Yeah! I Can Post Pictures Again, Plus Colored Pencil Art and Blog Candy Winner!
I am very sorry I have not been able to post. Looks like they got things fixed. I will be back later today with a tutorial for you. For now, here is a look at this week’s Color Pencil Art. Remember my New Years Resolution is to draw more.
I grow Purple Cone flower throughout my Perennial Gardens and it does attract the gold finches by the droves. So of course, that is what inspired this 8.5″ x 8.5″ color pencil drawing.

Karen, congratulations to you, both in the blog candy and being a SURVIVOR!!!! My Mom is a Worrior right now (fighting to survive) and is having surgery today. God bless you both! I wish you success in your resolution to visit your craft room more. Look at your craft room as sanctuary rather than a MUST DO more.

Thanks for the treat of the goldfinch and coneflower. The bird looks so soft and the flower so crisp. Amazing what you can do with colored pencils! I hope some lucky admirer will buy it.
