Seriously, I had a blast today putting together this kid card.  Most times when I come up with something in my mind, what turns out on paper is quite a bit different than my original idea.  Today, it came out just how I imagined, miracle!

Hello there,

Sometimes my cards all seem a bit serious for the little ones on my card list so I created today’s card to fill that gap.  Gotta love this frog with his goofy grin from the Stampin’ Up! You’re Sublime stamp set.  The balloon and it’s shading was made super simply with the Stampin’ Up! Balloon Celebration stamp set.  I think they make the perfect pair!

Spring Planting – Stampin’ Up! Card

I’m ready for gardening season.  How about you?

I used the super cute Stampin’ Up! You’re Sublime stamp set and filled the wheel barrel to overflowing with bright punched flowers.  Plunked the wheel barrel down in a fresh plowed garden bed and gave the whole garden a bright sun.

The You’re Sublime set has great cheery images and greetings.

On another note. . . .

I just returned from a short trip to Oklahoma where I got to participate in a wonderful fund raiser held by Sherri Peters and her Inking for Others Group and over 200 stamping participants.  I love when stamping is used to raise money.  Everyone has a blast and a great charity benefits from it, WIN, WIN!  It’s a great way to get involved.

Along with all the stamping fun, I got to hang out with my buddies, Sherri Peters (middle) and Lorri Heiling (right).  I look like I’m dreaming of my next stamping project.  Not sure what I am looking at, lol.   Don’t you just love when you look goofy in a photo and everyone else looks great.. . . .

Oh, how I love this little toad.  How can you look at that smile and not be happy?  This image can be found in the new You’re Sublime stamp set (item# 139309).

I would feel comfortable giving this card to an adult as well as a child, very versatile.  🙂  Everyone needs a bit of happy.
