How to Stay Young :)
This is my last day in Tucson, AZ (frown). It is so beautiful and the people are wonderful. I leave here first thing tomorrow morning to return to cold Ohio.
I don’t have any stamping for you today. I received this from a friend and wanted to share it with you.
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Try everything twice.
On one woman’s tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph:
“Tried everything twice. Loved it both times!”
2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)
3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever…
Never let the brain get idle. ’An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’
And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s!
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.
And if you have a friend who makes you laugh,
spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.
6.. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.
LIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever..
Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don’t take guilt trips..
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county,
to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
I love you, my special friend.
11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second
chance..
And if you don’t send this to at least 4 people – who cares?
But do share this with someone.
Remember! Lost time can never be found.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of
battle.
Wine does not make you FAT ….
- it makes you LEAN ….
(Against tables, chairs, floors, walls and ugly people.)
Have a great day!
MY BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!
Until my next post. . . . . .
Hugs,
Michelle

Wonderful sentiments. Tell us how you are losing weight. I am impressed!
Thanks for sharing this. Congrats on the weight loss too! I hope one day to be able to attend one of your workshops. I was hoping I might make the Arizona one, but due to retail work and this time of year (holidays and inventory), no time off given. One day, though, one day.
Loved the post! And thank you so much for the class yesterday! It was FABULOUS! I am so thrilled to be able to brayer correctly and get the results I wanted! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Loved this and needed this. I’ve found this poem all to be soooo true since going thru my major surgery last week. I’m going to laugh more and do more things I enjoy when I heal completely. You lost 17 lbs….you go girl. I’m so proud of you. I lost 58 lbs a few years ago but have gained 30 lbs back so now when I heal after my surgery I’m going to be eating healthy again and exercising so I can get that 30 lbs back off. So I’m right there with you. It’s a struggle but we are worth the struggle. My favorite quote is : “Nothing Tastes As Good As Thin Feels.” Hugs to you my friend, Becky
Oh, I love this! Thanks for sharing, Michelle. I’m going to pass it on.
Thanks, Michelle. I needed to read that today. Have a safe journey home.
Makes you stop and think about what we view as important, doesn’t it? Life is too short to worry, be angry, or hold on to past hurts. Thank you for sharing this. Congratulations on your lose! Keep going and stay strong!

Now if you’ll just come out here for a Brayer Event….
