!

  485. martineon 20 Nov 2009 at 8:52 pm

I love Autumn! Here in Arizona, all it really brings is much cooler weather, unless you venture up north when the leaves change colour, and snow comes later in the season. I love watching my children and grandchildren toss and tumble the fluffy white snow. It’s the perfect backdrop for family pictures. Having been raised in England, I miss the crisp chilly day’s. The dew covering everything, and my breath coming out in cloud’s. As a child I loved the bird print’s in the snow.

  486. Shar Won 20 Nov 2009 at 8:55 pm

My favorite thing about Autumn? I enjoy getting back into the swing of things at school with a new group of students, and seeing the pretty colors of the leaves that are on the trees- I guess I also like seeing the leaves fall from the trees into everyone else’s yard- then we don’t have to rake *wink*

    Enjoy the weekend!
    Happy Stampin’

The most I love about Autumn? The beautiful colors the sunny cold days, the smell of fresh rain. Autumn is my absolute favorite season of the year!

  492. Connieon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:04 pm

I love all the different colors that Autumn treats us with. When I am coming home, and I top the hill by my house, you see this breathtaking view of the woods in all its colorful glory. It is one of God’s “freebie” gifts.

  493. Mary Janeon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:04 pm

Living in SW Florida, Autumn is something I have to work hard at to remember. When I get to missing it too much, we take a trip north to see the leaves change. Stamping helps me re-create some of that feeling. Thanks for the tutorials to show more ways to do that.

  494. Debbie Gon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:07 pm

There’s a lot to love about autumn… the leaves turning red, orange, and gold, the frost on the grass early in the morning, the crisp, cool air, picking apples in the orchard, and drinking hot apple cider.

  495. Nancyon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:13 pm

What I love most is everything. Autumn is the best - the colors, the food, the cooler weather - it is my favorite season!

  496. gailon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:14 pm

Hello, Michelle, Autumn is my most favorite season of the year, even thos I am a gardener and Love the spring time for the planting and renewal. The fall with all its colors, scents and memories of trick-or-treating with family and friends, the large and small family get togethers for Thanksgiving over the years is just the best. Thank you for sharing all of your talent. gail

  497. Saraon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:15 pm

I love the smell of autumn - leaves and campfires, what could be better. Not to mention the colors of autumn are awesome as well. It’s such a great time to get outdoors and experience nature!

  498. Diane Hamiltonon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:20 pm

My favorite thing about autumn is the blue skies, clear crisp mornings and all the beautiful colors. It brings back fond memories of when we were kids raking big piles of leaves and jumping in the piles. Simplier times.

  499. Melissa (SCS: Stampin_Melissa)on 20 Nov 2009 at 9:24 pm

Hmmm, my favorite thing about autumn would be the Indian Summers here in the Mid-West. Or perhaps the wonderful eats at Thanksgiving. Is it okay to have two? :)

Thanks for the opportunity to win! I think you are so sweet to not only share your talent with us, but blog candy as well!

  500. Dawnon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:26 pm

I love lots of things about Autumn but I suppose my favorite would have to be the apples. Apple pie making, applesauce making, apple crisp…you name it I like to work with apples, but really like eating them.

  501. Gillianon 20 Nov 2009 at 9:27 pm

    Hi Michele!
I never tire of your tutorials! Just so amazing! I keep wondering where you get your inspiration!
My favorite thing about fall is the weather, and the lovely leaves turning. I have been all over the United States in the falls of my life, and when the trees turn those beautiful colors, I am always amazed!
In Colorado the Aspens make a lovely sound when their leaves turn crisp and the wind blows through them. Along with the wind through the pines and the firs, it is just wonderful to experience. The hues and colors are glorious!
In Iowa, the Mighty Oaks really turn the most awesome colors! I love the oranges and reds of the oaks as they turn!
In Arkansas, the desiduous trees of the Ozarks always amaze me by their turning colors.
Now in Missouri, the northern part of the Ozarks are always the most beautiful. Fall is my favorite season. The weather is so nice, hiking is the best, and the outdoors is the best place to be when the fall season is in full swing!

Here where I am in New Zealand we do not get the colours that many of you see, but we still get loads of leaves, and I love scuffing through them when they heap up - even though I am the ‘wrong side’ of 50 :-).

