The Path – Tutorial #483

Hi There,

Well I am back from Las Vegas, NV and from San Antonio, TX.   Back to back trips.  Had a super fabulous time in both locations but rather glad to be home to re-energize and to stamp and create new projects for you to view here on my blog.   Bet you thought I fell off of the plant since it has been over a week since my last post.   I’ll post some trip pictures in travel pics page here as soon as I have some time to edit them.  But for now, here is a new tutorial for you to try out.  This scene is created on a piece of Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper from the “Well Worn Paper Pack”, item number 122359.   Love this paper pack.

A little announcement before we get started on today’s tutorial, tomorrow starts the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration sales period that runs from January 24 – March 31, 2012. During this sales period you will receive your choice of a free stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog for every $50 in product you order.   I’ll post a link tomorrow to the Sale-a-bration catalog when it is released.   So stay tuned!  You won’t want to miss out on the sale-a-bration sets, paper and embellishments.

Also starting tomorrow January 24, 2012 I will be starting a new program of my own for my Stampin’ Up! Customers. Check it out!  Along with a thank you card from me for your order you will receive a token for each $50 in product you order using me as your demonstrator.  After you have collected 10 tokens you will receive a free current stamp set of your choosing, a value of $39 or less.   Here is a link to my online shopping page that you can shop at 24/7 (from the comfort of your home, even in your pj’s) and the products will be shipped directly to your door step from Stampin’ Up:   CLICK HERE TO SHOP.   My free stamp set program will be an on going program.  🙂

So, be sure to save your order and place it after today so you can take advanced of both Sale-a-bration and my new free stamp set program.  🙂

Started with a 3″ x 7″ piece of Well Worn Designer Series Paper, item number 122359.

Added torn post it notes to mask for the hill and path.

Sponged Cajun Craze in the hill.

Sponged Chocolate Chip ink at the top of the hill and along the edge of the path.

Removed the post it note masks and drew a fine line across the top of the path using a Chocolate Chip marker.

Masked along the top of the hill using a post it note and then stamped the tree from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set, item number 113252, using Basic Black ink.

Removed the mask and stamp the flowers from the Just Believe set, item number 116948, using Basic Black ink.

Added a dot of Old Olive Marker to each leaf on the tree.

Brayered Soft Suede ink on the top and bottom of the card stock.

Added White Gel pen to the flowers.  Now that makes them pop!

Added the following Basic Black and Cajun Craze card stock panels.

Added Whisper White Ribbon, item number 109025 and then popped my main image panels up using Stampin’ Dimensionals, item number 104430.

Here is the finished card measuring 8.5″ x 4″.

May the path you take today bring you to a very special place.

Until my next post. . . . .  . . .
