Blue Christmas – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Today I wanted to create a card that had the beautiful snowflake from the Holly Jolly Greetings Stamp Set, item #139882 right up front in my scene.  Added some trees and wind in the background and I created depth in the scene that really made those snowflakes come to life.  🙂

What! There is a Rooster in the Hen House!

Hey there,

Check it out, the girls now have a Rooster in their coop.  They don’t realize it, because he is only a few months old.  He is not crowing yet but, there is no mistaking those tail feathers or his size.  He is larger than all of the hens already.  He is a Buff Orpington an quite handsome.

This is a picture of him and Goldie, his hatching momma just a few months ago.  They grow so fast!

I’ve been calling him Buddy because I’ve yet to come up with a name for him.  So, I thought maybe you could help me out.  What do you say?  Can you suggest a name or two?  He will be our one and only rooster so I want it to be a very special name.

Hello there,

Wow! I created this great card by having some fun layering die cuts created with the Sleigh Ride Edelits Dies to create this none Winter scene.   I love finding ways to use a Winter product to create out of season scenes such as this.  Really adds value to this product when you can use it all year long,  don’t you think?

Grateful Cardinal – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Today I combine a few terrific stamp sets to create this Fallish cardinal card.  It’s easy to get hung up using only the stamps that come in a set but it is so fun to look outside that set and into our stash of stamps to pull different elements into your scene.  The sets I choose today work beautifully together, don’t you think?

On another note, the sentiment on this card could easily be changed to create a sympathy, birthday or a thank you card.  🙂   Oh how I love multi purpose cards like this!