I love what colours we do get, and I love stamping with leaf stamps as they are so versitile!

Thanks for the chance of some blog candy - again.

Hope I win. Thanks for the opportunity, Michelle! Thank for this blog candy and the chance of winning!

  515. Victoria Stevenson 20 Nov 2009 at 10:30 pm

Autumn… oh what a season!! Nature shows us all her colors on the trees, the under growth, the weeds…. Beautiful. Then it all goes to sleep in all it’s barreness, only to re-awaken in the spring to go thru the process again. There is nothing to compare to living in areas where you can experience this wonder. The sky also is so different in the fall. Love, love, love the seasons, especially fall. We try to create this in our card crafts. Sometimes we think we are close, but ??
Thanks for the chance to win this set from stampin up! Blessings, Victoria

I look forward to seeing all my family during Thanksgiving and sharing good food, fellowship and memories. Thanks so much for giving us this chance to win the stamp set. It’s lovely.

Autumn is the most colorful time of the year. It’s as if Nature is putting on one last glorious show before the long winter’s sleep. My favorite holiday, Halloween (which is also my wedding anniversary) takes place in the fall. It is the signal that the holdays are upon us and the annual gathering of family and friends will soon take place. What’s not to love about Autumn.

being able to kick the falling leaves up in the wind and watch them fall back to the ground just so I can do it again. This blog candy just reminds me of the falling leaves that are so beautiful in color and falling.

My favorite things about autumn? The cool, clear, crisp air. The bright blue skies contrasting with the colorful leaves, the sound of leaves as you walk through them, even the smell in the air. My least favorite thing ~ cold, damp, dismal days that lead to winter! Love this set. Thanks for the chance.

  530. Marshaon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:27 pm

I love the colors! I carry home beautifully colored leaves I find on my walks and place them on the windowsill in my stamp room for inspiration. Autumn is my favorite season.

  531. Mitzion 20 Nov 2009 at 11:30 pm

Favorite thing about fall??? Well, let’s see… it is my birthday season for one thing. As a child I always looked forward to that. I love leaves: their colors, falling to the ground waiting to be raked, how they smell when burning, walking through them to hear their rustling. Oh, yes, watching kids having fun jumping into a huge pile of raked leaves. Brings back good memories. Mitzi

    Hi Michelle!
You ALWAYS have the coolest blog candy!
My favorite thing about autumn is the way the air smells. It is a mix of leftover summer and oncoming winter. Here in the south, we get to experience it a little longer than most. Lucky me!

  533. hannahon 20 Nov 2009 at 11:33 pm

I love the way the wind smells on a sunny day when the leaves are beginning to fall. Sitting in front of a fire sipping cocoa and reading a book is also a favorite fall thing to do as well. Thank you for all that you do for us.

My favourite part of Autumn is watching the leaves change colour.

  544. Jannette Davison 21 Nov 2009 at 12:14 am

I’m all for the leaves turning all kinds of wonderful colors. But my favorite thing is the smells! Yes from the wood stoves keeping us warm, to the coffee or hot cocoa you might want to drink. Having that chill in the morning air just so you can throw another log on the fire.

  555. Colleenon 21 Nov 2009 at 12:38 am

oops. sorry. ha ha. My favorite thing about the Autumn is when I’m able to spend it at my cabin. The silence of the fall out there ( central Manitoba ) is peaceful. The leaves turning and the hustle and bustle of the Summer vacationers is over. Crunching of leaves, the smell of the water from the now vacant beach. Totally wonderful. If my cabin was winterized I would be there all year!

  556. Debbie Scheunemannon 21 Nov 2009 at 12:38 am

My favorite thing about autumn? That’s easy. Food. I love autumn food. That means squash soups and casseroles. Chicken and dumplings. Chili cooking all day in the crockpot with hot cornbread for dinner.

  557. Katherineon 21 Nov 2009 at 12:54 am

When I lived in the midwest many years ago, autumn to me was the beautiful changing of the leaves. Now that I’ve lived in the desert southwest longer than anywhere else in my life, it means I can finally turn off my air conditioner and leave my doors and windows open all day without sweating profusely. This is such a beautiful time of year.

