Started with a 3.75″ x 5.5″ piece of Whisper White card stock.  Brayered Tempting Turquoise ink at the top and bottom of the card stock.

Brayered Pacific Point ink at the top and bottom of the card stock, not covering the Tempting Turquoise ink entirely.

Masked the sky are with a post it note and sponged Pacific Point ink at the edge of the post it note creating the horizon line.

Punched the bird and wing out of Whisper White card stock.

Sponged Sahara Sand ink at the bottom of the bird and the bottom of the wing.  Colored the beak and eye in using a Sahara Sand Marker.

Stamped the sentiment “Thank you” over and over in the sky area of my scene using Tempting Turquoise ink.

Cut two strips of Soft Suede card stock.  One measuring 1″ x 3.5″ and the other measuring 1″ x 2.5″.  Cut the very top of the strips off to round them.

Rubbed top and left side of  the strips on an Early Espresso ink pad.

Wrapped Linen thread around the strips, securing with a glue dot on the back.

Assembled my pieces and then added two legs to the bird using a Sahara Sand marker.

Added 2 Soft Suede and a 1 Whisper White card stock panels.

Here is the finished card measuring 5″ x 6.5″.

May your day be oh so very tranquil.

Until my next post. . .  . . .

Hugs,

Michelle
