Remember this little girl. . . . .well she is now 16 days old and looks like this.
I swear the chicks change daily, at least doubled in size.
They now have feathers popping out everywhere and the feathers have pushed out most of the fluff.
Check out that comb she is starting to grow. 🙂

The 6 chicks have been working out the pecking order since day 1. They now run at each other and bump chests and do this stare down thing. It’s quite the show.
Four more weeks in their little brooder and then they will make the move out to the large coop.
Keep the hen names coming, I’ve been writing them down.
Today is a gardening/food put up day for me. I just picked the last of the cucumbers. I have a ton of tomatoes to deal with and I have picked enough sweet peppers to make stuff peppers tonight, yum!  My pumpkins are now turning orange, sure sign of Autumn coming.
