Blog Candy Time!
On the road again. . . . . .
I am heading South. Going down to Jacksonville, Florida to teach this weekend. Jacksonville are you ready to get your create on! I have to say I am ready for some warmer temperatures with no snow in sight, lol.
How about some wonderful, sugar free, blog candy for those of you not joining me in Jacksonville? Yeah!!!!
This weeks blog candy is a Stampin’ Up! stamp set, named Wanted. I have used my set many, many times. I cannot get enough of that horse.

Yippee…if you are heading for Jacksonville THIS week-end, that means that NEXT week-end you will be in the STL area and I will be learning the fine points of brayering at your class.

My son, when he was a little squirt, loved his cowboy hat just like his Pappy!! In fact, I’ve got that picture in my living room, here in the old homestead, with Pappy and Matt in their matching cobwboy hats!! Can’t hardly believe Matt is now 16years old. That sure seems like along time ago!!!!

I am so glad you are heading to warm weather! ENJOY IT FOR ALL THE UPSTATE NY’S WHO ARE FREEZING & SUFFERING FROM SAD BECAUSE THERE’S NO SUNSHINE EITHER! If you are wondering why I am posting to you at 3:40 am, it’s because my muscles are cramping from shoveling snow for 7 hours straight. My Dad usually uses his slow-blower to clear out not only their home, but also 4 other neighbors who can’t handle the snow. He also makes sure the fire hydrants at either end of the very long street are cleared. I dropped He & my Mom @ the airport @ 4am yesterday so they could catch an early flight to South Carolina to visit my youngest brother’s family. Getting to the airport was quite the driving adventure. As I was saying goodbye, my Dad “mentioned” that he hoped his neighbors didn’t try to get out or shovel. Taking the hint, I said “Don’t worry I’ll plow them out.” His comment “You can’t use the snow-blower because you’ll scratch the car, and besides’ I didn’ leave any oil/gas mix for you. Oh, just don’t worry…If only Don (next-door neighbor) was home.” I caved, and assured them I could deal with it, which I did. I was on the run all day, but when I sat down at 11pm, I cramped right up. Since sleep alludes me, I decided to go to your site. Well obviously, I was thrilled to see candy offered. Where is Jacksonville will you be teaching. I lived in Jax for 10 years and I didn’t think that stamping or scrapping was very popular in that town. There weren’t many stamping stores & those were very small. I wish I was there now & could go to your workshop. I wish you were stopping at Charlotte, NC area.

Thanks for the opportunity. Love the way you used the new bird punch. I can follow your step-by-step “color a bird,” but I wouldn’t be able to do that on my own.