  584. Barbara Phelpson 21 Nov 2009 at 7:46 am

Every since I was a little girl, Autumn’s been my favorite. Not only because of its extraordinary color, but for its clear blue sky, no humidity, few bugs, soft breezes and often times bright sunshine, and wonderful sunsets. And also for Autumn’s incredible textures. I enjoy seeing the cropland with its crusty cornstalks and rusting soybeans, along with the starkness of the leafless weeds and withering dry grasses, which deliver varying shades of terra cotta, gold, and brown.

I love the smell of Fall. I was born in September, and Fall is my favorite season. I grew up in Western New York on a 150 acre farm, high in the hills. When you looked across the valley, all the different colors of leaves were just awesome. They took your breath away. It was like a Monet painting.

  586. KTon 21 Nov 2009 at 8:00 am

I love every season when it arrives. I love the fall colors and raking leaves, the cooler temps and the beautiful fall days.

  587. Jean Fitchon 21 Nov 2009 at 8:11 am

Favorite thing about Autumn….Crisp cool weather, fresh picked apples, mist winding around and on the mountains surrounding my narrow valley and of course the Holiday Mini!

Thanks for offering such a wonderful stamp set. Hope I win so I can recreate some of your fantabulous designs!

    Hugs and blessings - Jean

I think the aroma of burning leaves is my favorite thing about autumn. Football games and hay rides and hot dog roasts………….such fun activities to enjoy outdoors before the snow starts to fly………………
Beautiful time in Central Ohio !!!

  589. Karen Neugebaueron 21 Nov 2009 at 8:20 am

My favorite part of Autumn is reflecting on when my grandfather would take us through the woods at peak season. He would point out and name all the different flowers, that we would pick for a bouquet for my mom and grandmother. He would then let us sit on the mossy grass and look up at the trees. It seemed that the colors were changing as we watched, with the leaves falling, and the sun peek-a-booing through the trees. I miss those times, but the memories leave me with a smile.

  590. Lianne Carperon 21 Nov 2009 at 8:44 am

I love to see the colors changing in Autumn. I love being able to open my doors and windows and not worry about the hot summer heat.

I love the incredible colors of a New England Autumn. Because of the variety of deciduous trees, there is a vast array of colors spread out across the landscape. From vibrant yellows to rich, warm oranges…deep reds and touches of scarlet. I can sit and stare at nature’s brushstrokes for hours.

  593. Annaon 21 Nov 2009 at 9:33 am

This year my eyes have been reopened about the fun and colors of Autumn. My 2 year old buddy has been taking walks with me. He has reminded me of the fun of rustling leaves, the changing colors of the trees, and fun leaf crafts I had almost forgotten. Some simple shapes and a colorful leaf can become a turkey with help from little fingers. With a little help from my buddy, this has been a wonderful Autumn!

  595. Bonnieon 21 Nov 2009 at 9:55 am

Autumn is one of the two of my favourite seasons, spring is the other! I love the crisp morning air and when the sun touches the beautiful colours on the leaves, it is breathtaking. Thank you for entering my name in for the beautiful set of stamps.

Just thinking about fall makes me want to put a sweater on and go out and enjoy the Autumn splendor. This is one of the prettiest sets to display fall. Thanks for entering my name. Looking forward to meeting you someday.

I have to admit, I am a HOT weather person, and living in Wisconsin we don’t get a whole lot of that! So, to me Autumn is just the beginning of winter, and there is something very sad about that… HOWEVER, my boyfriend’s bday is in late Oct, and we always go rock climbing around that time at Devil’s Lake St Park — the colors are beautiful! Just like one of Michelle’s cards !!!

  610. Phyllis Huieon 21 Nov 2009 at 11:54 am

What a beautiful stamp set. I love autumn. In the fall it is my favorite time of year. In the spring, it is spring, but for now I am in love with the beautiful color of the trees and the great piles of leaves which people rake together for collection.

  615. Christieon 21 Nov 2009 at 2:09 pm

my favorite think about autumn is the smell in the air. The air is so crisp, and in our area, a lot of people burn wood, so you have the nice homey wood smoke in the air. And don’t forget the great smells of cinnamon and pumpin and apples…. ah!

  616. Kathyon 21 Nov 2009 at 2:35 pm

I can’t get enough of the fall colors and the sound of the dried leaves crunching as you walk through them. I also love the warmth of a good sweater countering the crispness of the air.

