Sheltering Fall Trees – Stampin’ Up! Card

Whoa. . . .The technique of popping up lettering in your stamped scenes is so hot right now.

Of course, I had to give it whirl and today’s project is the result. Please give this technique a try, it’s awesome!

I used the very versatile, all seasons Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Sheltering Tree to create this scene and had so much fun with the sky here.

The large letters Framelits Dies are perfect for this fun technique. They are large enough to capture a good portion of your scene in each letter. 🙂

I have a challenge for you today. I made this card using some cool tones of blue. My challenge to you is to explore this project by using different colors. How about a couple of shades of Pink or maybe orange. How about purple? I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how it turns out. I would love to see what you come up with.

Here in Ohio we are having some very wonderful warm Autumn days. Our trees are turning brilliant orange, gold and red to compliment the gold and brown hues of the fields. I love that stamps give me a way to put my feelings about the season down on paper and also to share them with others.
