Blowing in the Wind – Tutorial #467

Hey There,

Happy Friday!   As I’m writing this post my dear husband is waiting to take me out to dinner so I will make this post very short.  It’s a super quick card and perfect for an Autumn thank you card.

I used the Direct to Paper method on the main image panel to create the illusion of wind.

Using the edge of a Whisper White Craft Ink pad, smeared the ink on a 2.5″ x 4.25″ piece of Soft Suede card stock.

Dried the ink using a heat gun to speed up the process.

Die cut leaves from Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Cajun Craze and Old Olive card stock using the Little Leaves Die cut.

Cut a few leaves from each off of the stems and glued them on over the wind.  Sponged Chocolate Chip ink around the edges of the card stock.

Embossed a 4.75″ x 4″ piece of River Rock card stock using the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Assembled my card adding two Chocolate chip panels and Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon.

Here is my finished card measuring 4.25″ x 5″.

May your Friday Night be spectacular!

Until my next post. . . . .