  617. DonnaBon 21 Nov 2009 at 2:39 pm

Michelle….what delicious bolg candy! My favorite thing about Fall are the colors. They are rich, deep, gorgeous colors. It also means SNOW is getting ready to fall. Woo Hoo!

  620. Trisha Smithon 21 Nov 2009 at 3:21 pm

After having breast cancer surgery in Aug. 2004 and beginning chemotherapy in Sept.
I sat in our livingroom recliner peering out at the two Red Maple trees that grow in our front yard. Their branches cascade toward our house, shading it wonderfully from the hot Summer sun. That Fall, as I recovered from the effects of chemo, I watched those leaves turn the most beautiful shade of cheery orange!! When the Fall sunshine shone through them, it renewed my spirits, gave me a pick me up that only God can give. It gave me hope and I knew I’d be allright. I’ll never forget that gift that Fall. Those leaves since have never shone that bright, or stayed so long as that Fall 2004. Autumn fills me with hope, and love, and joy! I celebrate being here on earth each Autumn!

  621. Vickion 21 Nov 2009 at 3:25 pm

Wow, what great blog candy! Thanks for the opportunity to win! Love this stamp set! Thank you.

  622. Kim Son 21 Nov 2009 at 3:27 pm

Fall, though consider a prelude to winter is a new beginning to me. I love the colors that show the glory of our Lord. Such a wonderful time. The colors, the smells it all adds up. I do miss seeing the true colors of fall. Here in central California we have fog or heat. When fall does arrive, around Christmas time, the leaves finally start falling off the trees, but not with the pretty colors I have seen in other parts of the country. So this set is perfect for anyone to re-create those rich beautiful fall colors.
    Thanks Michelle.

  623. Janice Don 21 Nov 2009 at 3:34 pm

The autumn colors of flowers and trees turing from the greens are my favorites. Knowing that God has a hand in all nature’s decorations of the earth. Taking pictures to preserve the awesome paintbrush used over the season. Realizing that the year is almost over, turning again to renewal beginning with Christ’s birth at Christmas!

  624. Sandraon 21 Nov 2009 at 3:35 pm

well to be honest, I love the fall because it means the humidity of summer is gone! I also love the excuse to start stamping with my leave stamps again!
    Thanks for the fun!
    Sandra

  625. Janeyon 21 Nov 2009 at 3:45 pm

Fall is the most delicious time of the year for me! I love the colors, the smells, the need for a sweater, the crunch of the leaves, smell of wood burning in woodburners, apples and pumpkins, cider, and warm connections with my friends and family. We are starting the ‘nesting’ inside because of cool temps, so our gathering togethers are more deliberate and with people we really want to be with. For us, Thanksgiving pulls it all together here in northern Indiana - and next comes the snow! Yea!

  626. Colleen Dietrichon 21 Nov 2009 at 3:47 pm

I like this set, too, Michelle! You’ve made some nice things with it….I’d love to be able to do the same! Hope I win! :)

  631. Kathy Eddyon 21 Nov 2009 at 4:49 pm

My favorite thing about autumn is definately the colors of the harvest. I love all those great vegetables piled together at the markets with those great colors and textures. Simply art for the eyes as is. I also love Packer footbsll but I won’t bore you with that! LOL Kathy Eddy

  632. Liz Killianon 21 Nov 2009 at 5:11 pm

Watching my puppy (ok, so he’s not a puppy anymore, but to me he will always be my puppy) remember how much fun it is to run through a pile of leaves. How funny that he seems to forget each year!

    Dear Michellle,
In my opinion there’s nothing NOT to love about autumn! The leaves crunch, the air is crisp, my menus at home become warmer and heartier, and I sleep like a baby under cozy blankets where my dogs love to snuggle! And…then there’s my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, a time of great appreciation for all that so wonderful in my life!
Thank you for the opportunity to enter your drawing!
    Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I love the beautiful autumn colors, and the way the gold, red, and orange leaves contrast the blue sky. I love the cool air, and bringing out my favorite sweaters. I have always loved the fall here in Illinois…so much that I planned an October wedding years ago! So my FAVORITE thing about fall is myy anniversary!!

