Whoa. . . .The technique of popping up lettering in your stamped scenes is so hot right now.

Of course, I had to give it whirl and today’s project is the result. Please give this technique a try, it’s awesome!

I used the very versatile, all seasons Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Sheltering Tree to create this scene and had so much fun with the sky here.

The large letters Framelits Dies are perfect for this fun technique. They are large enough to capture a good portion of your scene in each letter. 🙂

It is large format card measuring 4″ x 9″ and will fit perfectly in a #10 size business envelope which can be found at any store that sells envelopes (Walmart, Office Depot, etc.) and they are very affordable. Today’s card is all about depth. Layering objects gives you that effect and really brings that bird from the Best Birds Stamp Set into the foreground where it is front and center.

I created a dreamy background sky for this project using the Salted Technique. Caution! this technique is very addictive and super easy!

Also, don’t forget a pop of red (Cherry Cobbler) in your card making, it screams Christmas don’t you think.

Hello there,

I completely had fun using the poodle stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Delivery stamp set this morning. This poodle certainly knows she is beautiful with her Smoky Slate poofy balls of fur. I had to find the perfect background for this beauty so I teamed her up with the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies. What do you think?
