Nature’s Peace Stampin’ Up! Card

I’m playing around with the Nature’s Peace stamp set.

The large stamp has so many wonderful images that can be use out of it all by themselves.  For example, I pulled two of the images out of it to create today’s card.  I love when I can get multiple uses out of one stamp,  don’t you?  I will show you just how to create this card in today’s tutorial.

Autumn Birch Trees

Hello There,

Here in Ohio I believe our peek time for Fall color is right now.  Our trees are just on fire with color and we have a great many leaves on the ground to add to the beauty of the season.  🙂  My favorite trees this time of year are the birch trees.  I just love their white contrast to bright Fall leaves.  So that is where I got the inspiration for this card today.

This card would be a great way to tell that special person just how very grateful you are for them.

I sure am getting the most out of my White Christmas stamp set.  🙂  Love this set.  I believe it is my top pick out of the Holiday Catalog.

All is Calm Christmas Tree Garland

Hello there,

I know it is still October, but I’ve been itching to do this quick, cute and fun garland to decorate my Christmas tree with this year.  Just thought I would share.

If you can sew a line you can whip this up in jiffy.  I don’t have a tutorial for it since it is so very simple.

Here are the steps:

Punch out 1 3/4″ circles from the All is Calm Designer Series Paper and Old Olive, Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon card stock.

Stamp the card stock circles using stamps from the Letterpress Winter and Cheerful Tags stamp sets using Old Olive, Lost Lagoon and Whisper White ink.

Sew the circles through the center one at a time in a chain.

There you have it!

Let your imagination run wild and use any colors you wish.

I will have to share a picture of it on the tree in late November when the tree will be going up.