  641. Beckyon 21 Nov 2009 at 8:34 pm

Because I live on the border line of the western tip of Texas and Mexico, we do not have the abundance of beautiful trees that can show the color foliage that other states or cities experience. But just the change in weather is a beautiful feeling I can’t describe. And I love it. However, since my teens I have promised myself to travel to the east coast to experience what I have seen only on TV & pictures. To this date I have not, but thankfully my youngest sister moved to Tacoma, WA. It may not be the east coast but it is as beautiful and has those beautiful maple trees that I adore and finally I was able to experience twice (4 and 5 years ago) the color change and bring those huge maple leaves as a keep sake. God has made this earth grand hasn’t He.

  642. Carole M.on 21 Nov 2009 at 8:57 pm

my favourite thing about Autumn (on a day here when it’s currently 38 deg. C (100 deg. F) before midday, is that the garden still says ‘Spring’ but the promise is of cooler weather conditions rather than hotter.

Fall is a wonderful time when the heat of AZ is finally to an end for the year. Coffee in the mornings, and snuggling under a wrap by the fire place in the evenings. I just love this time of year;-)

  659. NancySon 22 Nov 2009 at 12:57 am

Autumn is my FAVORITE time of year (Spring is a very close second) because it’s a treat for all the senses. I love the smell of leaves, the gorgeous colors, the crisp air, the knowledge that the holidays are coming and all the fall veggies (pumpkin soup, butternut squash curry, etc…YUM). My very favorite thing about Autumn is that it’s snuggle time (especially after a long summer in which I’m always telling my hubby that he’s too hot to hug for more than a few seconds).

  660. Val Won 22 Nov 2009 at 1:26 am

I love the cooler days of autumn, and taking walks in the fine weather. It’s cool, but all you need is to layer up a bit to be comfortable outside. I like to take walks through the fallen leaves. I love the scent of the dry leaves, and the crunch of them beneath my feet. Autumn is my favorite season of the year.

Love this set because I love the leaves. You can do so much with them colorwise. Thanks Michelle for coming to me house and teaching me your tricks!

  680. Kimberly Annon 22 Nov 2009 at 1:36 pm

I have more than one favorite about autumn. I love the crispness of the air, the changing of the leaves, the smell of baking… I could go on! Autumn is my favorite season of the year.

  681. Chris R. from Iowaon 22 Nov 2009 at 1:39 pm

I love that set and kicking myself for not getting it but have sort of shot my excess cash flow for my hobbies. Fall - the three S/s - sights, smells, and the sounds of crunching of the leaves. I looove the colors of fall, the smells of wood burning, fall baking with lots of spices, and the sounds of leaving crunching under foot. Plus, the crisp chill in the air to include another S - sweaters! Thanks for sharing your talent!

  682. Carol Mooreon 22 Nov 2009 at 2:14 pm

I love the crisp, cool feel in the air and the turning leaves.

  683. Jeanon 22 Nov 2009 at 2:15 pm

My favorite thing about autumn is watching the leaves fall from the trees. This year just as the leaves were the most beautiful shades of color, we had some windy weather and it looked as though we had colorful snow falling.

  684. Jamie keenanon 22 Nov 2009 at 2:23 pm

I would love that set. I love your site.

  685. Bobbie Con 22 Nov 2009 at 2:28 pm

This would be a lovely collecction to my stamp. Love your inspirations.

  686. Bev T.on 22 Nov 2009 at 3:41 pm

I love autumn and it is hard to pick one thing but I would have to say the vivid colors are my favorite.

  687. Carlaon 22 Nov 2009 at 3:45 pm

What I like about Autumn (we call it Herfst in Dutch) are the leaves that change in wonderful colours.
I like the photo’s on the internet of the Indian Summer in the USA, one day I hope to see them for real.
Imagine what great Indian Summer coloured card can be made from this set

  688. Mary Wilsonon 22 Nov 2009 at 4:06 pm

Autumn is God’s gift of color. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the trees have had the most magnificient shades of yellows and reds. This particular set would compliment God’s work. Please enter me for the Set Autumn Splender. Bless you in all you do.

