Blog Candy!!!!
Let me say, I must really love this Stampin’ Up! set “Friends Never Fade” because I purchased it twice, lol. Now come on, I’m sure I am not the only one out there that has did that with a stamp or two. 
Does this mean that I possibly have too many stamps, Nah! I don’t think so.
Now do to my error, I am giving one of these gorgeous sets away. If you would like to enter to try to win this set, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me to enter you. I will be using a random number generator on Monday, October 4, 2010 to select the winner. So there is really no need to shower me with compliments to try to better your chances. The random number generator does not read the comments, lol. I do read every comment and appreciate the love you send me, but the random number generator could care less.
I hit the road again tomorrow, bright and early to make my way from Ohio to Elk Grove Village, Illinois where I will be teaching my brayer techniques to some of the best stampers in the world, I’m sure. I have just a few spots avialable in the Friday workshop. If you are interested in attending, please e-mail at mzindorf@aim.com. The Saturday workshops are all sold out. Any how, I will be spending the day packing and loading the van.

Oh yeah I’ve done that many times and it always just frost my you know what. I could have purchased something new instead of what I already had. I’m trying to weed out some stamps so I can keep up with what I have. I’m having a real hard time letting go of my wood stamps that I have had for so many many years. Well even if you don’t want or “need” a compliment — we all still love getting them. If for no other reason than to know somebody took the time, and that means more than anything to me. Buy a stamp set twice… not me! NOT! I’ve hit my forehead so many times, it has left a hand-print on it. The only consolidation is that I can give the extras to my crafting friends and they love me for it. Love your blog! Oh by the way I double-checked and I don’t have this set! haha!

Second: I have bought the same item (paper, stamp set, embellishment…the list goes on and on…) lots of times. But not as often as my friend, Helen. So now, when anyone in our group makes a duplicate purchase, we lovingly call it “Pulling a Helen”.

I think it’s awesome that you bought it twice. I frequently get ready to make a card planning to use a certain set or embossing folder or whatever….. come to find out that it’s my best friend that owns that set/folder/whatever and not me!!!!! I think I did that once…a long time ago. That is part of the reason that I started keeping a very long spreadsheet of the ones that I own.
