Happy Holidays!
Russ and I just wanted to send you warm wishes for the Holidays.
I will be taking a couple of days off from blogging to clean my house and finish last minute preparations for Christmas and of course, spend precious time with loved ones.
I will however be checking my e-mail a couple of times a day so feel free to e-mail me or call me should you have any product or workshop questions.
May you have a very safe and love filled holiday!
Huge Hugs,
Michelle
This plaque was made a couple of years ago but I still use it every Christmas.
Recipe: Painted with white acrylic paint a 11.25 x 8.5 inch bare wood plaque. After it dried I masked the snow area with a scrap piece of paper torn at the top edge. Painted sky with first Butter Pecan acrylic paint and then sponged Dark Brown acrylic paint at the top and along the horizon line. Let dry.
Stamped Lovely as a Tree trees with Black Stazon along the horizon line. Removed snow mask. Stamped Trees Three Trees (now retired, but you could substitute Branch Out) with Stazon Black and took a Black Artist Pen and extended the branches of the trees. Stamped Snowflakes with Stazon Opaque Cotton White.
Used just a touch of the Pecan acrylic paint to make shadows for the trees.
Stamped “Merry Christmas and” with Stazon Black. Stamped “Peaceful Wishes” using a small amount of Dark Brown acrylic Paint applied to the stamp with a sponge brush. The rest of the sentiment was die cut from Black card stock and glued to the board. I did not put any protective coating on this because it will be used indoors only and I didn’t know how the black cardstock would react to a sealant.

Isn’t it a blessing to be able to say “taking time off to be with family”. So many folks are apart and would kill to have what we will have at Christmas; each other to hold and laugh with. God has blessed us and especially me as he brought you into my life. Michelle, thank you for another year of inspirations and sharing of your adventures in your work shops. I wish you and yours bountiful blessings big and small and Merry Christmas to you all.
Merry, Merry Christmas to the Zindorfs. Wishing you another year of love and laughter and friendships, new and old. Have a blessed Holiday, warm hugs, CAROL DEE

That is beautiful, Michelle. Merry Christmas to you and yours….and best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, New Year!
You amaze me with your talent Michelle. This is really beautiful and I may try to do something similar for my daughter before tomorrow (eeks there’s not much time). Thank goodness I finally landed one of those Trees Three sets some time ago on ebay for not too much money. I love that set. I also have the other tree set – whoopee. I don’t know what an artist pen is but maybe I can find one at Michael’s? Merry Christmas to you and all your family and thank you for all the wonderful inspiration and knowledge you share with us year round.