  689. micheleon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:03 pm

i hate to be boring but it really is the colors that i love about autumn. and the wind. also there is a quality of change in the air that i don’t catch in any of the other changing seasons in quite the same way. as though something important is happening; the chill is very bright. it is bittersweet because the next thing that happens is all that color goes away and it is cold and dark and kind of desolate. so my love of autumn is tinged with a little regret… but i still love it!

  690. laura jon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:04 pm

I live in southern Ontario and love the cool crisp mornings of autumn!!! The beautiful splashes of colors in the leaves of the trees before they fall is also so breathtaking!

  691. Kathyon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:05 pm

Wow; what a great set! Reminds me of all the leaves I’ve raked this fall in northeast Ohio. The colors were extraordinary this year.

  692. Sueon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:20 pm

Fall in New England is awesome. The colors of the leaves against the bright blue sky is a sight to see. Wearing a sweater is always something I look forward to after a hot summer. Although the long, cold winter is not my favorite season, spring and fall in New England can’t be beat. Thanks for the chance for the blog candy! :) Sue

  693. Jennon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:28 pm

I love the pumpkins & egg nogs that you can find everywhere this time of year (egg nog lattes & pumpkin spice lattes & the muffins & breads to go with ‘em!!).

  694. Gayle C.on 22 Nov 2009 at 5:29 pm

To me the most exciting thing about autumn is the wind. Nothing makes me feel so free and alive like a beautiful autumn windy day. Thanks for the chance of another great stamp set.

  695. Phyllison 22 Nov 2009 at 5:42 pm

I especially love the color of the leaves and sometimes the crisp mornings. A perfect fall day for me is slightly brisk, the sun is shining, the leaves are ablaze with color and the leaves on the ground crunch when you walk on them! Perfect day for a walk!

  696. Amy Youngon 22 Nov 2009 at 5:43 pm

My favorite thing about autumn is all the smells…. hot apple cider, pumpkin pie, leaves… Everything just smells so wonderful in the fall!

  697. Saraon 22 Nov 2009 at 6:10 pm

i love the crisp air and falling leaves, the bright red apples and the warm hues of nature . i love wearing fuzzy sweaters and snuggling on the couch. i love the decorations and corn and punkins. i just love everything about autumn.

  698. Doreneon 22 Nov 2009 at 6:35 pm

I love to watch the leaves change colors, and the cool crisp air.

  699. Dawnon 22 Nov 2009 at 6:41 pm

I would love the opportunity to win this stamp set! I love autumn and this set is beautiful & your work is fabulous!

  700. Linda S.on 22 Nov 2009 at 6:53 pm

I live high in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, and what I most look forward to in the Fall are the beautiful red and orange colors of the maple trees. You can’t recreate these amazing colors–only Mother Nature has this palette. Every day brings new colors and breathtaking views. It ‘almost’ makes up for the rather lengthy winter that follows. (I’m not such a fan of winter.)

  701. Janeton 22 Nov 2009 at 7:00 pm

    Hi Michelle,
Fall is “Mother Nature” at her best…us mortals couldn’t come close to copying the vibrant colors. Cool, colorful and crisp!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win this fabulous blog candy. Cheers, Janet

  702. Deb-doodleson 22 Nov 2009 at 7:01 pm

    Michelle,

My favorite thing about fall is when the air is a little cooler and crisp and you make crunching sounds when walking through the leaves. It is a special memory of when I was little.

    Deb

  703. Rachel Bon 22 Nov 2009 at 7:22 pm

What a great set. I love it! My favorite part of Autumn (besides my birthday!) is the changing colors! I love the changing leaves as you drive through the Colorado mountains.

  704. Lynne P.-D.on 22 Nov 2009 at 7:38 pm

Here in Southern Ontario the best thing about fall is the color of the leaves and the bright sunny days. From my house the Niagara Escarpment looks like it is on fire with color.

  705. Candy Heathmanon 22 Nov 2009 at 7:50 pm

What I like about Autumn is the changing of the leaves and the cooling weather. ALthough living in Arizona, we do not have much of an Autumn. On Thanksgiving day, they are predicting 79-80 degrees!! How can anyone get into the holidays with that kind of weather? But I guess it is better than shoveling snow! LOL!

