Now on with today’s tutorial. . . . .  . .

Project Supplies:

Stamps: Stampin’ Up!  Raining Flowers (item #122767)

Card Stock: Stampin’ Up! Whisper White, Old Olive, River Rock and Designer Series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! Neutrals Collection (item number 117157)

Ink: Stampin’ Up! Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, More Mustard and StazOn Jet Black

Accessories: Stampin’ Up! Sponges, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Silver Brads, Lucky Limeade Marker, Versamarker, Old Olive Ribbon, Large scallop punch, 1 1/4″ scallop punch, 2 1/2″ Circle Punch, Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Gun

Stamped the plant on a 3″ x 4.5″ piece of Whisper White card stock using Stazon Jet Black ink.

Colored the leaves in using a Lucky Limeade marker.

Over stamped the leaves stamp using Old Olive ink.  I love two step stamping, so easy.

Let the image dry completely and then colored over the leaves using a Versamarker and then heat embossed the image using clear embossing powder and a heat gun.

Punched a 2 1/2″ circle punch out of a scrap piece of card stock.

Used the negative part of the card stock as a mask to create the sun.  Sponged Daffodil Delight ink in the circle and More Mustard ink around the edge.

Mask the sun using the circle punch and sponged stripes of Daffodil Delight ink around the sun.

Punched a small and large scallop punch out of scrap paper.

Used the scallops to create the clouds by sponging Tempting Turquoise ink around parts of them.

Darkened the Sun Rays with Daffodil Delight ink and the circle mask.

Added an Old Olive panel and silver brads.

Added an additional Old Olive panel, DSP and Old Olive ribbon.

Finished the card by adding a River Rock card base.  Here is the finished card measuring 5″ x 6.5″.

May your day be filled with sunshine.

Hugs,
