Hey, it’s gardening time!!!!
I’m working out in the garden today. While I am digging in the dirt, I have some great blog candy to give away. How about a Stampin’ Up! set of Fast & Fabulous. This set is a level 2 hostess set and it is also a 2 step stamping set. Most importantly it is a flower set. You just cannot have too many flowers in your life.
All you have to do to enter for a chance to win this awesome stamp set is to leave a comment at the end of this post telling me to enter you. If you are getting this blog update via e-mail you will need to CLICK HERE and then leave a comment.
I will select the winner on Thursday, May 12th using a random number generator. Good luck to all!
Stamping is my number 1 passion, but gardening ranks a very close second.
I’ve included in this post some pics of my compost bins and miscellaneous stuff from my garden.
My compost bins are made from wood skids that Russ screwed together on three sides. The front is another skid that we just prop against the others to make a cube. I have 3 of these bins and lots and lots of compost to use in my gardens. The bins are not pretty, but very functional.
My garden is starting to come to life.
Everything is really green since we have had 3 weeks of rain here in Ohio.
This is a bed that I am reworking to grow veggies in, yummmmmmmm.
I hope you get to feel the sun on your face today also.
Until my next post. . . . . .
Hugs,
Michelle

Enjoyed my second brayer workshop with you in Bridgeport (SYR) recently. People tell me they can see your influence in my newest cards!
I’ve been digging in the dirt too, and actually prefer STAMPED flowers–they last so much longer than the real ones (and much easier on the back)!

Stamping may be one favorite hobby, but gardening and then watching all the critters eat what I planted is just as much fun. At least these flowers won’t be nibbled up!

Hi Michelle! Thanks for sharing pix of your garden. I’ll look forward to seeing pix at harvest time. I’m in the Tucson area and we have citrus trees, 2 which took a big hit with a big winter freeze that hit us in February. The only other edibles in the garden are some herbs which are doing great. We have so many critters that come into our yard that just love to chew on our edibles. Thanks for the opportunity to win your lovely blog candy! Hugs!!
Your gardens are looking GOOD!!
Please enter me to win this great set. I am so looking forward to working in the garden. We are finally getting some nice dry weather.
Hi Michelle,
I love this set and would love the opportunity to win. Thanks for giving that to me. Your gardens look great. I bet you can already taste the goodies.
Ah!… the smell of fresh dirt in the morning…. and a few weeks later the first stalk exploding from the earth! Sorry… I digress… I love gardening as well and I know about maintaining my tools so they are available every summer! Tks for a chance of winning some blog candy and the best of luck with your gardening. Tks for sharing it with us!
Oh, I’d LOVE to win that set, it’s marvelous! And, your garden and flowers are SO much more than we have up here in way north central South Dakota! We don’t even have flowers yet, they are just coming up and the garden isn’t even totally tilled yet! You are way ahead of us! We just couldn’t shake winter this year, but it’s nice now. I mowed for the first time this season this morning! We have about 3 acres I have to mow, so it takes a while. Good luck to ME! Ha!
Polly
I love this set! Thanks for the chance!
Thanks for the chance to enter. My garden in NE Ohio is under water yet, so I have to wait to get planting!

Hi Michelle! The only time my thumb gets green is when I am using green ink. My husband is the gardener in our family. With that said, their is nothing quite like the taste of home-grown vegetables. Wishing you a bountiful harvest this year. (And thanks for the chance!)
What a nice stamp set. Please enter me into your contest.
We finally had some rain today. It has been very dry over here.
I love the stampset. Thanks for the chance to win it.
Eveline.

I’m sure they’re coming!
Please enter me, and enjoy the sun on your face!
Enter me please! Like my periannuals….I can always make room for more stamps!
This Stamp set is so perfect for now! I am so impressed with your garden, it looks so beautiful. We are a little behind here, not much is blooming and we still seem to be having snow storms. Luckily it melts and doesn’t stick around too long. I also love gardening and your photos are making me itchy to get out there. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’d love to win this set! I will never have too many flower sets, and I never get enough flowers! Our house is too cold in the winter, we plant a few spring things, then leave (before they amount to much) to go to our cabin for the summer–where there is no sunny spot to grow a garden! So this would help my “garden” of stamps grow!
Awesome garden Michelle! Love gardening myself and am having withdrawal symptoms. Texas is in a very serious drought situation so this year my gardening is limited to
“established” plants and a small veggie garden that I can hand water. It is so bad here that I wash dishes (by hand) in a plastic tub and then take that water to pour on the tomatoes. No waste here. Praying for rain. Yes, please enter me in the blog candy drawing and thank you for sharing your photos and your blog candy.
WOW………great stamp set to start off the spring/summer season. Please enter me in the drawing. And I hear ya with too much rain……..here in PA …. we also have had our share of rain! Thanks for the great inspiration.

Oh, yes, yes, yes…….better than candy are flower stamps.
Would be awesome to win.
Gardening is my first passion, stamping comes second in my books…. however the gardening season is so short where I live that most of my spare time is used on my stamping hobby.
I think this set would be nice to add to my collection. Please add my name in the draw. Thanks.

Oh, I love gardening, too! I grew up on a farm, and the garden was the source of all sorts of vegetables! My Mom and my Grandmother canned “everything”, and we ate the goods all winter! There’s nothing like fresh food from the garden!
Presently, I am potting flowers more than anything. I’m really gimpy with bad knees, so can’t do much else. I do love my flowers, though!

And, you don’t have to weed these flowers!
Oh yeah! Time to get out and get dirty – we have the best topsoil in the country, here in north central Iowa – so it’s always a pleasure to get out and do the Spring digging and planting. And I’m sure I could use a little bit of inspiration for a flowery card when I come back inside at the end of the day, to make a pretty card – so enter my name too, please!
And thank you for all the inspirations you provide, week after week, so I can wow my friends and relatives!!!
I don’t know how you have time for gardening. Your soil looks wonderful. I bet you will grow fabulous vegetables. Thanks for the giveaway.

I am sure when in full bloom, your gardens will be as beautiful as your cards! Thanks for a change to win this wonderful set.

Michelle, Happy Spring at Last! It didn’t come fast, but it is fabulous. Please enter me in the drawing. Stamped flowers are generally better than the flowers I get with my own black thumb. LOL.
I love this set! Please enter me in the drawing.
I love gardening too! It’s so rewarding, whether it’s veggies and flowers or both. I spent way too much money on annuals this year because my daughter is getting married and we’ll have several house guests. But I love being up to my elbows in dirt, just like both of my grannies passed on to me.
Please enter me into the Fast and Fabulous drawing. You are Fabulous! And always inspire me to try landscapes on some of my cards. Thanks so much!
I would LOVE to win this set! Blog candy rocks, and I have been coveting this set for awhile, but am really needing to watch my dollars right now (out of work!). Thanks for being so generous!