  706. Melanison 22 Nov 2009 at 8:30 pm

    Hi Michelle,
Well what I love the most about the fall are the soft rich colors that we are discovering little by little just like if the summer had hidden them under her warm coat of vibrant colors. Since Red is my favorite color I do feel pretty comfortable.

  707. Jayne S.on 22 Nov 2009 at 8:31 pm

I have to pick just ONE thing that I love about autumn? I would say it would have to be the beautiful colors as the leaves turn. (Although I also love the crisp taste of fresh-picked apples, fresh apple cider, the crunch of leaves underfoot… well, you get the idea!)

  708. Leanne D.on 22 Nov 2009 at 9:52 pm

Favorite thing about autumn?? For me it would be Thanksgiving Day. Everything about autumn culminates with this special holiday. Be blessed!

  709. lacyquilteron 22 Nov 2009 at 10:38 pm

I know it’s not as common as it used to be, but I just love the smell of burning leaves.

  710. Lee Cockrumon 22 Nov 2009 at 10:48 pm

I love the windy days, when the air smells so sweet and clean. It smells sort of like watermelon to me. I love to sit out in the sun and smell the air, and feel the wind in my face.

thanks for the chance to win!

  711. Christy Con 22 Nov 2009 at 11:22 pm

Fall is my favorite time of the year. It reminds me of the goodness that we have truely been blessed with from the spring and summer…you know…warm sunshine, fresh rain, things starting to bloom–new life beginning… to the growing and maturing of the sunshine, rain and plenty from the gardens. Its the time right before the earth “sleeps” getting ready for the next delivery of new life/blessings.

  712. Cecile Gon 22 Nov 2009 at 11:26 pm

My favorite thing about fall is all the soft sweaters — the people you care about look even more cuddly and huggable in soft sweaters! :)

  713. Jennifer Fordon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:18 am

EEEEEE!!!! Another brayer workshop that I can actually get to…maybe.

Love this set, and all the ways that yu have used it. I think it is a classic.

  714. Dawnon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:19 am

I love watching the world (trees, plants, etc) go to sleep for the winter, hot cups of tea/hot chocolate on our deck late at night waiting for the hubby to come home (1 a.m.), warm sweater, the smell of a wood stove and snow.

  715. Jennifer Fordon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:22 am

Oops, forgot to mention, besides the lovely fall leaves, my favorite thing in the fall is

    FOOTBALL!!!!!!

and gaudy Homecoming corsages made of mums as big as your head,

And the smells of leaves burning and the first fires in fireplaces..which are not things we experience here in Florida very often.

  716. Amy Hon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:43 am

Michelle I’ve learned so much from your tutorials, ways to think outside the box with my stamps, and I just wanted to say Thank You Very Much, You’re an Inspiration!!!
My Fav thing about fall has to be, of course, THE COLOR! There’s nothing as breathtaking as rounding a bend in the road and seeing a Splendor of Color Unfold before your eyes, and feeling yourself go, Ohhh!

  717. Laurie in MNon 23 Nov 2009 at 1:49 am

Perfect weather, not to hot or to cold, is what I love about Autumn. I also like the smell of the air. And with cooler weather, soups and crusty loaves of Vienna bread for supper and pies for dessert are perfect meals.

And for the past three years, a flock of over 50 female cardinals gather in our trees and take turns eating the berries off some bushes.

Thank you for offering SU stamp candy.

  718. Diannaon 23 Nov 2009 at 1:50 am

    Michelle,

I love this stamp set, because I love leaves. My favorite thing about Autumn is the bright colors when the leaves begin to change. The bright orange, yellow, red and rust colors just make me say “AWE”. About a week ago I drove down Padden Express in Vancouver Washington, where I live, just look at all the trees that line this road. There are retaining walls on each side of the road, and they have these bright red and orange things (some type of climbing plant) all over the walls, and combined with the trees it is just heavenly.

Thanks for offering this wonderful stamp set and I would feel honored if I won and to use it to create some “Autumn” cards.

    Sincerely,
    Dianna Towner

    Happy Thanksgiving

  719. Tejalon 23 Nov 2009 at 4:18 am

the colors in natures, the chill in the air…perfect for a cup of steaming hot chocolate!!!

