Here is this year’s non-traditional colored Christmas card. I think I needed someone here to tell me to “STEP AWAY FROM THE BRADS”. Yes, I got a bit brad happy, lol.
I thought this would be nice for those people close to sandy beaches where it does not snow. 🙂 You lucky people. I am always doing snow scenes and that is probably a bit weird for someone to make that never sees snow. So here is one for you warm climate blog readers.
Let’s get started. . . . .

On a 4″ square piece of Whisper White, brayered Tempting Turquoise at the top and bottom of the card stock.
Stamped the Ornament from the Stampin’ Up! set “Delightful Decorations” using Bordering Blue.
Colored in the image using a Bordering Blue Marker.
On another piece of Whisper White card stock, stamped the Ornament again only this time using More Mustard ink.
Punched the Ornament out with the Ornament Punch.
Sponged Really Rust Ink around the edges of the Ornament.
Sponged Bravo Burgundy ink around the edges of the ornament, not covering the Really Rust ink entirely.
Added Basic Black ink with a sponged on the left side fo the ornament.
Adhered the Ornament to the card stock and added a hook to the shadow with a Bordering Blue marker and a hook to the colored ornament with a Gold gel pen.
Cut the card stock down to 3″ square and punched the corners with a ticket corner punch.
Used a Gold Paint Marker to edge my panels with.
Ran the Tempting Turquoise panel through my Big Shot Machine using the Flourish Texture Plate.
Punched 4 small photo corners from Tempting Turquoise card stock and edged them using the gold paint marker.
Added the Dusty Durango ribbon, gold brads and the photo corners.
Here is the finished card measuring 5.25″ square.
May you be safe and warm today.
Until my next post. . . . . .
Hugs,
Michelle
