I am so glad you have started a blog! SCS is a R&R Sundae for me. The beauty you create is the cherry on top! Your paintings, and cards as well, cause me to reflect on the beautiful scenes taken for granted daily as we traverse through our hectic lives.

Ducky Day comes to life for me. I see a bubbly little 3 yr old blonde I know called Katy. I can see her barefoot and bibbed, sitting beside our pond with a little finger to her lips saying Shhhhh!, struggling to sit quietly still, but not wanting to miss a minute of the action in front of her..Then jumping up, bursting into giggles of excitement when she can’t hold it any longer! Katy personifies the simple beauty in life…Your work does too. Thanks for taking me there…

Michelle, Your pastel paintings are amazing (like all your art). I look at them and keep thinking they are photographs. The texture that you achieve in fabric, wood and stone is incredible. It looks tactile, as though, if I could touch it, I would feel the texture. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques and talents so generously here and on Splitcoast.

Hello Michelle, my daughter Robyn is a SU demonstrator here and she has a passion for stampin up which comes through in her classes. She saw your web site and excitedly passed it on to me right away. I can see why. My first love was drawing and then acrylic painting. I love your pastels and must admit pastels were the first thing I purchased from Stampin Up. I regret I have not spent time with them but now I will. You have inspired me to try my old hand again. I love the stamping and sometimes the old creative me appears and I surprise myself but I usually need inspiration from someone else these days. You are very very talented. Thanks for sharing it. God Bless, Heather

Michelle, your paintings are even more beautiful than your stamped work. I’ve read about the amount of time it takes to create one of these beauties, now I can see why…the detail is incredible!!!!

    Hi Michelle,
First of all I want to say that I am a definite admirer of you art.

You are an inspiration to so many people and we are all best to share your talent.

I am thinking about dusting off my pastels and oil pastels which have been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

I am leaning toward oil pastels but and would love to find some tutorials on working with oil pastels?
    Do you have any available?
Which do you prefer to work with, chalks or the oil pastels?

I have a a couple of my oil paintings posted at the end of my blog. The subjects are typical of what I would want to create in oil pastels.

Do you have any suggestions on a good quality paper to use?
Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Barb

I came across your blog a week or so ago, and since then I’ve been reviewing your tutorials, they are amazing. So detailed. And now that I’ve seen your paintings I understand why your cards are so beautiful. You are a ‘True Artist’.

I always have such a hard time with ‘perspective’. I can’t seem to get it right. I’m hoping I’ll improve after practicing some of your tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. . . . God bless you. Claudia
PS Your ‘Stacked Hippos’ made me laugh out loud! So cute!

    Hi Michelle,

Even though I have visited your website so many times, and even though I have gone through every one of your tutorials, and even though I have drooled over your work in the gallery at splitcoast stampers, I am still so impressed, and still so moved by your beautiful work. However, I am just blown away by your generosity. You share so much and ask nothing for it. Thank you so much. I look forward to visiting your site every day, and it is always a pleasure to do so.

I hope you and yours are well and happy.

Wishing you only the best always,
    Mitzy