  720. Catherine Krafton 23 Nov 2009 at 6:05 am

Autumn is my favorite season………it starts to cool off after a hot summer and then it’s time for comfort food of homemade soups and breads, the beautiful colored leaves and baking all kinds of goodies. Being able to sip hot cider and warming up to a crackling fire…….then there is Thanksgiving. Family, friends and so many wonderful blessings and memories to share. This year Thanksgiving will be our 21st wedding anniversary and i am so grateful for my wonderful husband and family.

  721. Jennyon 23 Nov 2009 at 7:52 am

One thing I like about fall is walking my favorite path in the woods, kicking leaves as I go, hearing the sounds of silence, watching as the sun rays streak through the trees. It makes for good memories. Now if I could just translate these mental images into beautiful cards in Zindorf style! Thanks for the blog candy offer…

  722. Nancy Tuttenson 23 Nov 2009 at 8:01 am

I love fall colours - especially when the trees turn bright colours - yellows, reds, oranges, etc. This year has been particularly nice - the leaves have stayed on the trees longer, the weather has been very nice.
Thanks for offering another candy blog. You are fantastic!
Looking forward to your next creation!
    Nancy

  723. Lynn Gwinnon 23 Nov 2009 at 8:08 am

I love the smell and crunching of the leaves on long fall walks. I also love apple cider simmering on the stove and the aroma that fills the house.

  724. Pamon 23 Nov 2009 at 8:14 am

Fall always reminds me of the word my dad used to use - invigorating! There are so many things about it that engage all the senses God gave us, and it leaves lasting impressions on the mind with breathtaking color and design. The blog candy set can definitely capture a small portion of that. Thank you for the offer, Michelle.

  725. adrienneon 23 Nov 2009 at 8:45 am

    Bonjour Mme Zindorf,
J’aime bien les couleurs de l’automne. Puisque je vis à l’est du pays, nous y trouvons beaucoup d’érables et la variété de teintes est superbe. L’ensemble ferait un bel ajout à ma collection. Merci!

  726. Susan Swansonon 23 Nov 2009 at 9:00 am

My favorite thing about autumn has to be the smell of leaves or wood fires in the air… then you know autumn is here!

  727. Melanieon 23 Nov 2009 at 9:02 am

Fall here in our community means sorghum cooking, and beautiful colors on the trees as they change from green to red, gold, and browns. I love what you have done with this set in the past, thanks for the offer.

That is such a pretty stamp set! Love the detailed leaves, and I have a “thing” for acorns lately! Since we are in FL, my favorite thing about autumn is that the air gets just a little bit cooler and less humid. Hooray! But, we did get back to NY, and I loved the fall colors and the smell of the leaves.

Thanx for your great blogcandy’s give away………

  736. Cathy Greenon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:26 pm

I’m probably too late, but I’ll comment anyway. I’m not a fan of autumn. The colors are pretty and all that, but it just means that winter is right around the corner….and I HATE winter! I do like the crisp mornings that turn into warm days. I do love jackets, and you can’t wear those in the summer. I also love the fall vegetables, (squashes and pumpkins). So I guess it’s not so bad. It’s just not my favorite.

  737. Melon 23 Nov 2009 at 12:44 pm

I love this set! Leaves have so many possibilities and I’d much rather be stamping leaves than raking & picking them up (which I’ve done a lot of lately).

  738. LynneZon 23 Nov 2009 at 1:20 pm

Michelle - My favorite thing about autumn is the changing colors of the leaves and the many beautiful colors you see each autumn. Autumn is watching mother nature get ready to take a nap so she can rest up for the spring.

    Michelle-

I just love this set. I’ve seen you use it with different colors in several cards and those were so beautiful. I like autumn for the colors, of course, and for the Thanksgiving holiday. Also, I know about mushrooms and my husband and kids will go for mushroom picking and make delicious mushroom homemade soup. It is creamy and comforting… and at the evening when it gets colder we have bowl of warm mushroom soup with sour cream…..
Thank you for sharing you candy. I hope I win this time, Olga

  746. Judi Szyndrowskion 23 Nov 2009 at 3:56 pm

I love the colours of autumn. Sadly, this year we did not get to experience the beautiful golds, reds and oranges in western Canada. The weather did not cooperate, and all we got was brown.
I will just have to make up for it by creating my own fall scenes when I win that wonderful stamp set you are offering!! Thanks for your generosity. Judi
